- As we all know the Ninebot MAX G30 leaves the factory with a peak power of 700W and a maximum speed of 25 Km / h. The objective of this “Best firmware for Ninebot MAX G30” package is to exceed 30 Km / h, indeed it will be possible to reach 32 Km / h at full charge, also adding torque and acceleration to the vehicle. It is therefore a question of enhancing and increasing the overall performance of Ninebot MAX G30. The Ninebot MAX G30 has a high tolerance to enhancement, American scooters turn between hilly stretches (therefore requiring more effort) without problems with 1200W.
The Firmware
The firmware that will offer you a 1050W (the original scooter delivers 700W peak). Even the ECO and NORMAL modes will be enhanced , it will also be possible to notice an increase in braking performance.
Furthermore, the starts from standstill vary , I believe that 5 km / h are really exaggerated and you often risk running into "false starts".
Obviously, as the power increases, the autonomy of the vehicle will decrease in proportion to the firmware chosen and the driving mode.
Cruise control will activate after 3 "at constant speed and no longer at 5".
Advanced Firmware Features
The firmware has some peculiarities that have already been previously applied in the Xiaomi M365 PRO firmware and that many users have appreciated. Let's go now to deepen them.
Accelerator based on Russian algorithm
The standard throttle of the Ninebot MAX G30 is a “speed based throttle”. On this accelerator each position of the lever corresponds to a certain speed, hence often a non-fluid behavior . In this firmware the " power based throttle " or " russian throttle algorithm " has been applied , a mode where each position of the lever corresponds to a total power output . The management of the accelerator therefore becomes much more similar to a thermal engine (car, motorcycle) and you can travel at excellent speeds with a little gas . Exponential curve of the accelerator
Ninebot MAX G30 is an electric scooter with a lot of torque and acceleration, especially if you install firmware that increases its power. All this leads to a certain "nervousness" of the vehicle that could disturb during low speed maneuvers. As previously stated, the objective of Monopattinoitalia.it is to improve the driving experience . Hence the choice to apply an exponential curve in the management of the accelerator.
By applying this curve, the first part of the accelerator will give moderate increases in power thus improving the manageability of the vehicle . The second part of the accelerator will instead give very marked increases in power even with small increases on the lever itself.
KERS (engine brake) deactivated
Another change in this “Best firmware for Ninebot MAX G30” package is the absence of the engine brake . Some will be skeptical but in reality it is an option already presented on many firmware for Xiaomi M365 and also very appreciated. The KERS in fact does not recover much energy in deceleration and often leads to overheating . The KERS also makes the driving experience made of acceleration and deceleration not very fluid . Its deactivation brings the scooter to free roll when the accelerator is released and therefore to travel meters after meters with almost zero consumption! A method for limiting consumption is by tapping the gas alternating with moments of free roll.
Anti-tear function
Known problem in electric scooters is a kind of vacuum when going from the deceleration phase to the acceleration phase, and this is even more noticeable when working with KERS deactivated. To remedy this annoying problem we are met by the anti-tear function , through which the motor is not "turned off" during deceleration but is left in an active standby at very low wattage "20-30 watts" so that it is ready when will want to return to the acceleration phase. Those who were already working with KERS disabled will notice the presence of the typical hiss of the G30 engine even when decelerating through these firmware.

Thanks from Australia. Tried changing the region to US as shown in other videos which did nothing. Your re-flash works great. At first I thought it hadn't but scooter was at 50% charge. Charged it to 100% and took it for a spin (despite it being night and raining) and bingo...30kph on the flats and much better torque and acceleration!

Man I can’t thank you enough just done it on my max g30 2nd gen and it worked flawlessly. Took it for a quick spin and noticed straight away the throttle is a lot better. Does not take long to get up to full speed. Before it was very slow and sluggish getting up to speed this has made a massive difference. Has made my scooter feel like a totally different scooter than before. I needed a little more speed and this has made it so much more zippy. I can’t thank you enough. That little increase in speed is more than noticeable would not want it to go any quicker. Just need to see how it decreases the battery compared to before the hack and range.

My controller got fried so I bought a replacement which said it was genuine (but I don't think it is)

Just did this on my first gen, boosted it up to 30. Pretty neat!
Eco mode puts it on 20-25, Defaultmode is same as Sportsmode, just starts slower.

@@wuszu36 I weigh 61kg, yet it also goes as fast even when I'm riding with a passenger. This puts me at 130kg in total at 29-30km/h. What version of the step are you using? Are you sure it's not the LTE version?

When you connect your scooter to the ninebot app, what version does it say your scooter is? It should be visible under your connected devices in the app (top right). Mine says 'Ninebot KickScooter Max G30' under my scootername. If you run this app and connect for the first time, make sure not to do the firmware update! Enjoy your scooter brother!

my G30 goes 30 - 31 km/h as it came with the original firmware. so i wonder how much this is worth doing. NOTE: i just can go 30-31 km/h on the sport setting even when the battery is almost drained it still keeps up to a solid 28-29 km/h.

I hacked my Segway es2 and it spins the front wheel on acceleration can pull me up hills it wouldn't fit before

@@johndosh6832 mine is 2nd gen also. Mine used to go 19mph and now it does 23mph (I am light) it's not a huge speed increase but it's definitely noticeable and tbh I wouldn't really want to go any faster 🤣 i also noticed the throttle response is way better

I’ve bought Ninebot Kickscooter Max g30p and it was US region out of box (30 kph). So i am 115 kg dressed and it drives me 31 easily. What is the point of dragster firmware? Will it help to break 31 kph limit?

I did it on mine and it did extend the range from 25mi to 35 mi range. No speed difference though.

I’ll use US settings now.. there are no problem keeping 30km/h when the battery is fully charged, but the speed drops when the battery is reducing.. hope you understand what I mean!

Worked for me. I live in Texas so my max was already in the US region and already went 32 without the cfw. The cfw improved the top speed from 32 to 36kph. It was a minor improvement but I can feel and see the difference. I hope I can still go at least 20 miles in sports mode now.

I did it on my 2nd gen and got 21 -22 mph. It's definitely worth it. And I still got like 30 miles without braking a lot.

YO I have been using a custom firmware for 6 months now with no problems! but I use just 25A instead of the 37A here because I felt that it was too much. The defaults 25 so I just left it at that and it's fine and I get top speed of 23 or 24 mph but I am light depends on your weight. It's safe so feel free to use

Why are you reflashing the rom? Putting settings at US region already puts the device on 30km/h. Now you changed your serial number and put different firmware (lost your warranty) and your speed is still 30km/h

If you are in Australia changing the setting to US does nothing. The re-flash works however...30kph not just 25kph and better torque/acceleration.

На холостых газ давид и спидометр показывает 31 км.час ))))))).Да спидометр с обычной версией MAX G30 на холостой 35 км.час показывает а при езде соответственно уже под нагрузкой 25 км.час.Развод это всё ! Не видитесь люди на это, проблем наделаете только с этой прошивкой.
