Trying times jeff ,iwent through a similar thing with my mother 3yrs ago so I know how you feel my friend, nice updates on the bikes, and what a nice way of remembering your parents with their names on the bikes ,I hope you get the fuel problem sorted. Wishing you all the best jeff
Hi Martin and thank you very much. I am much clearer in the head now, as I know that both my Mum and Uncle are being kept comfortable. I don't mind what I spend on the Suzuki, within reason, I just wish it would run properly. I haven't told the wife, but I have managed to get a brand new old stock petcock. It cost £200, but at least that should work. Take care, Jeff
Good to see you back Jeff nice to see your grandchild ive got 8 grandchildren youngest 2 oldest 16 nice job on the carb rebuild and best wishes to your uncle and mum 👍👍👍👍
Hi Alan and thank you very much. Congratulations on your 8 grandchildren. I am having problems with just the one at the moment. I have managed to get a new old stock Petcock, as it is next to impossible to get parts for them. I won't tell the wife, but it was £200. All I want to do is get it running nicely like the previous orange one. Take care, Jeff
Spend as much time with your mum as possible. Tell Jean your subscribers are thinking of her and send their love. Fred and Jean raised a fantastic son. A big hello to Jenny and the rest of the family. Take care of yourself Jeff and stay strong.
Hi Roy and thank you very much. I have a much clearer mind now and prepared for the inevitable. My mum was talking yesterday, so I will relay the love from my subscribers. I felt guilty that I couldn't see my Uncle as much as I would have liked when he was at home, I had to prioritise my mum. He is in the ward downstairs from my mum so I can see both of them on one visit. Love from Jenny, she's in the garden with me now Take care, Jeff
Hey Jeff.....touching to name the bikes after your parents. Thanks for the updates...... good haul of parts there. The bikes are looking fresh. Ive said it before but you have a reall attention to detail. Thanks as always for taking the time to produce content especially when you have so much on your mind. Wishing you and your family well.
Hi Adam and thank you. I feel a lot clearer in the head at the moment. I know my mum is comfortable, but waiting for the inevitable. The Suzuki is a bit of a pain, it was supposed to be a rolling restoration. I haven't told the wife, but I managed to get a new old stock Petcock. It cost £200, but I have seen them a lot more. If I can refurbish the old one, I may be able to sell it to get some money back. Thank you so much for watching. Take care, Jeff
Jeff Stay strong thats all you can do i went through the same with my late mum its hard its life hi to the lovely jenny girl and could your trouble with the bike be the throtle slide needle has you may know you can also ajust these to let in more or less fuel worth a look Take care mate😊 Phil in stoke
Hi Phil and thank you. My mind is a lot clearer at the moment. My mum is being kept comfortable and she has seemed a bit more with it. My Uncle seems worse with a blood infection. At least I can see both at the same visit. I did try and lower the needle, but have put it back to neutral for the time being. I won't tell the wife, but I have managed to get hold of a new old stock petcock, it's still in its original packing. It cost £200, but I will know that there shouldn't be any problems with it. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff, hope your well, my thoughts are with you for your Mum and your uncle. Shame about the FZ50 having running issues, looks like good quality parts from Denmark £7 for parts and shipping that is good. Hope you sort the FZ50 soon, look after your self and have some time for your self, I'll catch you soon take care mate
Hi Shaun, I hope you are well. I haven't been able to see my Uncle that much at his home, due to work and having to put my Mum first. Now that they are both in the same hospital I can visit both together. My mum seems better than my Uncle, he keeps hallucinating and thinks he is in hospital in Germany. I was hoping to be out and about by now with the Suzuki. I don't mind what I spend on it as long as it eventually goes. I have managed to get a new old stock petcock, I won't tell the wife, but it was £200. I mentioned in the video how rare they are and can be over £300. I will try and refurbish the old one and maybe get about £60 for it. I feel a lot better mentally, as I know that both Mum and Uncle are being kept comfortable. Take care, Jeff
