Other notes when looking through the Alola Pokédex: - You'll finally be able to obtain Oshawott in L:A! I guess you're going to use it for the Rowlet line. - Totem Stickers will help skip grinds for Gumshoos and Lurantis (gifts [no trading in stickers required afaik] after collecting 20 and 50 stickers respectively in Ultra Sun - also Araquanid if you get to it before Malie Garden, requiring you to have collected 40 in Ultra Moon) - Type: Null is in a weirdly early place in the Pokédex - you can only get it after becoming Champion! Thankfully, USUM have no required catches - not even Nebby or Necrozma. - Finally, we have another Mythical that you can obtain normally! (from what I understand, Magearna can be obtained via QR code in Sun and Moon, though you need to have become Champion first)
iirc in a previous video he mentioned that his GO account already has a melmetal, so obtaining another meltan won't actually be a problem for him i think
Really enjoying these! I really dont think a month for these is all that long a wait, lots of grinding to do and then lots of footage to go through and edit.

I really think it would be a reasonable change to give yourself unlimited rare candies in these. I guess part of this challenge is the endurance, but surely it's more convenient to use candies rather than spend hours fighting the elite 4. Great videos btw!
Gen 7 honestly doesn’t seem all too bad In terms of problems Because the main problems would be the Tapus, coming before the box legends. Then cosmog and cosmoem. Then poipole. Then melmetal But because I’m USUM being able to just walk right past necrozma on mt lanakila, you can get the tapus fine, then I’m pretty sure you can get cosmog right after that from the altar of the sunne/moone. But then it’s the fact you need to play through USUM completely to do that to avoid a catching the box legend first. Then you can play SM to get box legend easily. Then it’s a matter of the UBs which won’t be a hassle. But then, poipole will be a pain because you will have already finished ultra megalopolis, unless there’s a failsafe I’ve forgotten abt to get it after anyway. Oh then repeat the Noibat evolution process for Melmetal. Alola won’t be difficult, just painful Oh also before all this. The game has to be completed to receive type null, in both sm and usum So yeah, Alola suuuucks But still doesn’t hold a candle to how the hell you’re getting the gen 8 box legends before eternatus That I’m looking forward to

If your boxes are full you can wait to get Poipole. That's how people shiny hunt it quicker because there's less dialogue when you come back. Same with Type:Null, though I'm not sure where in the dex that one is so idk how much of a problem it will be. The biggest hurdle for Poipole at least will be completely filling every box :')
@@fiiyve You actually don't have to worry about full boxes for Poipole. You can just say no to getting it when they offer and then come back whenever you want and they'll offer it again. Sadly you do have to have full boxes for Type Null though. But that probably won't be a problem for this challange cause it comes before the legendaries in the pokedex, so it'll be fine if he plays in USUM

some other things you could have used to speed up noibat was a dragon or flying mega, they give more candy chance with the effect being stronger with the higher tiers, if youre missing a mega pokemon to use and you cant do raids by yourself easily you could also use pokegenie to join a remote raid, getting a remote raid pass for free is definitely doable just requires some modest effort, also if you have a spare tablet or old phone i highly recommend using an alt account and just trading noibats and getting 2 candy instead of 1, i wouldnt really bother trying to go for the distance bonus it can be hard if you dont have an easy way to get pokemon from far away like that. also you dont happen to have a link for that phone pendulum do you 👀

The qr code island scan stuff is so much fun I collected multiple codes off of random products to scan in
Meltan isnt very difficult at all, as you dont have to walk around, and you can force the spawns.

Will you turn all this into one video at the end? I think it can get millions of views if u keep it long but not too long as nobody’s ever done it and it’s a cool and interesting concept that would intrigue people to click and see how it’s done
Yeah I am planning on doing so, still torn about whether or not I will wait until Legends Z-A comes out before doing the gen 9 video but will have to see when it gets a release date
