We bought the 2023 RX350 Luxury. This is such a useless review. 4 cylinder is fine, 0 false alarms on them, interior is amazing, safety features are great, we're getting 25mpg in the city (non hybrid) and averaged 32mpg on the hwy. Towing, lol. Everyone knows, you buy this for toyota reliability, luxury, and the ability to have a vehicle that will outlast its competitors. Ive owned German cars for years, and the minute they hit 40-60k miles, get ready for a ton of maintenance randomly popping up.

I am in the process of a manufacture buy back. I purchased a RX 500h F Sport in March. I live in Va and had to go to Philadelphia to get this car. I drove it back, no problems.... Three days later it started throwing codes about hybrid malfunctions. Took it to the local dealer, they had it for 3 days and said they said they called Lexus and they couldn't find the issue. They cleared it and returned to me. 12 days later, I was driving down I-95, the car lost ALOT of power, and it threw 6 different codes. I pulled off to then side of the highway got it towed to the same dealership.... 4 days later I got a TEXT telling me the car needed a completely new transmission. I filed a lemon dispute on the car. Lexus just agreed to buy back the car and will replace with a new one. Its been a nightmare. A $75k nightmare!!

He said the car sounds like plastic and feels the same. The trim he had was very nice with lots of options from what I saw. Looked beautiful. What a bunch of low information whiners, first off, the new 2023 is premium fuel recommended/ not required. Take some time and learn that this just means that with premium you will get better gas mileage as always, no matter a v6 or turbo 4. Also this particular turbo 4 is both direct and port injected so the valves won’t have carbon buildup like all the euro competition. Also the torque has been increased, meaning the actual power one feels is substantially higher then in previous RX models. Lexus and Toyota engineers are extremely smart with their vehicles especially the #1 selling midsize luxury crossover that has ever been sold. They have literally wiped everyone else out when it comes to knowing what customers want and how to deliver that product. Even if this comes as a bit of a surprise Audi, BMW,Mercedes, and yes Cadillac have all been trying to find their own RX and have failed for 25 years and running. All they build is something that looks good today and breaks tomorrow!!! If that’s your ticket, by all means get one of their P.O.S. I’ll stick with Lexus, they have the finest, most well built, durable and reliable lineup ever assembled in automotive history.

The 4 is faster and lighter than the v6. I find it funny that people want loud exhaust but are bothered by a slightly louder engine than the v6. All the alerters are not as bad as they say. It does not go off as much as people say unless they are actually bad drivers. Front grill is so much better than the older models. I don't get grills that actual make there way up on to the hood of the car, that to me looks ugly. I find also the car is not under powered with 275 hp. The power is there when you need it. Best of all the car is actually reliable. Which is more than I can say for all the other cars like Porsche, BMW, Mercedes.. Those cars may be fun to drive but you will continue to pay for that fun over and over again...

I had that car (450+ model) for couple days an strongly disagree with most things. Power is more than enough, it weights ~2200kg/4850lbs and it feels like compact car to drive, very agile. Super confy, fuel consumption in my case was outside city ~29-30MPG / 7.5-8.0L/100km. And only thing that was truly annoying was that beeping system saying that driver is not keeping attention. Stupid and bad system. But sides of that it was great in all aspects. If you are looking for a fast and sporty SUV then look for something else, RX500 is quick but still not so quick and pleasent i fast driving like bmw M60i xDrive. But it make no sense to compare RX to X5 two different worlds, X5 sucks at bumpy road even with adaptive suspension while RX was great at it.

One major problem with this new generation RX for those who live in area who has winter is that the design of the front doors goes way below the floor of the car and it's collect all debris from the road. The result is during winter the inside of the doors at the bottom (the huge portion that goes under the floor) is full with snow, ice, calcium, sands. The x5 is 15 K more for the same options...not worth it.
As far as reliability, the BMW, MERCEDES, AUDI, GENESIS, VOLVO......NOT EVEN CLOSE TO LEXUS.
Fuel economy for the non hybrid is just ok, but not horrible.

