Hi Ted, thanks very much, just wish I can get to the bottom of the running rich. I have moved the needle up a couple of notches, but haven't had time to take it for a run yet. Take care, Jeff
Hi Alan and thank you. I tried lifting the clip up on the needle to make it leaner, it's a bit better, but not quite there. I have one last idea, I have a new choke cable and enrichment valve coming. The cable is a little stiff, so thinking the choke cable or valve might not be coming off. Take care, Jeff
Thanks very much Martin, I have another idea for the rich running. I have ordered a new choke cable and valve. There is a possibility that the choke is on slightly. Take care, Jeff
Hey Jeff....cheers for the video.....a few years ago I bought a bike ramp......mate at our age we need it doing stuff on our knees and back is not good..... maybe a worthwhile investment? Cheers for the video as usual .......really appreciated
Hi Adam and thanks for watching. I did look at getting a ramp a couple of years ago, but space was an issue. Obviously that shed has gone, it might just work in the new shed. Once finances permit I will certainly get one Thanks again. Take care, Jeff
Hi Jeff Love the video the engine sounds restricted to me I would pour down it some caustic soda if it is this ur engine will run rich and it sounds like it is running rich worth a try mate you are always so busy we will call you Action man hi to jenny 😂😂😂😂 Phil in stoke
Hi Phil, thanks for watching. If it wasn't for the family and work I would be out there all day and not busy at all. Lol I have adjusted the needle towards lean and it sounds a bit better, but as always haven't had time to take it for a run yet. I should of cleaned out the exhaust while it was off, but it seems Ok. Take care, Jeff and love from Jenny girl xx
Hi Jeff, hope your well, that is just what you need is to get on your knees start stripping the engine before going to work. The paint work on the wheel has come out well, did you manage to get a split pin for the nut. Wont be long she will be running well and on the road. As always a great video, catch you soon Take care
Hi Shaun, I hope you are well too. No I couldn't find any split pins or the old one either. I had a mixed box of them arrive yesterday and have put it on this morning. Also just found out that I have a puncture on the rear. It was completely flat this morning, so pumped it up, I tried it when I got home from work and it was still OK. I have ordered two new inner tubes just in case. I have also moved the clip on the needle up a bit to make it leaner, but haven't had time to try it on the road yet. Take care, Jeff
@shaun30-3-mg9zs Thanks Shaun, that's why on this occasion I took it to a proper tyre fitter, never mind the tyre is still up at the moment, hopefully I can go back to it later.
Hi, yes it's not that good, so will have to get another one. The only thing that worries me at the moment, if I soak it in oil it will make getting air into the engine worse. I have moved the needle clip up and it seems a bit better, but I haven't had time to take it for a run due to work. I will see how it is Monday when I'm off. Take care, Jeff
Great work Jeff

Thank you very much, a little bit to do, but at least I don't have a pile of bits in the shed while getting back together again.
Take care, Jeff

Isn't that air filter shot, as it looks like degraded foam to me!
