- Hello There!
In this episode, I am trying out the new Insta360 X4 camera.
And I have to tell you, I’m pretty happy with what I have seen so far….
So join me as I ride around Humboldt County in Northern California
as I share my first impressions on the new camera.

Also,
On May 19th 2024, my Daughter and I will be taking part in a World Wide fundraising event known as "The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride"
We are helping to raise funds for Prostate Cancer Research and Mens Mental Health Awareness.
If you are able, please consider sponsoring me at the link below:

So ride along with my Daughter and I as we ride 2up on my Royal Enfield Himalayan for a great cause later this month!
I think you're gonna like.

By the way, love the updated logo! And I’ll be sponsoring you as well for the upcoming Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride! Have a great time!
And keep it ‘Squatchy! (OK, I have no idea what that means either)😂
Enjoyed seeing a bit of your area through your camera lens. I will probably never go there in person since i live in Alaska but enjoyed the Narrated tour anyway. I also ride a Himalayan and wear a motorcycle jacket from the same company as your jacket.
Seeing the area through my camera lens is the next best thing to being here. To be honest, I started the channel to film the area to show my family up in Canada where I live. TH-cam is a great platform for such things.
Thanks for watching the channel, the jacket was a gift from my mom and is actually working out really nice. Safe rides and enjoy the Himalayan! 🍻😎
Enjoyed it. Looks like you had a good time. I am in the process of trying to pick up a Himalayan. Found one just have to work out the logistics.
Thanks for watching and I really hope you are able to work out the logistics on getting a RE Himalayan. I can’t recommend this bike enough! I would totally buy it all over again…
Let me know when you get it and what ya think! 🍻😎
@@NorthboundMotorcycleADV Will do!!
New camera does a great job! Thanks for the showing the beautiful area and some history of the county you live in. Forgot...have to add...Love the new logo!!
Thanks for the comment and I’m super happy with the way the new logo turned out to!
Now that the rains have stopped more videos coming soon 🍻😎
Hey there good to see u again, thanks for showing us around your hometown, been through your neck of the woods twice heading up over the Shasta trinity mountains, beautiful ride no doubt, sure bet that malt is probably a good one, thanks for sharing, me and my riding buddy just got back from Big Bend national park, boy was it ever hot to, we left there and drove on down to Judge Roy Beans place, that was interesting as well, July we head north and travel all across Canada maybe head towards Alaska, camping all the way. Well got to get take care, always look forward to next videos. Rob Ala.
Always good to hear from you Rob!👍
I have never been to Big Bend national Park, but that is somewhere I plan on going. Safe travels as you ride north. If you’re camping along the way, then you’re really going to love Canada! Thanks for riding along and it’s always good to hear from ya! 🍻😎
Nice video forrest, allways enjoyable mate, the new camera works well ,you do live in beutiful country, ride safe.
Thank you much for the comment…
I have to admit, it’s pretty nice here (expensive but nice…) and when the rain stops for a day or two I just have to get out for a ride….
Thanks for Watching 🍻😎
New 360 is good; defo an improvement on the 3.
I luv those covered bridges you have over there. The late Ol Man Ronin or Jeff, out of Ohio did a couple of vids on covered bridges in his area; before he got sick.
The architecture is your towns is gorgeous and made even more interesting because of the stories you relate to them.
For some reason I didn’t get notification of your new video’s coming one line; happens from time to time.
Thank you Forrest, I really enjoyed this publication.
Ride safe man.
Neil from England.
Hey Neil, good to hear from you my friend!
I like the old covered bridges as well…
Now that the rains have stopped I will be putting out more videos.
New one is coming out this weekend (camping at the lake) 🍻😎
Take care my friend..
i subscribed, cos you have such a smoothly voice, hope to see more of your travels & see more amazing things on your channel
Hey thanks and welcome to the channel!!
I have had several people tell me similar things lol.
I don’t hear it myself but thanks for the compliment. More adventures to come and again welcome to the channel! 🍻😎
Camera is looking tack sharp buddy! What a fantastic place! Enjoyed the ride man! 🍻
Hey Chris,
I thought the same thing, color grading is a skill I do not have (yet 😎)
I had the camera set to auto for vivid but will try standard settings net video…
Thanks for riding along my friend 🍻😎
@@NorthboundMotorcycleADV by Tack Sharp, I mean fantastic. I think you've got it plenty close man. The greens really pop. I wouldn't change much my friend!
😂ok, well I’m still playin with the settings 😆
🍻
Nice video!! The ride wasn't complete until you passed by the Fresh Freeze in Henderson Center. My mom owns a house a block away on G. Street and her office is behind the fabric store. (Arrow Property Management) I'll be back in Eureka for most of the summer except for mid June for a ride north to Canada, Alaska and Vancouver Island. Hopefully I'll see you out on the road. I'll be on a yellow 40 yrs GSA! The camera does seem like it's magic. Shoot me a message if you want to go on a ride. I'd love to check out the lost coast area you made a video about.
Always good to hear from a local 🍻
I think I saw you out riding the other day 👍 Thanks for watching, see ya on the road…😎
Camera is working fantastic Forrest. The Mud runner is sounding sweet.
I was able to experience riding in the rain last friday for the first time in 7,800 miles. Rain hurts without a full face helmet.( I could of cancelled my drum lesson ) Does your visor on your helmet pull up in the wind?
I believe keeping it Squatchy is to be forever diligent of a possible sighting or encounter.
IMO !
I have to agree,…Rain does hurt 😝
Here in Humboldt, if you don’t ride in the rain then you don’t ride… 😂
Thanks for the feedback on the camera, on the next video it will be done entirely with the new camera (no more GoPro)
Thanks as always for watching my friend…🍻😎
👋😎
Good to hear from ya Gypsy! 👍🍻😎
Looks like it was a great day for a ride, Forrest! Keep up the good work! ✌️🖖
Thanks FatSquatch!
Always good to hear from ya! 🍻😎
Idk if you read these but i swore you also fly planes! Do me a favor, watch this video and tell me the narrator doesn’t sound like you!!! Its “return to hidden splendor in 185” by Wheels in the sky. To me it sounds just like you!
I read each and every comment (although it takes me a bit to respond sometimes 😝)
I took a look at that link and now I want to start flying planes and making videos….Thanks so much for the comment 😎🍻
