I had that problem with the deadbolt not moving properly when i first started tightening things down and also those color coded adapter things that go inside of the lock was very loose and made it almost impossible to get enough leverage and grip to turn the deadbolt. So i got some double sided tape and put it on the lever bar that the color coded adapter on goes to. And that made it a much better fit and now it works flawlessly. So far I'm really liking the lock but I haven't ran into any problems yet. And also I decided to buy rechargeable batteries that way I wouldn't have to deal with that if it's true that the batteries die really quickly?

That's great to hear! Thank you so much for your feedback :) You can use rechargable batteries, I would be very interested to see how often you need to re-charge them.

Interesting i thought about getting this lock when i was looking for a good lock that would intergrade with home assistant. But the cost and the fact that it uses wifi to intergrate with HA is the 2 reasons why i decided against it. Any battery operated wifi device will go through batteries quickly. I finally settled on one called ULTRALOQ the zwave version. At the time amazon had it on sale for 169 USD so i got 3 of them for my outside doors and have had them for about 7 months now and love them. They use standard AA batteries which even after 7 months have 74 % power for the lowliest one. Has all the features and have not had one single problem with them.
