I will say that having a narc in my life forced me to see all the people that I had in my life…. That I was wanting validation from. Family can totally suck the life out of you! If you LET THEM,, which I did. Between religion, old behaviors from childhood and just not feeling like enough had me at a complete stand still. This person pushed me to grow and change by not ever wanting to be around them anymore! Parts of me wanted to stay angry…. But for the first time in my life? I am now seeing what self-love looks like! And being by myself? What an idea!!! Like I enjoy being alone right now… and I love it❤️❤️Not at all looking for anyone to try and fill the void. Prayer,, therapy… meditation,, bike riding,, joining some good groups? WOW WHAT a True spiritual awakening! One day maybe I’ll thank the narc??………. Ummmm NOT!!!!
I couldn't care less about their validation. I just wish they'd go away & leave me alone, but even with low or no contact, they're still behind the scenes trying to undermine me, isolate me, smear me, destroy me & everything I care about & gives meaning to my life. Sad but inevitable realization to accept that to exorcize them from my life I need to pretty much start from scratch & reconstruct my whole life. There is no other way.
This sounds like it could've been written by me. The reality is that some people have no limit to how cruel they can be. Imagine the NAZI exterminating Jews. Some people did survive the holocaust. I think we should find meaning in our suffering. It's universal. Just know that with all your suffering, strange as it might sound, what you believe is key. We need to believe that God 😅reigns even in the deepest darkness. I pray for your faith and mine too. God will show us what we think is no longer possible. ❤
