Worked well for me apart from an issue with transferring the file from google drive to a USB. I had continual errors saying that the file was too big, even though it was only 5GB and the stick I was using was 8GB, I even tried a 15GB stick and got the same issue. In the end I used a 500GB backup drive and that worked. Strange issue but otherwise a perfect walkthrough, thank you.

you should download the new firmware and flash it with hisuite (the procedure is same as downgrade firmware).to find the correct firmware (in my phone, newest is ver.11.0.0.151), please google it -> Huawei Firmware Finder (Team MT) application (anyway, i found it at xda developers website)

Friend, I'm having issues with push notifications as well. Although, I managed to complete the GMS installation procedure successfully, push notifications are not working, for example with Gmail.

P40 Pro + I have a problem when copying the "dload" folder - at the end it shows "no path", after running "4. Software upgrade" cannot update and displays "Software install failed!" I updated to latest version and then Google play wouldn't open. Kept saying authentication required. Also before that maps, chrome, Gmail, and TH-cam all started acting up and closing. What went wrong?
You didn't make it right when installing and uninstall google play services. Use fix button in Googlefier until it's working without any errors or notifications and don't forget to be patient 👍

I has Join EMUI 11 Beta for Nova 5T. EMUI 11 isn't ready for release globaly. It's only Animation and smoothness. For Battery Performance I feel same like EMUI 10.1. But for performance, this version is worst. When I play Genshin Impact, framedrop everytime ( Even I set in Low Setting ). I hope Huawei will fix this problem.

This will not work. Mate 40 was released with EmUI 11 and can't be downgraded to version which supports Lzplay app. So don't waste your time and data. Only working solution for your phone are apps like Gspace, VMOS, VphoneGaGa, use them 👍

That is when the USB stopped working on my P40 and my P20. I have reformated using my PC and even bought another flash memory, but there must be some setting in the phone that is not letting me in. All I see is the the usb will recharge, but when I click on the file transfer option, it jumps right back to recharge. There are times when being a senior citizen has its disadvantages.
your a great guy and do good work. but dear sir, if you already use a laptop with hisuite why make it so much more work downloading via phone . why not show how to get every download via the laptop, put via laptop on stick and then show the installation. for us non techies its already hard to follow. doing the downloads from xda via phone doesnt make it easier

Hello, I don't know from where is your device but region C316 is not familiar to me. You can try to search for firmware in easy-firmware.com but they are paid. Otherwise you can use apps like Dualspace or Gspace.

Edit I found my issue, the file was not moving across properly as my USB was formatted to FAT32, fix: format to exFAT then move it to the USB and it should work

@@SystemHacks Thx for the advice. I solved it anyway i install it with the phone instead and updated to 11 Emui and it works. Can i uninstall Google fier map all it does is to install the needed apps anyway. Used to custom rooms , roots, Oem unlock so i can pick out pieces from all content and it was helpful.
@@SystemHacks Think it have been Nice to share a link to Lz app, G app i find it of my own. Format my 16 Gb stick to fat32 not Ntfs used to Linux Base code so space vice no problem and even tested 2 more sticks with fat32 format missed to test Ntfs so it must been that.

Factory reset will remove google services and if you remove your account it will cause problems. Only solution is to watch my video for adding additional Google account, add it and after that remove yours.

Hi again, i follow these steps and manage to downgrade and install all google services. After that i received an two official updates again and upgrade to 11.0.0.168. Today i decide to factory reset the phone in order to downgrade it again and install gms from the beginning. For some reason, i don't have any more the option "Switch to Other Version" on hisuit. Is it because now i'm on 11.0.0.168. The last time i downgrade i was on 11.0.0.151. Does this matter? Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks

your a great guy and do good work. but dear sir, if you already use a laptop with hisuite why make it so much more work downloading via phone . why not show how to get every download via the laptop, put via laptop on stick and then show the installation. for us non techies its already hard to follow. doing the downloads from xda via phone doesnt make it easier
Because other way including third party software like hisuite proxy and you can brick your phone. This method is safer and easier 👍

If (Downgrade is not available) just Disable (Find my Device) re-connect your phone and hope everything will go smooth.

Hello, I don't know from where is your device but region C316 is not familiar to me. You can try to search for firmware in easy-firmware.com but they are paid. Otherwise you can use apps like Dualspace or Gspace.

Edit I found my issue, the file was not moving across properly as my USB was formatted to FAT32, fix: format to exFAT then move it to the USB and it should work

Doesn't work, Huawei has stopped the ability to downgrade EMUI 11.0.0139 to 10. If any one know how please let me know. I have lost Google services and need to downgrade in order to sideload with LZG.

Probably it will break GMS but you can try it before updating to higher emui version.

Huawei mate 40 Pro is born with EmUI 11 so sadly you can't downgrade to EmUI 10 and no GMS for your phone.

What is the difference between C432E8R4P1 and C636E3R5P1? Will my phone still work if I use C636E8R5P1 instead of E3R5P1? Can you advice what does E3 and E8 means?
Don't know what last numbers mean but be sure you download correct region for your device(eg. C432 and C636) this is important.

When i download and copy the file from Google fier it goes good but every time i copy it to the Usb stick it fails to copy Sd base tested both files for my Huawei P40 PRO C432 and i dont want to install then is this normal ?
Format your usb stick in ntfs on your computer and it should be at least 8gb.
@@SystemHacks Thx for the advice. I solved it anyway i install it with the phone instead and updated to 11 Emui and it works. Can i uninstall Google fier map all it does is to install the needed apps anyway. Used to custom rooms , roots, Oem unlock so i can pick out pieces from all content and it was helpful.
@@SystemHacks Think it have been Nice to share a link to Lz app, G app i find it of my own. Format my 16 Gb stick to fat32 not Ntfs used to Linux Base code so space vice no problem and even tested 2 more sticks with fat32 format missed to test Ntfs so it must been that.

Factory reset will remove google services and if you remove your account it will cause problems. Only solution is to watch my video for adding additional Google account, add it and after that remove yours.

Hi again, i follow these steps and manage to downgrade and install all google services. After that i received an two official updates again and upgrade to 11.0.0.168. Today i decide to factory reset the phone in order to downgrade it again and install gms from the beginning. For some reason, i don't have any more the option "Switch to Other Version" on hisuit. Is it because now i'm on 11.0.0.168. The last time i downgrade i was on 11.0.0.151. Does this matter? Any help would be very appreciated! Thanks
