Don't know if you will see this because you made this video 4 years ago but, just wanted to say that I just made this for my daughter. I have never attempted a full size sweater before. It was So EASY! She loved it, it was a birthday gift. Thanks for sharing!
I just finished this project with you. It turned out wonderful. This is the first piece of clothing that I have crocheted. Thank you for this tutorial.
Thank you for a beautiful and easy patter to make a cardigan. Thank you for the great step by step video and including the pattern for free with all sizes included. I think I'm going to add a hood and pockets to the lovely cardigan. I'm making it as a gift and I believe the person will love it. Also, thank you for using a 4 worsted weight yarn.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for including 4x and 5x!!! I have a written pattern and i just cant figure it out(came from hobbi) but i will do this instead
Super comfy looking cardi! Thank you for another great pattern. Thanks also for giving directions for all sizes. It’s great that you don’t charge for any size other than what you’re doing in the tutorial.
Thank you. Designing pieces that cater for ALL sizes is very important to me. Not everyone is a size 0! Yes it’s time consuming coming up with stitch numbers for different sizes but I believe if you’re going to create a tutorial why should a size small be free yet other sizes have a fee. Besides, nothing brings me more joy than creating something that’s inclusive. Many more videos are yet to come x
I so want to try and crochet a cardigan. I am a new crocheter (March 2017). I am watching all of your cardigan tutorials. You make it look so easy. Thank you for sharing. Attaching the sleeves look tricky for me . Thank you for everything you share!
I made this sweater using Lion Brand ' Feels Like Butta'' yarn and it is lovely. It was a gift and my friend was extremely happy with her gift. Thanks for the great tutorial. I like it so much I've started a second one for me....different colour of course. Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada
Thank you for such a clear and concise tutorial. I’ve only made blankets, scarfs and hats so far but I think I can make my daughter a cardigan following your instructions. Thank you for sharing your lovely design.
I love all your projects, very detailed , clear, fun and easy to follow instructions. Your channel is my favorite crochet channel. Thank you for sharing with us.
Just finished this project, I've only started crocheting for a few months but this was super easy to follow! I love the completed cardigan, seriously one of my favourite pieces of clothing I own. Thank you!!
I just started crocheting recently too! I'm going to give this a shot! I seem to need both video and written pattern because I just don't get a lot of the verbiage.
You are a blessing. I finally wanted to do more the patch blankets, scarfs and hats, but was really at a loss since there doesn't seem to be that many patterns for 2xl-3xl (and I'm a noob so I don't know how to change patterns yet to fit my size). So thank you for including all the sizes
First thank you so much for including all the sizes for this beautiful cardigan. I got confused with the sleeves making size XL so I made a puffy sleeve using the same stitch pattern and it worked out great!!
Beautiful pattern! Thank you. I was able to follow all the way through this tutorial to see how this pattern is put together. Your voice makes it easy and I don't feel rushed like Im about to miss something. Thank you.
Loved this video I’m almost done with mine in a light gray color and I’m going to start another one in a darker green or purple color. Enjoyed making this project. Thank you for this video!
A to the point video with clear instructions...you've taught me a thing or two about presentation for my own crochet TH-cam channel....and yea will definitely try out this cardi!
Your works are gorgeous and you are very generous with sharing the pattern. What a wonderful person you are! I hope you have a wonderful day. God bless 💕
What a simply beautiful design, I love the texture and the design of the drop sleeves. Thank you so much for a wonderful tutorial, you make this so achievable, I have only been crocheting for 12 months, but never attempted a garment. This will be my first one and I am so excited about making it. I have subscribed to your channel and feel blessed that I have your fabulous crochet tutorials. xx
This is beautiful, and I am going to start one. It will be my first sweater ever, and I've been a crocheter for 55 years, since I was 11 yrs old. Also been a knitter for 10 yrs. You certainly made this easy for a 1st time sweater! Thank you so much for a great tutorial!👍
Just watched your video and thank you for giving all the measurements up front. It’s really helpful for a + woman like myself. I’m a subscriber of your from now on! 🤗💗your pattern!!!!
Carrie I love this for my sister. She’s a slouchy girl 😁. She also loves pockets and big buttons. Is it possible to do a tutorial of this sweater adding pockets and buttons for closure? Just thought I’d ask. This will be the first time I crochet a cardigan. 😁. Thank you and blessings ☺️👵🏻🙏
Thank you for an awesome tutorial! Background music was the perfect volume your voice is very soothing and the sweater is just what I was looking for. So excited about your tutorials that I subscribed! Debbie from Texas

Love this pattern, with the cast on how many inches/ CMs is it meant to he? When i cast on it didnt look wide enough ive frpgged it twice and gone up to anx XXL which still looked small im a UK Large. Thank you x
I finally found the project for the beautiful yarn I got recently (I couldn't resist, I had to start it already). Thank you for a wonderful pattern. Do you think you will be putting a written version up on your blog at some point?
On the first row of the pattern, you start with a single crochet then a double crochet, at the end of the row I end up finishing with 2 double crochets is this correct please
Hi, am a beginner and ur new subscriber.....i love ur explanation and am already doing cable boyfriend sweater. I need to make a cardigan for men, can you make a video for it or can I use the same pattern for men. Can I use weight 3 yarn for this project? Awaiting ur reply..thanks in advance.....
Good afternoon, I really do hope I get a reply asap, as I am working on this for a friend. I am working it in a 4XL as she is a little heavy with a large chest, but arms are not that big. Can I do the body of the cardigan in a $XL, but do the arms in a XL or 2XL?
Well I be damned! Found a wonderful and easy crochet pattern for a beautiful sweater and once I make it, I won't be able to wear it until it gets cold again! Thank you for tutorial!
Hello, just have a question. I am preparing the L size (75 chain). On the first row of alternating single and double crochet, you are describing to start with a sc and finish with a dc. I always face a sc above chain 2. Is it my mistake? Or maybe can I perform two dc at the end (one before and one above chain 2 of the row)? Hope this is clear. Thank you in advance.
@@ShadowsRadiant no, unfortunately I haven't. I quit the project for now, and I will perhaps start again later (when I am more experienced in crocheting). Besides the problem I mention above, following the instructions for L, resulted in a 'way too big cardigan' for me (and I normally wear a L size). Sorry for not providing any help. If I figure out what the problem is, I will post here. Hope you find the solution before I do.
@@vasilikiskiada2332 Hi, I found the solution. Turn out, I made a mistake on the base when making double crochet. With 75 chain, you should end with 72 stitch in the end (because we are eliminating 3 chain when making double crochet, right?) so it might be the base is wrong. You should always end with even number and start the alternating sc dc stitch with even number. If you by any chance made a mistake on making odd number on the base, you could still proceed with it by doing alternating sc dc stitch, however the sc dc in the beginning and end of every row will be alternated too.
