Hurricane Beryl hit as a Category one storm just westerly of Freeport Texas. Making a rather large arc, its movement put the eye wall and surrounding outer bands closely over Houston Texas. That curvature continued and passed very near our home on Lake Livingston Texas. No over dramatizing it here. This is a short few minutes of what we experienced. Wow… Good for you guys! But, thanks a lot pal, now who is going to teach me how to work on my CC! Lol! Sorry I missed the livestream. Such total devastation back east it’s tough to see on the TV news. Our hearts go out to the people who have gone through this terrible tragedy.
@@kevinp2820 no worries, my friend! We are still going to stay very active in the country coach community just because of how much we do love our coach. And I’ve foresee we will probably eventually someday go back to a class A as our lives change obviously. And if and when that happens, it will definitely be another country coach.
Has there been a follow-up to this video? How are things now?
LET’s DO THIS!!!! 🏁🏁🏁👍🏼
@@Smokeroux do you have a plasma cutter? We may be needing one!
@@ALongLongWaytoGO Yes, Sir👍🏼
Ohh my gosh - this was not fun, but after this video I was able to do it (although it took probably longer than most lol - mine is a 2012 sahara). I will say when I took the old one off - my surprise it was a brand new part - whoever installed it tightened the bottom screw only - and soo tight that the part that slide in was broke off and I had to take needle nose pliers to pop it off. Be careful not to tighten it so tight. Mine was not a click but an awful screeching/squeaking sound. Appreciate the video - and if I can do it (cussing like a sailor) anyone can do it! Thanks!
@@KristinaCurtis-x4k 😀😂😆……It will definitely make you talk to yourself !!! And not very nicely !!!! But next time will not be nearly as difficult now you whooped its a^* !!!!!
I have a question.. let me start out saying, I’m a noob at car repair/replacement works so please don’t judge.. 🙏🏼 I have a Jeep SRT 2015.. I face this clunking sound everytime my gear drops from 6th to 5th to 4th and then it’s fine.. and upon take off at the red light I face this delay in changing from second to third gear which causes this jerking motion .. could that be due to the transfer case ? I do have a coolant leak, which I took to the Jeep/mopar dealership for service and discovered due to the pink leak stains on the inner wells.. im currently on the hunt for the part for it where I am at but it’s quite hard to find it..
@@nithinsasikumar8478 Good question…..We learned that the transfer case in these things can cause a “clunking” sound that will drive you nuts trying to find it….I had ours on a lift two or three times checking whatever I could check…I could have sworn it was a bushing or something moving around under there….Finally got to the point where I had no clue what it was and took it in to dealer to check it out. Turned out it was the output shaft in transfer case. Bushing was worn slap out….once the transfer case was out and laying on floor…it was easy to move the flange around back and forth……clunk clunk….
@@ALongLongWaytoGO when I mentioned my issues to the dealer during service, he mentioned that it was a normal thing for Jeep SRTs to have this clunk on the 3rd or 4th gear due to the wheel locking in place or something like that and got a similar response from another dealer as well… now I’m seriously doubting myself..
@@nithinsasikumar8478 Ours was smooth as could be after they replaced it. FORTUNATELY….we had an extended warranty that covered the replacement.
@@ALongLongWaytoGO sigh 😞
Your video helped a lot. Thanks.
@@Crystal-jr7lp Thank you for watching. Means a great deal to us for you giving us some of your time.
Did it ever go past half after this ? On the gauge
@@justinshergill8315 I do not believe so….we never had a temperature problem or any sort of overheating issues with it. Merely noise from the water pump itself.
@@ALongLongWaytoGO mine goes past half I changed the thermostat still does it
@@justinshergill8315 did your water pump fail? Or just having an overheating issue? Where did it normally run? Are the fans cycling with temperature? Do they run on high when AC is on? ( they should run full speed all the time with AC on ) Is the heater good and hot? ( good and hot means water is circulating through heater core )
Sounds just like my Country Coach going through emission testing Lol! Let’s see yours next year tear up the track!
@@kevinp2820 0 to 60 someday !!!!!
Pretty impressive to say the least!
This is absolutely crazy to watch in person but my little brother loves to race.

