To all of you struggling with returning notifications - just disable your WiFi when installing apks from 'Fix Errors' folder. This way you won't let Google services to contact remote servers prior to having them replaced with their custom versions.

Didn't work for me. The error started after uninstalling the backup file. I kept getting an error message saying there was a newer version available. I am glad it seemed to work for some though

Just got mine, delivered with .137, followed your procedure and no issues at all, no downgrading needed. The only hiccup was at the end, I was getting notifications of not being play protect verified, can't install, but I manually stopped that single notification and everything has been fine. Even migrated my apps over with the Play store, no issue, updated, no issues. Many thanks for your work here. It's crazy how you figured this out. All those steps. I just followed everything you did click for click.
@@RedskullPro Yeah, manually stopped that one and all is working great, no issues. Still transferring my music over phone clone (like 100GB). Next step is to remove the bloatware and then I can actually use the phone.
Edit: restarted a few times, one time in between it stayed on long enough to download a map (which showed a blank space in the select map screen). I restarted the phone a few times and it finally worked. Just no voice prompts. The voice is there, as I did a test, but it won't give prompts.
@@RedskullPro Now that it's all up and running, could I remove Google Account Manager and that G app that has all the Chinese writing? Also maps with voice navigation works, but it requires somehow to have google assistant installed and Google search. Only then was I able to get voice assistance, but even then it was hit or miss

When you say "try 3 or 4 times" should notifications still keep on coming do you mean try again from the begining ? or restart the steps to get rid of the notifications? (10:06) on your video?. I noticed Google frame work is about 355K when installed from the fix error folder. After the errors start to pop it gets to 620K in side. Is that the problem?! Thanks
No.. Just install and uninstalling the service framework and play store apk. Dont forget to Clear cache framework service. Repeat this method until the notification gone.. Good luck brother 😉

@@bongsi6794 but first make sure you downgrade the phone, first format it so its back to factory settings, downgrade the software to a very older software, then install as per the video. This is what i have done

Thanks for a great tutorial. Unfortunately, it does not work on a Huwai P 40 lite. Further inside the installation, the menus change so that it is no longer the same as you show in your Tuturial (Your screen) - When I go to the "Backup process" under Apps and search for "Backup" it does not exist!. But you show it nicely and simply that you should be thankful for.
Works on my Mate 30 Pro LIO-L29. I have downgraded with HISuite. Successful installation. All applications work (except Google news!) Including games with payment via Playstore. The banking applications have validated the security certificates. For the moment that happiness! Thanks to all the developers who participated!
after rebooting 2 time, the notification stopped. i installed many google apps and tested them. google map not works, it just shut down by itself, and ebay not works as well. i will reset my phone again and try again tomorrow. btw, when i install google by this method, i did not factory reset my phone. anyway, thank you again.

For does who have a freeze when trying to uninstall Google Services Framework, keep doing these two steps many times : 1) force stop 2) clear data. And do it again and again until when you clear data the button switch for "recomputing size" for 3-4 seconds. Force stop one last time and then you should be able to uninstall the app :D ! I did this 4 times until the notifications finally disappeared 🎉 Like to push this comment on top 🙏

try again, my p40 lite freeze and reset few times, but on the end all works, I blocked notification with error: "This device isn't play protect certified' and now all works.

i was getting 1 notification also, what i did open the notification swipe left then a little setting button pops up click on it, and unchecked not to get notification.
I had the same issue. I managed to get around it by force stopping, going back in to clear the data then force stopping again. It uninstalled successfully after this

I have a few questions I currently have the p40 pro with the notifications part working flawless I have the Google services required to do bits but doesn't stop functionality of the phone. I would like to sign into google photos somehow, is this possible or will I have to wipe phone and start again and if I do that and sign in to google then change to push or is there a switching app to do this, I just want to backup my photos to google from my old Samsung. I had to repeat the last steps several times till it worked without notifications. Repeat the Steps as shown from minute 10:00 . Be patient. For me this Method worked like a charm. After succesfully installing the google services i did an update back to FW 236 an everything is still working fine.

