  • Is the Google Pixel 6a the best value smartphone you can buy in 2023? It offers flagship grade cameras, clean software and Google's refreshed design.
It can also be found at some pretty competitive prices, so let's take a look:

Its interesting to use the 6a again. I upgraded to 7a but have kept 6a as a spare. ive noticed a couple of things better on the 6a. Haptic screen and screen responsiveness is superior on the 6a. Vibrator is nore powerful. Call quality is better sounding more natural and although noise is higher the colours for the camera are better when taking photos of artificial Christmas lights. The battery drain is better. The screen colours are ever so slightly better on the 6a. 7a has Superior camera resolution and 90hz. Finally signal quality is higher on the 6a which is odd given it uses an older chip.

I prefer plastic. It is superior in every way to glass/metal because it won't shatter and still can have wireless charging. And it can feel premium as the Google Pixel 7a can prove

Got my 6a on sale for $299 at Best Buy and still love mine in 2024. Initially it got so warm which made me nervous but it seems to have improved since the Android 14 update. 60Hz doesn't bother me at all, I don't notice nor care about that stuff. I do miss Samsung's AMOLED screen, though. I appreciate that this is a compact-sized phone since I hate giant phones. If Google would use Samsung's AMOLED screen then it would be THE perfect phone for me. Can't believe I can get almost flagship-quality pictures for $299. What a steal!

Great value,I've seen them brand new for £299 in several places. As for the battery life, not really good enough these days but I guess that's never stopped millions of iPhone users.
Your new intro is a lot better by the way,the old one often used to drown out what you were saying.

Yeah, fantastic phone I loved it, but that battery life had me anxious when using it 😅. Which bit do you mean? Not sure I've changed it in a while 🤣

The 6a even now in early 2024 is a great phone. Especially if you catch it on sale. Because you basically get an almost flagship experience for less. People complained so much about the 60 hertz display but it always worked smoothly for me. The battery was surprisingly solid too getting 6 hours of sot with me always being on a mobile data connection. Overall it's a great premium feeling device that is quite a bit more inexpensive than most phones. It isn't perfect but when you consider the price and value it provides it's definitely still worth it.

I agree, a really great overall phone. You do notice going to a 60hz from say a 90 or 120hz display, but I'd say that was the only negative, if you even wanna call it that. An awesome phone overall 👍

Love the phone but I can't agree on the fingerprint sensor. About 20% of the time I have to enter a code. Very annoying. Funny, I owned a 3, 3a and a 4a with no issues and then this phone comes along. If it wasn't such a gem in all other aspects, I would have already replaced it.

Nice, I’ve tested quite a few pixels and really enjoy using them. I guess I got lucky with the fingerprint on mine 😂

@@whysoserious4464 I am not saying it's bad but they didn't even mention in the video that it's just fine, same as you said it. Also the reviewers are to show us what's the best and what's just fine so we can decide based on our preferences.
