What app do you use to open ninebotflasher on windows? When I click on the file I get a box asking if I want to use word, media player notepad or browse apps on Microsoft store.
It's really hard to brick it, it doesn't really brick like smartphones do, it's more that you may get an error code, but then all you have to do is just flash it back On phone it's just 1 click to flash it back to original
My son scored a Eglide D150 from Santa Xmas just past. It's an awesome Scooter. Dual motors and in too gear using both motors it does 36km/ph, no mods or hacks or Apps needed. It's just what it does straight from the shop, Brand New. 😁👍
Quick question. Can you use the Segway app to control the scooter like turning off cruise control, locking your scooter, etc.. after hacking it ? And doing so will it change back to your normal frame wire.
This is a great commute scooter. After like 1 week with this one I realize I might buy a new one which go 45km/h. Of course I wont ride that fast most of the time but going 35 and being able to keep 30km/h to work will be awesome!

Leon I like the speed and power on the WW. Just sketchy when the ground is a little damp and has stones. It doesn’t really cut into the ground. I found that the back end likes to skid out often if you don’t keep your wits about you. I had a go on the x11 the other day and the wheels are kinda the same so you find that you have to be so careful cornering.
Bill Cipher I’m sorry to hear that. It’s strange that it won’t charge. I’ve had this issue. But maybe unplug the control board like when you assembled it. And then put it back on
@@billcipher801 i had the same shit, bro. I have max g30LE and it didn't charge after flashing. I managed to solve this problem by going to original segway app and it instantly proposed me to update the firmware. I did that and it helped, thanks god!
After unssuccessful flash my Max has error 19. Screen switches off after turning it on and when keeping the button it shows error 19. Is it difficult to fix?

Hey, so i left the torque as from the factory as I didn't want to get my motor hotter and lose extra range. However, you can play around with the AMPS to see what you find better for you.

You can use the whole range that you see, it just will get hot over time and could damage. If you want to up the torque. Do it in little increments until you are happy 😊
Do you get 20-25 miles with the mod or without the mod? Im 100kg and just got g30e II its coming within 2 days. Its gonna be my first scoter so im not sure what to expect. Im hoping to get 5 more kph with mod and hopefully have like 25-30km range. Is that possible? Its with gen1 motor.
Just ordered 2 max g30lp’s. What speed did you get it to after flashing? Also had you heard anything on an external battery for the max. I saw one for the es2 but not sure if they fit the max
chris ashley awesome :). I got gen 1 motor so max speed I can get is around 19 mph for short period when battery full. The only way to get more speed is to upgrade the motor then battery.
Thatguywiththe 45 welcome. :). At this time I’m not going to be changing the battery as people are asking beyond ridiculous prices. You will also need to make sure you have 2nd gen motor otherwise changing the battery won’t help
Richard Skead if you are referring the the flasher app. You do not need to have this open once it’s been flashed. I find the app that comes with the scooter useless 😂
Richard Skead my scooter already came with 18mph top speed. This will only really work if you have limit of 15mph. Gen 2 motor will go a little fast. I am waiting on mine to see the difference.
let me tell you about the last option you got current based throttle to me is the best option it will your scooter go faster without having to change any other option i will only change (motor starting speed to 2 ) i got a es2 and it goes 21mph

Technically you will be out of warranty as you are modifying the scooter beyond factory specs, however, if your scooter is 25kmh but your regin allows you to have 30kmh, the shop should be able to do this. In reality, the shop wont really check the software unless you give them good reason.

As I understand it is posibility to reset all my modifications and scooter software must be the same like it was before. And they could not be able to see that it was modified before? As long as you change the files back if the scooter has to go in for any repairs it should be fine. But it's very unlikely that they will scheck the software on the scooter. Unless you have a very picky shop. As for the new update on the scooter hacking site, I havn't had a look in a good while, however, I do need to do an updated video.

