Likely the best tutorial I've seen yet, as you point out details that will allow me to get the finished look I'm after. I'm actually more an intermediate in skill but am self taught so it's been hit and miss and trial and error so I am so pleased to come across this video because the tips you share are so helpful. I look forward to more in future.
I have crocheted for many years but unbelievably have never made a sweater. After having watched this tutorial I believe I can do this because you have made it look easy. Heading right now over to Etsy to purchase the pattern. Thank you for the detailed video instructions. PLEASE continue to produce patterns and videos for garments....you make all of us feel like we can do it!
Can’t say enough about this tutorial as well as the written pattern. The simplicity of explanation and the attention to detail is absolutely extraordinary. Even being left handed, I had no issue. I can’t tell you how many sweater patterns I’ve tried with such disappointment as they’ve lack detail, continuity, and clarity. Not so with this! Thanks so much for the time and effort you’ve put into making this tutorial. I’m just sorry that there aren’t any additional sweater patterns to create. Thanks again!🙏
Oooohhhh thank you so much yes I was determined to make a fool proof pattern as I know how hard I found it to find well explained patterns when I was a beginner…. I’m so glad it turned out well. I hope to do a sweater pattern as soon as I get the time ….. all the best Beth

Excellent tutorial. I'm making a perfectly fitted sweater for my daughter. I never could figure out the top down thing before. This brought it all completely clear to me.
I finished my cardigans today and it turned out perfect. I made an XL after doing the swatch. It fits perfectly. Thanks so much.for the excellent video instructions. I agree that counting was very important especially when increasing at the beginning. I also got really good at the ribbing. 😊 I posted on IG and tagged you. I bought this pattern just to have my phone mess up and now have to watch the video over again. I have made so many that the chart really helps I miss it
I’m excited to start this! Going to buy the pattern (I’m a size medium, but I like supporting the creator and need help reading patterns, so this is a great combination to teach me). I’m still working on matching gauge. This will be my second crochet adult sized garment- with the first, I learned valuable lessons, including the importance of matching dye lots when using wool, and that I hate sewing a heap of seams- so this is ideal. Thank you for all of the work you have put into this!!
I’m almost done with this lovely cardigan. I’ll have you know that Zi rarely buy patterns since there are a plethora of them for free on-line. I started this by following the TH-cam video. I kind of felt like they left me hanging by not showing how to complete the body. I tried to do it in my own then gave in and bought the pattern. I had to frog about 6 rows, but that’s ok. It was worth it. I did the border using front post and back post, but otherwise followed the pattern. Thanks for showing me a new method of ribbing. I really enjoyed making it.
Dear Ma'am, i have completed my cardigan and it turned out very nice..thanks once again for sharing your well tutored video..wish you a very healthy n happy year ahead.
Hi Beth, thank you for sharing your great teaching skills. I've made two regular and one short sleeved version of your cardigan and I love it. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for the written pattern and tutorial. I’m just completing mine now and I’m very happy with it. By all starting with the same number of stitches it allows the neck to fit nicely. I’m planning on making a couple more also. I have used Bendigo 10 ply Luxury wool from Australia and it is so warm and snuggly.
Oh thank you so much for your lovely review. And tip about Bendigo 10 ply. Do put a photo on etsy review if you have time. All the best. Regards Beth xxx

The pattern itself is well written and easy to follow. Unfortunately, it does not fit a size 2x as written. It needs at least 15 more stitches per front panel because it will not close even with the collar ribbing.