Wow! That's awesome!
@@kevinp2820 NUTS!!!! All I can say is they’re nuts……
Turns out we're surrounded by racers EVERYWHERE we find ourselves!! That looks fun, when is Ally gonna make her racing debut?
@@RockSolidRig Did you not see the picture from March when she ran it off the road and crashed it ??…..LOL
@@ALongLongWaytoGO yup, that's why she needs to try again!! Haha
@Fiddies4life
Dang, didn’t work for me. Just replaced and it’s still flashing and taking 20-30 sec to start. Got the exact same model ‘13 Sahara.
@@rlippincott-zl6qp I have heard this happening alot. All troubleshooting and diagnostic checks leads to faulty module but when replaced, same issues. If it’s checked again….all checks still lead to module being bad. Haven’t really had anyone explain a clear explanation of how to fix. Mixed opinions of “ oh it’s an actuator “….but none are bad…..Would be great if someone could actually come up with the issue.
❤❤❤ I tell ya it meant a lot to both of us to have the car fixed and ready for you to drive and to really get to rip across the dragon!! And yes that car absolutely SINGS in those mountains and corners no doubt. And as bad as im like not a mustang fan I have to admit it’s a super fun car to drive and I really do love it after all lol
🤩 What wind noise... All I heard was the sweet sound of those pipes. What a great story AJ!
If only I would have been prepared with something other than my I-Phone…..😥
Are you still happy with your trim attachment idea one year later
@@TMAdventures316 absolutely!!! That thing is as rock solid today still as it ever was. Zero issues.
@ALongLongWaytoGO awesome I may have to follow your idea when I change out my refrigerator
A smart fella' would have tied the new line to the old line before pulling it out!!!
@@robertsimpson7113 oooo…..good try. But me being “dumb” figured the four 90° turns and hose tie down clamps along the frame that kept you from doing that wasn’t gonna work. But nice try.
Any bow in your toe sticks makes a difference in your readings. Remember your one degree example.
@@MrTurbo64 Yeh. It was just a way to try and get things pretty darn close. I since then got some of the TMR adapters ( well….borrowed ) and rigged up some of those super cheap laser pointer lights straight down on the floor….then it’s just a simple measure of the laser dots…worked pretty dang good. Since this video though, we run 40” stickies now so not much road driving anymore at all. Although I did drive it to the Ozarks and back on the stickies…LOL…it did great.
Put your hand behind the hose so that it then camera focuses
@@sergevilleneuve1715 Good idea !!!! Stupid auto focus !!!! Thanks.
Great video, AJ. My son was watching with me and he loved watching you make up the -AN fittings. Quick question; do you have a link where I can source the SWACK and Blue Devil tape? Looks like good stuff. Hopefully next year I'll be replumbing my fuel system on my truck and I'll be going with PTFE hose and -AN fittings. Again, great video as always.
@@theezeelife292 You can actually purchase the liquid version of Blue Monster at Home Depot. It works just as good as SWAK does and is slightly cheaper and more readily available. As far as the Blue Monster in tape form let me see if I can “SWaK” some from my stainless supplier for free !!!
@@ALongLongWaytoGO You're awesome, dude.

can you grill there? also im not going in a rv but i can park close to the river to go swimming ?
@@spamaya713 there is a parking lot barely 1/4 mile down the road at the river crossing. Lots of shade trees and access directly to the river….BUT…If the river is flowing good, need to get there early to get the good spots. Also you can look up Rio Frio and there is a lot there also with great access for swimming.
Our Magna is rubbing in the very same spot! I will be adjusting it this week! Thanks so much for the video and valuable help!
@@CCMagna06 does it have a tendency to creep out at the top before slide goes out? Very well could be same issue.
It is exactly the same issue, I will let you know the outcome when I am done! Gotta fix the heater hose that blew out on our way home the other night first! Haha🤪
OK, you inspired me, opened up, adjusted about 1/8” on the adjustment nuts, lubed up the mechanism and good to go! Also nice to see the paint stripes lined up on the outside! Thanks again

Just one more reason I respect the hell out of you, never afraid to tackle a project and learn something.
@@RockSolidRig It’s all about continuing education……and the stealership charges WAY too much money for EVERYTHING!!!!
On those trim pieces, you could probably find some plastic sleeves that glue to the back of the strip and friction fit inside the recesses of the screw holes.
Great video, AJ. A lot simpler than I thought it would be.

Hey AJ… I for one really appreciate your long form videos! Especially for the great DIY projects you tackle. It is very helpful to be able to watch ALL the details that are actually necessary to get a project done correctly. Thank you for taking the time to document the entire deal. Also appreciate that you are fearless when it comes to taking on DIY projects on your coach. I am inspired to do the same and it helps me truly “know” my coach as well as save some $’s. Take care and thanks again!
@@pauljordan756 Thank you sir. I get really nervous on the long ones !!!!…..😀
Great video as usual. The mirror finish is on the outside. I know this because the dealer had a "free detail" and destroyed one of my windows. Not sure what chem they used but I'm still searching for someone that can match the mirrored finish.
@@moto52000 very curious to me as I was very much warned not to steel wool the inside finish as it would destroy the mirror finish by scratching it. And of course as I showed in video I steel wooled the crap out of the outside to get the water spots off. They look beautiful with not a scratch one…..so I’m definitely puzzled now to say the least. 🤔🤔🤔
I have a 2006 Magna, had all 12 of her windows reworked in Searcy, Arkansas last week, every one of them was fogged. I was thinking about doing them myself. But decided to farm this out. Huge difference! Glad it’s done.
@@CCMagna06 it’s a lot of work for sure. But happy I learned how to….Now for the next ones ???……Ohh boy !!!! LOL
