Easy run any generator on propane or natural gas. I don't recommend running generators without Garretson low pressure regulator.

Propane is actually safer than gasoline. You are more likely to blow up from filling your vehicle with gas, than propane. How I know? I'm a certified hazmat tanker driver

yes it works but there is no safety if the generator stalls, the propane will continue to pump out until you get to it

Because your lights will go out, you will notice and can go and switch the gas off. That tiny bit of lighter than air gas will evaporate very quickly.
