g65 rear and front suspension, makes riding far more comfortable compared to the g30 without it. if I had to choose between the two, I would go with the g65.
I started with a G30 in 2021 - it blew out (internal wiring harness, controller, motor) 3 month out of warranty... I was 120 kg and G30 only rated for 100 kg... I'm now 110 kg and LOVING the G65 - so much so - when my first G65E got stolen 9-10 days ago - I went out and got another one yesterday 27/03). G65 is like a completely different vehicle - less slowing down to go over sudden gaps in footpath - makes it up hills the G30 couldn't - I'm happy with 25 km/h - but I WANT CRUISE CONTROL. I just tried to connect my iPad and got in with the iOS app - but same firmware as I see from Android! (note - I've decided I'm going to try and fix the G30 myself - Scooter Hut wanted $990 to repair).

So my Ninebot Max does 30-32kph max on flat ground (Scooterhack unlocked), it's a 350W motor. I believe the Ninebot G65 Max has a 500W motor, if so it surprises me that the max speed attainable is also 32kph. Is there a reason why it can't go faster than the very similar Ninebot Max, with that extra 150W of power?
Hi Pat, I did that, but now I can't connect to the scooter, because there's is already someone connected to this serial number. And since now I lost control of it, cannot reverse it and connect it again to the iap. How can I reverse this?
After serial number change Segway-Ninebot app on iOS recognises G65E scooter (Max 2) as G30 (Max 1) and suggests to upgrade firmware to v1.8.7. Everything else works correctly.
@@TechManPat Agree. This fix doesn't increase the power, just removes a limiter. My scooter after this tip doesn't accelerate or go up hills any better, but it's quicker on the flat.

Hello. How are you. I recently bought a used segway ninebot g30 max. But the previous owner had moved to the phillipines. So now I have no way of contacting him. I'm was wondering if you knew how I can factory reset the scooter to where it will erase the previous owners account. I've been trying to figure out how to and I even talked to segway. But they said that they are unable to help me because I don't have proof of purchase. I have heart failure with 10 percent heart function with a blood clot in my heart. I purchased this scooter so that I can get to my cardiologist appointments that I've already been missing. So if there's any information on how to get it unblinded or if you knew anyone else. Tell me please. I bought it in Norway not long ago Ninebot F2.But its maximum speed is limited for Norway to 20 km/h. I can't remove restrictions even after XiaoDesh app. The application tells me that this action is only available for the global version. Help me please, I haven't tried your method yet.
@@TechManPat Tried my dauther's iPhone (she works for Apple) and same deal there - firmware 1.5.12... Android : 1.5.12, iPadOS : 1.5.12, iOS on iPhone (12 or 13) : 1.5.12... I should hit up JB-HiFi as they're talking that feature up as a selling point (and touted for December 2022!!!). I just fixed my G30 yesterday and it's got cruise control and I miss that feature so much!
Tried your IAP change serial number - tested it... Got 32 km/h but I panicked when 3 times I tried to reset it back to original Serial # and it wasn't working... Finally got there... Phew... But DEFO want cruise control... I'll be commuting 15 km each way at least once a week and really really miss cruise control...
I don't know about any of that jazz, but the G65's nominal power is slightly more beefed up at 450W, compared to the G30's 350W, if that's of any interest to you =P ✌
Is it possible to change it to an individual limit. i.e. 27km/h because in AustRIA we have an additional legal tolerance of 10% to the 25km/h. Thank you in advance!

Sometimes you have to press read again, but also make sure when you first connect you also press power button to confirm connection

I have the same serial N4GPD Europe. After the flash the drive mode go 20km/h to 25km/h but the sport mode don't change

No, the this is an artificial limit, so the rating is based on the USA specs.

So I changed the to S from I as my 4th letter was I? And it doesn’t go 32 but it has changed the serial number ? Do you know why?
Im not sure, sorry, best to reset and try again... Again it depends on your starting region.

I was unable to get the cruise control firmware update on either Android or iOS (iPAd mini - I don't have an iPhone)....
iPad should work fine, but android doesnt have it yet, wierdly enough, so maybe iPad might not... can you try iPhone with a friend?

Can pretty much 100% confirm they’re using Gen 2 motors for this model. Have seen a few and they’re all Gen 2.
