This almost turned out like a croissant texture and didnt absorb any oil. I used oat milk and olive oil instead of milk and butter because I didnt have any. Thank you so much for the amazing recipe

I made this and it turned out super tasty just a few things that happened were: The dough was too hard so i had to add more milk I didnt really know the measurements because it was in grams With that said it was a lot but super worth it. It ended super tasty

Made these donuts today. Till date, all my donuts would have a hard tough exterior and not so soft. But these were perfect. I tripled the Quantity. It gave me 24 humongous size donuts. Will definitely make it smaller next time. But let me let you, these donuts were soft, delicious and perfect. Worth the time and effort❤️
I've try this recipe today & it was the BEST recipes that I ever try !!!. I ran out of the bread flour so I'm just using the all purpose flour & I add a bit of bread softener/improver. I believe that it will still turn out great if you only using the APF

I actually made these doughnuts about a month ago but I forgot to comment about how it went. They were actually as fluffy as shown in the video and didn’t even have air pockets like when i used other recipes. But they weren’t that sweet on their own, which made sense as you added sugar on the surface of them. Now that I’m making them a second time, I think I’ll double the sugar or something and hope I don’t ruin it😩

@@humi191 hey I'm so sorry for replying late. Mine turned out quite fluffy I'd say. But I live in a place where doughnut is not a very common food item. So you understand, my standard is the one or two times I ate it from a random local bakery. But it tasted good and soft. Only thing is that, I didn't get a very clear ring around after frying them. I am doubtful if its for the flour at all. Hope I could help. Let me know how yours turned out. Stay safe! :)

They turned out good but I think they’d had been better if I had a temperature probe thing since they came out a lil crispy outside some of them did :o But it was fun to try I usually sell baked goods on insta so I wanted to try frying something for once haha
Forgot to put sugar in the dough and now they taste like bagels 😭😭😭😭😭 They still tastes great though. Definitely want to try again a second time with less distractions lol

Doughnut Recipe: Ingredients: * 190g Milk * 7g Instant Dry Yeast * 35g White Sugar * 7g Salt * 1 Whole Egg * 350g Bread Flour (Other flour should do just fine) * 40g Butter * Extra sugar to coat the doughnuts in 1. (0:14) Add the milk and instant dry yeast into a bowl and whisk together 2. (0:33) Add the sugar and salt and whisk till combined 3. (0:48) Add the egg and whisk until combined 4. (0:59) Add the flour into the bowl and gently fold in until combined 5. (2:00) Knead the dough lightly and leave to rest for 15min (make sure to place a tea towel over the dough anytime it is set to rest) 6. (2:20) Take the dough out of the bowl and place onto a clean surface top. Add butter to the dough and knead in until fully combined (watch this section of the video to see how to knead the dough properly) 7. (3:53) For 5-7min knead the dough as seen in the video (must follow this specific technique) 8. (4:14) Leave the dough to rise until it is 2-3 times the size it was (roughly 1 hour) 9. (4:41) Divide the dough into 7 pieces, or however many you want, and round out each piece 10. (5:32) Let the dough rise for another 15min 11. (5:45) Create your desired doughnut shape 12. (6:27) Leave the dough to rise for another 1 hour 13. (6:38) Heat a pan full of oil until it reaches 180°C (356°F) 14. You can keep them in an air tight container, as any type of bread you should eat them the day you make them, after a day donuts tent to become dense and stale but still tasty. I'd say you can keep them for two days at most

15. (9:12) let the doughnuts cool and coat them in sugar

It was my first time baking donuts last Saturday and they were so satisfying, the donuts are so so yummy ❤️😋😋 Me and my kids have just finished up the last 3 pcs this morning (it has been the 3rd day) and they are still so soft and not oily at all unlike those store bought donuts which usually turn hard the next day. I just wanna say thank you so much for your recipe @MOMMY OVEN , it was a great first time and shall bake again soon! Note to first timer: the whole process took many hours but it’s worth the wait, best freshly baked donuts ever according to my kids 😊

You can keep them in an air tight container, as any type of bread you should eat them the day you make them, after a day donuts tent to become dense and stale but still tasty. I'd say you can keep them for two days at most