Six dealers in Texas said fuggedaboutit unless I wanted to pay $2,000 to get on a list with no guarantee of delivery for 9 to 12 mos. (first come first served on the list). So, a leasing dealer found an ES300h Ultra Luxury addition with additional options at one dealership 300 miles from my home, take it or leave it. 2023 RX350 Luxury at 4,000 miles. $2500, for windshield replacement, is a bit of a shock and the front dash separation is a surprise as well. Almost had an accident, due to turbo lag and the need for premium fuel drains your wallet quickly. The ride is stable and would be quiet, if not for the cacophony of warning bells and buzzers, which turn a quiet drive into a thing of the past. The car almost drives itself between the white lines, but the auto braking from guard rails around curves and when approaching traffic is really annoying. Also, the Mark Levinson sound system seems highly overrated for the extra coin, and so far doesn't meet my expectations of a surround sound environment. Don't get me started on all of the steering wheel buttons and functions which are near impossible to operate in traffic.

My sister had a a wreck with a lady on the wrong side of the road on a bridge . Her truck was totaled . We sold her our hs250h Lexus with 90,000 miles . That way with the money she had left from the settlement she could have some money left over for a couple of house payments as she healed . We still had our 2010 Lexus RX 350 which replace our 2008 Lexus 400 H which had been rear ended and we no more than got it back from the body shop and it drowned in a flash flood in the garage of all places . Our 2010 RX has 140,000 miles on it but is just like new . Later on we needed a second cat do to travel for work . At the end of the model year we saw Lexus had a new 2019 RX Lexus Sport model ! After telling the people at Lexus what all that had happened to us the people at Lexus worked out a deal with us since we had been Lexus customers since 1999 . Making a long short our first Lexus was destroyed within the first week of purchase . A man was spinning in the middle of the road with a restored Jaguar and ran us into a concrete wall . It saved our lives after 10,000.00 in damage . We are like several other people however . We did not really care for Lexus 4 cylinder . Lexus has a nice vehicle in the RX . However Lexus needs to let we the customers decide on which engine to purchase . It’s a big “ No” on the 4 cylinder ! So we may switch to a different brand next time ! In Germany I drove BMW’s X 3 on the autobahn with a 6 cylinder clean burning diesel . No diesel smell , no diesel noise . And that diesel BMW V6 was bad ass fast !!! I averaged 220 km . Purred like a big going for a meal !

@@joelthorne7434 I would highly recommend you educating yourself on how a turbo works before posting. Firstly, turbos do not feed already burnt exhaust fumes back into the engine, instead they utilise the momentum of the CO2 in the exhaust manifolds to spin a fan (the turbo). This fan is connected to another fan on the other side of the turbo (separated from each other), which forces clean, outside air into the engine, so CO2 will not re enter the engine. Secondly, while you are partially correct, high psi turbos do indeed cause significant stress to the engine, but those are mainly used in either diesels or high performance vehicles. Youll find the turbo in the lexus RX to be a low PSI running one, so there is significantly less stress on the engine.
      Hope this helps for clarification.

I think all what you mentioned is Wright the quality is going Damon. The door bucket is made from plastic and it's fixed the old 2020 was made from leather and you can move it. To hang up the phone is a big problem and takes time few months to adjust to the HuD over the glass. If it's noon time the sun reflection on the back of the car in front of you blind the HUD. GPS cut u off on the road. Or highway, which is dangerous. I like the old model

I have a 2022 RX450h F Sport Takumi. Im annoyed about the infotainment system and the fact that cruise control allows overspeeding downhill. These factors are never commented on in reviews. Yes its a lovely drive but irritations are hard to ignore and spoil the ownership experience.

The grill is just plain "BUTT UGLY". I didn't think they could do a worse job than the last grill design, but I was wrong. I should remember Lexus has been turning off style conscious buyers for years with it. Me included.
