Yeah. I had no trouble reading them either. They’re belgian plates, both the car and the bike. The plate on the bike indicates it’s registered as an oldtimer (starts with O-Mxx-xxx Oldtimer Motorcycle)
Exactly my thoughts. Wo deranged if you could make it where you have a wide U shaped setup hinged at the front, with the axle doing the same thing ut the u shaped arms to go on either side suspend the rest with coils. Basically making a standard coil spring trailing arm suspension but the arms instead of being an A shape or two individual arms underneath, make them a giant U shape to go on each side to keep it low, and then you can retain the axle tilt mechanism. Might add about 80 pounds.
@@brianlanders8028 see those loops on the bar that sways down? you hook your latches to those. so i mean, this video doesn't show us how he ties it down. just how he loads the bike on it.
That's nice . I like it but I'd like to see how he locked the bike down after loading it because just running the front tire in that front piece isn't going to hold it upright looks like they skipped that part of how he locked it down or maybe I missed something
@thomass8362 The bike rises up because the whole trailer platform does. It's nothing more than a lever system to make it easier to load and unload the bike. It still needs to be strapped down in the usual fashion. If you watch when he rolls the bike on the trailer it's license plate is touching the ground. After he lowers the big horseshoe lever the trailer lifts up. The plate is now several inches off the ground.
When I run my bike up into the front wheel, chock it holds the bike from tipping over. Then I can get off and put a couple tie downs on it to keep it from being bounced out of the chock.
The front wheel is held in place by those bars, this alone will allow the bike to stand on its own, but only barely. HOWEVER, you still need to strap the bike down to the trailer (usually 2 in front and 2 in back) to protect against movement during transit.

Front wheel is locked in. There are several 'eyes/rings' welded on that 'down pulling bar' for the use of straps . Perhaps also several attachment points on the bike, not really visible in this vid. The principle/idea for the uplifting chassis is 'the wheeled log arch aka long John' , a device used by loggers to get heavy tree trunks out of the wood.
I like it. Needs massive padding on those loops because someone is going to drop their bike on those bars eventually. They should keep the bike from completely falling over.

You could add 2 spools of nylon string to pull down by the 2 top sides and make it semi auto, have an electric motor, but also a central winch wheel insertion, so you can manually drive the gears when you have no power, also adding the elastic strap lines on the little hook spots you have, would ensure stability while driving, and make the electric or mechanical advantage winch a necessity, but that is for longer drives, you could have snail spring in the middle so you can have the nylon string always slightly tensioned...
