- Taking my Surron Ultra Bee Electric Motorcycle deep into the wilderness for a night of solo camping. I was using an ultralight set up for this first trip out. I was pleasantly surprised by how well the bike did and excited for all the future stealth camping opportunities that have opened up because of electric bikes. This was more of a dual sport / adventure bike ride which worked out well in the end. There are some improvements I'm going to make to the bike to allow me to carry luggage better. More to come on that...

Man i've been waiting so long for someone to do this, everyone I've seen do this sets up camp with their car then takes the surron round a bit then comes back. I love seeing new vids like these. Please keep posting vids like this

I watch quite a few solo camping videos, and it’s good to see that someone is actually carrying a firearm on their person. In all the videos I've seen, many of those people, I guess, don’t agree with taking a gun into the woods while camping alone. That’s foolish. I am looking at buying the E-Ride Pro SS 60 MPH.

Beautiful terrain out there! 100% agree on the quietness being a pro and a con. I sneak up on wild boars and other wildlife here in Hawaii, but nothing like a bear 🐻
Those boars can get wild some times! It would be cool and scary to come across a bear.

Im from oregon, we have tons of bears in different parts of the state. THAT, is bear country. Sketchy as hell to be honest😂 ive had some run ins here but there is a SHIT ton up there. Stay safe man hope you bring a large caliber gun or at the very least spray!

Was the Ultra Bee not heavy enough for the snow or did you not fancy camping in the snowpack? I've been through deeper with a 500lb Zero on the daily and street tires, not recommend-able but we do what we must to get to where we want to go 😄 sure is better than a patch of ice on the roadway anyhow
Both haha, it was a little too deep for the Surron, plus snow was getting into the belt. You'll notice right when I stopped and turned around, you hear a terrible noise from the belt. Didn't want to risk snapping a belt up there. Would of been a long ride back!

As an old Coot i prefer range over speed, just ambling my way along, if i needed a tooth extraction then yeah maybe. benny you ever gone over the forks ? 😁 broken Clavicle? nah gimme a bike that is not nuts, lol if i was 21 again hell yeah, i'm 54 and have missing teeth and a broken clavicle lol
What app are you using to navigate on your phone with?
onX offroad and an app called DMD2 (more advanced). I like using onX the most. Allows you to build routes on the computer and instantly sync it with your phone
@@zekd I've been using Gaia GPS and all trails. Gaia is awesome because you can pull up old tapo maps and see old logging trails that used to be there but are on none of the newer maps and are still passable. I'll check out that app though. It looks really cool. There's a lot of limitations to Gaia right now but it's good to get me where I'm going.

Haven't had a puncture yet. Have about 600mi on the bike.

I respect your enthusiasm for an electric bike, but for me personally that range would be useless.
For sure! Appreciate the comment. Electric isn’t for everyone and I wouldn’t recommend it to be your only bike. I have other gas bikes. This is just a fun toy.
