  • Our hydro-hot system has been our main nemesis for the two years we have owned our 2004 Country Coach Intrigue. Just when I thought I had it licked…NOPE…total failure.

FYI...You mentioned the cap on the tank is rated at 7lbs, ours is 13lbs. Not sure what difference it makes as long as the tank holds good pressure. It finally cooled down today in AZ so I set out to drain and replace the nasty boiler fluid. All went well. I disconnected the lines going to the heating zones and individually flushed them out with the garden hose with good pressure then re-flushed with distilled water. Filled with 6 gallons of new fluid. Fired up the burner and cycled the zones, good to go! Don't forget to buy your MEGA MILLIONS ticket !!!

I’m assuming model…maybe…Not sure. On our coolers at work….of course they hold 500 gallons of coolant…but they range from 7 to 13 depending on what temperature we hold the cooler at. Glad it went well. Saves a lot of money. Maybe I’ll use some of that for a ticket. 🤔🤔

I’ll check with Carrillo to make sure what we’re SUPPOSED to have.

WOW! How's that Johnny Cash song go..."One piece at a time"! Very interesting video to me. All the hoses and wires and bears, Oh My! I sure hope ours doesn't spring a leak but you sharing your experience will be the inspiration I need. I still need to drain and flush the fluid in my tank. I have all the stuff to do it just not wanting too with the heat here in Arizona. Thanks for sharing this video. The way you explain the process is outstanding.

He’s done a great job with it. I’m sure he would love a comment about it as well. Super nice guy. I’ve enjoyed chit chat with him. Trying my HARDEST to convince him not to sale…….😢…Thank you for watching and I truly do appreciate the comment.

Looking back….other than big and heavy….I would do it again. Over all wasn’t bad.

I have a aquahot AHE-100-02S, flushed the system last summer(rv new to us). The fluid was pitch black, looked more like oil. Had to replace vac 230 thermostat. Now am waiting for a controller from John Carrillo. Hoping for the best.
Looking at this hydrohot I have to say my 20yr old AHE looks more straight forward on the pipes than that one.
      AHE is still intimidating though.
