As the proud owner of a CT6-V Blackwing Cadillac, I've got to say this car is a hidden gem. It's the perfect blend of luxury and performance you wouldn't expect. The comfort level is top-notch; my wife can attest to that. She loves the smooth, comfortable rides, whether we're cruising through the city or embarking on a long road trip.
But the real kicker? This car can move. When I want to feel the power, it's there, ready to unleash at a moment's notice. It's a "sleeper" vehicle, which means it surprises everyone with its speed and agility when it counts.
I won't sugarcoat it-the gas economy isn't excellent. But let's be honest, that's not why you buy a car like this. You buy it for the experience, the limited production value, and the sheer joy it brings whenever you get behind the wheel. It's a car that's not just about getting from point A to point B; it's about how it makes you feel on that journey.
I plan to keep this beauty for the rest of my life. It's not just a car; it's a statement, a piece of art, and an experience that I look forward to every single day. And that, my friends, is "smiles per mile."

Just bought my 2020 CT6-V Blackwing!!! Had to fly from Denver to Cincy to get it! Took it outta the shop and drove around for about an hour and a half. Once it was warm I engaged the Manual mode. Going down a slight incline, from redlining first and shifting into second, the car felt like it was airborne. Scared TF outta me and my passenger! That's when I KNEW this RARE AF beast was my new whip! Torquey, sleeper luxury sedan! AWD in Denver vs. manual was a difficult concession. But I couldn't be happier. I drove the CT5vs and 4s. Mine has more comfort, features, back seat room, and rarity than either of those models. AND, it's almost as fast as the 5. Murdering out the chrome and logos is next. Brilliant ride!!

Scared TF outta me same! Use to speed but this got me and my passenger, then I let my nephew drive it same! Don't regret buying this car!

I had the 2020 v6 for 2 months and spoke to a few people about my car and was told about the V ,I was shy about the possibilities of turbo maintenance and brake downs, but after test driving the V8 ,I sold my V6 and brought a 2020 V
If the car returns to production in the US, I'd probably upgrade.
I would rather have a CT6 V than vette or camaro. It's all a old man could ask for style, power & class.

Just picked up a Black one. I love driving it and to be honest am losing sleep because I wanna get back in to it first thing the next morning. I am coming from a 2014 Vsport and this took it to a whole new experience. Great review on this perfect beast!

If I owned a CT6 V I think I would do the same thing. Is definitely an awesome car. I’m hoping to get another chance to drive one someday in the future. Thank you for taking the time to watch and I appreciate your kind words. Have a great day!

I have a CT6-V Black on black. Love the car moved up from a CTS always wanted a V car but couldn't have RWD only in PA. Love the 4 wheel steering mag res suspension, drives like a dream and is actually a bargain at what is can do. Too bad they only made 720 Blackwing V's. Actually faster than my 2003 Z06, but I can arrive and comfort and get out of it when I arrive at my destination. The Audi engineer that designed it was a genius, too bad GM let him get away.

I drive a 2020 CT6 V. If you don’t turn off the automatic shut off of the engine every time you get in the car, there will be a hesitation before it launches from a stop. Prob the only thing I give a thumbs down to. I just wish it was a setting you could keep permanently off :-)

Hey, do you think you can review a 2020 GMC Sierra soon? If so, do you think you might find the module box under the steering dash and find out if you can unplug the auto stop feature there, whether or not you’d like to film that?

I can state unequivocally, those tires are plenty enough. If you are worried about traction, consider that this is an AWD vehicle, not just rear wheel drive. Even using the semi-secret launch control, these tires barely make a noise considering the torque and horsepower. And it will out accelerate a supercharged CTS-V coupe or sedan.
    Ask me how I know.

@@biprgriff You apparently do not have any experience at actually pushing a vehicle on the road. I have a CT6 V and a Lamborghini Huracan. Both re all wheel drive but the CT6 V does not handle anywhere close to what the Huracan does. This is due to the fact that the Huracan evenly distributes the power between all four wheels while the CT6 V does not. The CT6 V can easily get out from under you if you push it hard enough in a turn due to the lack of rubber to help plant the car to the ground.

@@wlp1284also huge difference in weight if you are talking about handling. Tires do some justice but comparing a lower lambo along with weighing like over 1000 pounds less is to a ct6 v is crazy talk.

  • @biprgriff
    @biprgriff 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Launch Control - simple and intuitive. Don’t look for it. Just set “Track Mode”, stand on the brake, floor the throttle, wait for the turbos to spool up a bit, let go of the brake.