I did the flashing and everything else worked, but i didnt get any more speed.. Its gen1 scooter. 27kmh before flash and 27kmh after flash. Do i need gen2 motor to get that 33kmh?
Hey there, I tried doing this today.. it seems the site where you get the file from has changed.. it doesn’t allow me to select what app I’m using on pc. And there are 4 or 5 files to choose from at the end. I’m a little worried I grab the wrong file. Ninebot max gen1 and using PC with ninebot flasher app. Any suggestions?
I’m guessing this will be different depending on where you are. Here in the UK, private owners are not permitted to ride them out of private property. So with us we would have major issues. However if a car hits us they will be in the blame too. So it’s very much a grey area.
Same for me, well actually went from 25kmh to 27kmh but I think thats coz i didn’t change the current settings (Torque settings removed in latest update). Why are there two settings to enter max current? What should we set it to?
I'm not actually sure on this one. I'm in the UK, and they haven't permitted the use of rental scooters yet. However, I would say that if you purchase them from the rental company, they should come unlocked.

When charging, one is showing it at screen and pulsating rear light, another scooter shows black screen only, but it's charging and working perfectly. I tried update or downgrade software, but same black screen. I heard from other people that this is normal.

What is the difference between speed based throttle and DPC? Edit: one thing I noticed is that since I made the new update, my G30LP won't do much over 24 on flat surfaces and I have to push it up slight hills. Did I do something wrong. I believe mine has the Gen 2 motor if that helps.
Your first question, I'm not sure, I need to research this. I tend to leave it as default. As for the over 24, did you make sure to increase the speed to over 45kmh on the settings? If you didn't, this might have capped your speed to be slower.

I was searching same thing for months for my f40e. I found something for several models from F series but it's not a big boost. Just to 30km/h - it was limited to 25
This 👆is where i found it. Dude posted a link to the needed apk (it's doable only via android phone) and he wrote step by step how to do it. It's very simple process I know it's not too much - only to 30km/h - but it's better than nothing. You'll definitely feel the difference

My scooter is 30km/h and i used ur method to flash it and it’s now 33km/h, which i don’t mind. Tbh i only wanted the kick start to be 2, and it changed the whole thing, but it doesn’t ride smooth anymore when it gets to 33km/h, it makes noise, it’s not the same. Hey. Have you tried changing the name of your scooter and trying again? Also if you downloaded the latest Ninebot update. This would cause your scooter to not be able to be flashed

You’re welcome. And thank you :). I’ve just looked that scooter up and the specs do look very impressive for the price. My only concern is reliability. The Max has got a reputation and was built for the rental market. Also there is a 20km difference in the range roughly. I like to be able to go the distance when I go for a scoot when most people just use for commuting.
Would you recommend using the quadratic acceleration and if so do i keep the rising coeffiecient the default 300 or what, or should i just keep it flat

Hi, I tried to flash my G30 by following your instructions - I also tried with SN change and region change in flashing app but the only thing that happens is that drive mode max speed increases from 20 to 26 km/h, nothing happens with sport mode - it stays at 26 km/h. Shouldn't it work like that - D stays on 20 km/h and S increases to 30-33 k/h? Do you maybe have an idea what could be done in here?
I’m not sure what’s causing this. I do need to do an update on how to flash from start to finish. D mode will change once flashed. But S mode should go up to 30KPH once flashed.
@@ScootLetsGo Thanks for reply! I discovered something - the battery was charged to around 60% initially. I could ride with 25km/h on S then. Today I charged the battery and on 80% it reaches 28km/h on D and S. So two things basically - seems like the Vmax drop is strongly connected with battery lvl (too much I guess when it is 5km/h less on 60% battery - sth could be done with that?); second thing is why Vmax on D also increases and equals to S? I though D stays at 20 km/h and only S should be touched by flashing?

Hey! Unfortunately in the UK we do not currently have rental scooters. So I wouldn't know without looking at one what to do. However, I have heard that you can replace the dashboard with another one that you can buy online. :)

Keep pressing the button on your ninebot max. This will connect it to your laptop.
The app on your computer will then start.

Do you currently have the GEN-1 motor? If you go for the GEN-2 you will be able to sustain 30KPH. Also, you could flash it to go a little faster.

chris ashley mine came out the box with 18.6. Most are limited to 15.5.

I’ve used windows and the Xiaoflasher app and have had no problems with any of them. However, some people do experience this issue

Mine now gets to 33 kmp in 2 seconds from standstill,needs more top speed and this scooter would be excellent
To get more speed, you would need to up voltage with an extra battery if you haven't already got the Gen2 motor. :)

You can flash it to default settings. It will show you in the presets on the CFW.

Hey. So you can optimise the range and get more but you have to lower the power which if you live in an area with hills you will have to start pushing

Gen 1 you get more torque, better for hills. Gen 2 you get slightly more speed.

