Well, for those that think it will go KABOOM: Notice that he is running the generator OUTSIDE, so any little gas leak will dissipate with the wind and won't get explosive. If he were doing this in an enclosed room, now that's a different story,... but not outside. Big difference!

Good review. I have the 300 watt all metal one of these and have installed the 3000 watt 12 volt version. the fan on yours sounds loud and the 3000 sounds like a jet. the 300 watt is very quite and the fan seldom comes on running a small fridge and a laptop. The 1000 was still made in Tiawan same as the all metal 300 watt. I believe the all metal early models are quieter than the newer plastic housed ones. Yes you can jump the second leg of your panel but that will not run your 220 loads.

nice video. I was thinking of using a tire valve stem. One cut from an old tire intertube. They are tapered and require a smaller hole which means they can easily be fitted like a cork in the hole. Your problem with propane might be the propane manifold pressure usually runs 2-3x higher than nat gas. You might be able to adjust your propane regulator screw hidden under disk down to 4-8oz range lkie natural gas.

At the end of the video when u used the battery and inverter to power the furnace, u said it tripped the inverter gfci. Is that because the neutral and ground are already bonded in your house panel and therfore the inverter also has a neutral bond ground? Cant have two neutral ground bonds in a circuit? My electrical is rookie at best

Obviously you lack all experience with modern high powered flashlights, as well as lithium ion batteries. You have unrealistic expectations. I currently own six TS10 and love them so much I even bought multiples for friends. It’s an amazing feature packed light for this price point. Your video is a lot of complaining simply because you don’t understand the Anduril firmware. Your video is a joke and annoying. A waste of time.

I would suspect that during the video, at the break point and just before the burner is fired up, an air pipe has been buried in the gravel to create this impressive and noisy " natural draft" jet engine flame. I have made a copy of this and there is no way that the intense updraft can be created without using an air blower. I am not impressed with this person's dishonesty.

Best fix I’ve seen this year! Fixed my genny in 5 minutes and didn’t need to buy the $7 rope off Amazon!

2 ideas: weld some plates to outcome pipe to let heat air better. Make income cold air pipe straight to the flame - in order to block sucking warm air from the room, it should let burn better

it will come off, but the fabric will be thin and become a hole in near future after scrubbing. thin cotton t-shirt...good luck. paint or hole?

You can always open up the gas regulator more, it haves a adjustment screw on top of the main gas inlit port! Turn left for more natural gas and right for less! It's that easy. Did you try it years ago?

You spent more in fittings for your back valve and pressure gauge then the $25 tri fuel carb on Amazon that goes on Honda clones and has a demand regulator that will actually stop gas flow of your engine shuts off.

The test of the charger is indeed about the battery as well.. if you dont have a battery that can accept the charge, the battery is whats doing the throttling not the charge controller. And your typical lead acid battery will only accept 30-40 amps even if you connect a 1000amp charger to it. The only way it will take higher current is if you also over volt the battery. If you want to do this test properly you need many lead acid batteries in parallel, at low state of charge. That or you need lithium because they have low internal resistance and can accept hundreds of amps depending on the size of battery. Mine are 420ah 52v lithium and i charge them with victron solar charge controllers at 200amps everyday because thats what im comfortable pushing my bms to, but the battery cells can happily take the full 420amps if i really wanted to. (And if i had that much solar)

Thanks for your video, friend. I want to add this observation to your experiment. I have a couple of Honda EU2000i generators that I rarely use. I filled them with Truefuel on 10/7/20, almost four years ago (today is 8/30/24), intending to change the fuel in two years. I did not drain the carburetors. Well, time got away from me, and I finally decided I'd better test the generators today. It took 10 to 15 pulls of the starting rope to get each one started but they ran smoothly. I'm not going to take the chance again, but thought you'd find this interesting. / Mike

I'm guessing the reason for the 60 amp input limit is because it takes less current on the higher voltage PV input side to give you 100 amps on the lower 12 volt battery output side. I'm sure there is a Wattage component involved.

Of all the systems I’ve reviewed on YT, this is the simplest, and thus I believe is the best. Adding a Tee section and wafer valve further up the pipe (about 1m) will provide control of the air flow and the oil burn rate.

21700 has more amps so the plus should be able to sustain charge alot longer if at the same lumen lower settings

I cannot get the cap off. I push down hard and turn in the direction indicated, but it just goes round and round. Does anyone else have this problem?

Vlad, what kind of cap were you using ? Right now the various ones sold on Amazon i see people warning about the threads not being an exact match and slowly stripping out the threads on the original equipment. Did you notices this happening on yours? Since this was an older post, i figured by now you would know. Any recommendations? I really would like to make mine run longer than the one gallon fuel allowed on board. Appreciate any suggestions you may have.
