In this video, we will guide you through each step of the pattern so you can create your very own beautiful hooded cardigan. We'll start with crocheting the yoke, walking you through the whole process of separating the sleeves and body. Next, we'll demonstrate how to crochet the body, finishing off with a join-as-you-go ribbed band.
We'll then move on to crocheting the hood and button-up collar and joining back onto our work to crochet the sleeves, which we'll finish off with join-as-you-go ribbed cuffs. As we go, we'll teach you how to crochet the granny stitch cluster pattern, enabling you to achieve the textured and polished look of the finished product. To finish the cardigan, we'll add pockets.
This video tutorial is perfect for crocheters who enjoy visual learning and want to achieve a perfect-fitting cardigan.

I have tried, over the past year and a half to make a sweater. I have thrown away probably 10 partially made sweaters because they looked awful. I made this Granny Pop Hoodie over the last week and I would say this pattern is genius! A beautiful sweater that I am so proud of, thank you so much. I have just about finished this cardigan for myself. My first top down and I'm hooked! Many thanks for the easy to follow tutorial. However I'm not keen on the traditional granny stitch pattern, nor all DC but there seems to be no variations out there not using one or the other. I've gone through all your designs but couldn't find anything. Maybe a thought for a future pattern? Many thanks

Anyone know how long the yoke should be after the chain 72 then 71 sc? The first sweater i did was too long and now when I wear the sweater, it falls off the shoulders. I think it's because I used a thicker yarn.
Edit: I've made 3 of these sweaters now and no matter what size, they all fall off the shoulders. I recommend making the yoke shorter.

Not sure how to make the cardigan if I change the number
I would suggest checking your tension and going down in hook size if it is too big. Make sure you are using DK yarn and not worsted weight/aran. If tension and yarn ate correct then go down a size or two in the garment. The start is the same for all sizes it just depends on where you start the shoulders etc that makes the garment smaller or larger.

Anyone have clarification on this? The original 20 chains did 6 clusters 5 chain spaces so I’m not sure how many to add to add 4 more clusters.

I mean 4 stitches not clusters. For every cluster you want to add you need to add 4 stitches. So, if you want to add 4 more clusters you need to add 16 more stitches.