It should be full charge to reach max speed 32 or 33 kph..80% below will just give you 27 or 28 kph

Full charge i get 27-28kmh. 80% it goes about 25kmh. Gen1 motor. But i think i got more torque 🤔😁
Gen1 motor, you won't get much more than 19mph out of it without upping the voltage.
Hey there, I tried doing this today.. it seems the site where you get the file from has changed.. it doesn’t allow me to select what app I’m using on pc. And there are 4 or 5 files to choose from at the end. I’m a little worried I grab the wrong file. Ninebot max gen1 and using PC with ninebot flasher app. Any suggestions?

I’m guessing this will be different depending on where you are.
Here in the UK, private owners are not permitted to ride them out of private property. So with us we would have major issues. However if a car hits us they will be in the blame too.
So it’s very much a grey area.
i did these instructions as you posted and i just tried the scooter out and its still at 25Kph, will i need a full charge as its made no difference
If your charge is below 80% and your on gen 1 motor. It will not go any faster

I'm not actually sure on this one. I'm in the UK, and they haven't permitted the use of rental scooters yet. However, I would say that if you purchase them from the rental company, they should come unlocked.

depending on what you did, you may have burnt out the controller. did you turn on the scooter?

@@tomaz62 same to me. We have two new ninebots with 1st gen motor and not hacked. When charging, one is showing it at screen and pulsating rear light, another scooter shows black screen only, but it's charging and working perfectly. I tried update or downgrade software, but same black screen. I heard from other people that this is normal.

Edit: one thing I noticed is that since I made the new update, my G30LP won't do much over 24 on flat surfaces and I have to push it up slight hills. Did I do something wrong. I believe mine has the Gen 2 motor if that helps.
Your first question, I'm not sure, I need to research this. I tend to leave it as default.
As for the over 24, did you make sure to increase the speed to over 45kmh on the settings? If you didn't, this might have capped your speed to be slower.

Unfortunately not. The only way to get more speed is to upgrade the the motor to second generation. I’m deciding if it’s worth the investment.

I was searching same thing for months for my f40e.
I found something for several models from F series but it's not a big boost. Just to 30km/h - it was limited to 25

It's very simple process

My scooter is 30km/h and i used ur method to flash it and it’s now 33km/h, which i don’t mind. Tbh i only wanted the kick start to be 2, and it changed the whole thing, but it doesn’t ride smooth anymore when it gets to 33km/h, it makes noise, it’s not the same. Is it normal or got something is it gonna damage my battery
Did you lower the torque?
If you did, this will give you more of a push when you start off and that means it's a little less smooth.

Also if you downloaded the latest Ninebot update. This would cause your scooter to not be able to be flashed

Sure you can flash it to that speed. Or use one of the 3 speed settings.

I’ve just looked that scooter up and the specs do look very impressive for the price.
My only concern is reliability. The Max has got a reputation and was built for the rental market.
Also there is a 20km difference in the range roughly.
I like to be able to go the distance when I go for a scoot when most people just use for commuting.

Hi, I tried to flash my G30 by following your instructions - I also tried with SN change and region change in flashing app but the only thing that happens is that drive mode max speed increases from 20 to 26 km/h, nothing happens with sport mode - it stays at 26 km/h. Shouldn't it work like that - D stays on 20 km/h and S increases to 30-33 k/h? Do you maybe have an idea what could be done in here?
I’m not sure what’s causing this. I do need to do an update on how to flash from start to finish.
D mode will change once flashed. But S mode should go up to 30KPH once flashed.
@@ScootLetsGo Thanks for reply! I discovered something - the battery was charged to around 60% initially. I could ride with 25km/h on S then. Today I charged the battery and on 80% it reaches 28km/h on D and S. So two things basically - seems like the Vmax drop is strongly connected with battery lvl (too much I guess when it is 5km/h less on 60% battery - sth could be done with that?); second thing is why Vmax on D also increases and equals to S? I though D stays at 20 km/h and only S should be touched by flashing?

Your top speed will be limited depending on the gen motor you are running. To get more speed you need more volts. Or gen 2 motor

Which scooter was that? Some scooters like the Wolf has a restriction wire.

Hey! Unfortunately in the UK we do not currently have rental scooters. So I wouldn't know without looking at one what to do. However, I have heard that you can replace the dashboard with another one that you can buy online. :)