I got google app store on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro (7inch), absolutely no issues. The phone was bought in spring 2019, so uses an older firmware. A few UI updates since then but makes no difference.

Hi mate. Can you confirm that banking apps work ok after the fix for the play store. Just a bit concerned as I've heard on some phones that using methods like this doesn't always work. I had a P30 Pro and loved it. Best phone I've ever had. Would of got the P40 if it had play store by default. thank you... I got mine working...but the notifications aren't going away... I ended up forcing the play services NOT to show me notifications... Like suppressed all notifications form Play Services. Hopefully it will all be good.

you can potentially just block that notification and it won't show anymore...shouldn't affect anything

You have to copy from backup folder Huawei folder to root of internal memory. And backupapp will automaticaly detect back up

Hi I am using a Huawei P40 Pro. Downgraded the firmware, success to install everything. But Google play services still have error. Have try to repeat the last fix error step for more than 10 times, still not working. Any suggestions?

I still have a problem with the notifications after the step 5, no matter how many times i do the procedure you show me (uninstall frameworks and then re-install and then restart my smartphone). This is what I'm having issues with. I got it working but the next morning I woke up to a notification for a huawei update (although it hadn't been installed), and the notifications have started coming back again :(

Same here... Apps are working but it keeps reminding me that I'm not Play Protected when I open apps (even after turning off notifications, the Google apps themselves are reminding you), too bad

I currently have the p40 pro with the notifications part working flawless
I have the Google services required to do bits but doesn't stop functionality of the phone.
I would like to sign into google photos somehow, is this possible or will I have to wipe phone and start again and if I do that and sign in to google then change to push or is there a switching app to do this, I just want to backup my photos to google from my old Samsung.

For my case, my nova 7i cannot run in the Blue G app, I'm not sure is because of i didnt factory data reset my phone

@@nigelryan9665 bro, u need to downgrade to some version. I forgot the exact version i did. There is another video to downgrade in order to proceed with these steps
I wish huawei would make this process a lot easier... I think technicaly it would be legal

I have a question , i used your method and it worked i used it for months , then i changed my password on Google account, and ofcourse it all messed up my P40 pro ... Is there a way to put in the new password without going through this whole installation process? Or should i just give up and erase everything and start over?

Considering purchasing Huawei P40 PRO, does this still work? I can't really not have google services but I love the P40 camera specs for my line of work.
Can confirm emui 11 works on p40 pro 5g 0 issuse using this method I had some issues with notification but as you said disabled wifi and with patient it all worked great
Very good tutorial it works except the notification from play protect, but I disabled that. Now I wanted to ask how I can add Gmail accounts, because now that isn't working?

Go to settings>apps>google play services> notifications and disable the notifications

Hello Fabian. I continue getting notifications after all steps. Have the same device. Have you downgraded the FW Version in addition to this video? It's a nightmare for me: struggling with this problem the whole day
@@vitalynalivaika1265 @Vitaly Nalivaika Yes, first of all i did a downgrad from FW 236 to FW 117. After that i installed the Google Services as shown in the video. It did not work on first try. I had to repeat the last steps several times till it worked without notifications. Repeat the Steps as shown from minute 10:00 . Be patient. For me this Method worked like a charm. After succesfully installing the google services i did an update back to FW 236 an everything is still working fine.

I got google app store on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro (7inch), absolutely no issues. The phone was bought in spring 2019, so uses an older firmware. A few UI updates since then but makes no difference.

Can you update your old firmware again AFTER a successful gms installation?

Hi mate. Can you confirm that banking apps work ok after the fix for the play store. Just a bit concerned as I've heard on some phones that using methods like this doesn't always work. I had a P30 Pro and loved it. Best phone I've ever had. Would of got the P40 if it had play store by default. I'm using a Samsung galaxy S20 plus at moment but apart from the 120hz screen I would much prefer my Huawei back!

thank you... I got mine working...but the notifications aren't going away... I ended up forcing the play services NOT to show me notifications... Like suppressed all notifications form Play Services. Hopefully it will all be good.
