I saw this video and for some reason thought nah that's not it, but it was.. 2008 RX350. Replaced all four struts, and did a front end kit and replaced the rack and pinion since the boot was torn. Anyway, at least it is good on maintenance for a while, lol. Oh and yeah, I used a noise master tested engine, transmission, radiator, intake manifold, exhaust, control arms, brakes, struts, tierods, rack and pinion, etc... found many plastic pieces missing clips that were making some noise but not THIS one!!! Thank you. I will check mine. Update: mine was coming from the dash so I put a rubber price between the dash and the windshield and that solved the problem. Thank you very much for the idea.
I also have a 2020rx and have this vibration issue , went to dealership and couldn’t locate the problem . I will try to see if this works and get back to you . Thanks for the input
i have the same car but 450H version from 2010 and have not such vibration. I have a little squirk sometimes when its cold on the windshield behind the HUD. I put between the shield and the softplastic a little piece of tissue paper and its gone. It just do a little pressure and its enough. Great car...

I have a same kind of trouble with my Lexus RX400h, my reverse-camera turned black (the screen). Forums are full with that problem and nobody has a fix. (Except Lexus, a very expensive one). The camera is working when you test it in another working Lexus.. I hate those troubles and as Lexus is not willing to help, this was my last Lexus I had. A shame, the car itself is quiet good.
As I see it now, Lexus is living on their former glory. We had a 2001 RX that was much better built and a much more solid vehicle. We then went to BMW (oh MY what a mistake). But our 2015 RX seems so much cheaper in build quality. The little rattles and door creaks when driving are maddening. Not what you expect from a $45K vehicle, to say the least.
Our 2015 seems fairly solid but I'm with you on rattles and creaks - they drive me crazy. We took ours on a 6000 mile road trip shortly after we bought it and were very happy with how quiet it was (aside from this vibration at idle and low speeds). I guess each car can be completely different!

Gary enjoyed the video, I added foam as you described, but I’m going further and interested in removing gauge cluster, I notice two round clips on top of bezel, there is no way to get under them, any idea how to remove bezel?? Thinking of pry tool on top edge of bezel where it meets dash , any thoughts???

Oh, my God! That is insane, having to deal with annoying noises in an expensive Lexus and trying to pinpoint it. Immediate deal-breaker for me. A Lexus I leased many years ago was totally silent, but, the noise, rattling, vibration customer complaints are too numerous for me to take a chance on purchasing one. I think I’ll buy a Corolla for half the cost.
@@dannytrinh07corollas go for about 19 or 20k while most base Lexus products run about 45k so it’s actually spot on my friend bought a 2020 Corolla brand new with 15 miles on it for 19,500 and I bought my 2015 Lexus is250 f sport with AWD brand new for 55,000 I would say that’s pretty half actually less than half
Hmmm. I have a 1999 RX300 and seem to be having the same rattle you described. Is it intermittent and only rattles over some bumps? I've taken out the center dash and the glove box area and, like you, I'm beginning to look at the engine bay/cowl area. Thanks for the tip!
Bought a 2019 rx350 f sport and definitely not impressed, have vibration issue on driver door panel and front. Also has transmission rough shifting as reported by other owners.

Not many but if it's awd you're going to have power steering issues shocks and struts lower control arms but not all at once. I love the car and it has 221000 on it we are original owners as well

yay thankyou. My dash also rattles against the window. tyre pressure helps keeping it to around 34 psi.

Noises like this drive me crazy. Now that it's quiet though, it's a great car! And there's nothing wrong with buying a Corolla!

Our Lexus rattled only at low speeds or even sitting still at idle. We didn't notice it over about 20 mph. Good luck with yours!

My opinion is the older generations are the better ones.
