I would love to see Goodbye Eri being adapted into a movie, also leave it to talented fans of Tatsuki Fujimoto to animate his works in such great quality, even though they’re pretty much studio quality.
what's the point. the manga is perfect. all the great panelling would just get lost in an anime adaptation. You can even see that from the Chainsaw Man adaptation: completely different art style, the panelling gets lost, the "original" pacing gets lost etc. In japan, anime is just a secondary medium. Manga is the main medium. And that's a good thing. Westerners obsess over anime for no reason
@@ToraSan I'm sorry but I just disagree with that opinion, I just think eri works better, short and simple, while fire punch is a lot all over the place.
Imagine an anime adaptation led and animated by names such as Nakayama, Gosso, Faure, Mitani, Kouki Fujimoto. With some luck, bring names such as kappe, Ikarashi and Enokido. MAPPA already has the perfect cast of animators to make such a masterpiece. Edit: Man I hope this goddamm studio doesn't adapt this incredible manga.
@@Faiqal_x1103 Nakayama was the series director for chainsaw man, Gosso/Goshozono is series director for jujutsu kaisen season 2 and he did some episode director work for Ousama Ranking/Ranking of Kings. Not sure about the rest

Besides that, Benjamin Faure and Takafumi Mitani are two animation stars working for MAPPA projects, both very creative. With impressive animation cuts, you can find out if you search their names. Kappe is a female animator who has been gaining a lot of attention thanks to her amazing work in Oshi on Ko. I was thinking about this lately. It'd have to be a live action adaptation just because the nature of the story, right? Makes the most sense to me at least
Tatsuki Fujimoto makes so many good projects, he just doesn't miss when it comes to manga Chainsaw man - Huge hit Look Back - Gonna be one of the best anime movies to ever come out Fire Punch - Extremely dark toned manga which also has such a good plot Goodbye Eri - Also one of the better mangas i have ever read, i hope this gets an adaptation
It can even be the official short movie for goodbye eri. this one minute feels so calm yet intense, just remind me of the shiver i got when i read the manga. This is so good
I adore that you took what was hardly a meme of an amazing story and turned it into a phenomenally beautiful animation. I’ve been watching this for a couple of months now, so I feel it’s only fair I let you know how amazing it is
This short animation Hits me so hard. It really does hit the nail for me, i literally read this whole manga while listening to Lost Kitten as background music on loop, It transports me to when I read it for the first time, this manga is definitely something else, I'd even say its the one that I like the most out of fujimoto's (and I've read all of them). Love the animation A LOT great work, you could say you made the movie she wanted
so genuinely beautiful and heartfelt; feels like a love letter. i didn't expect a one-shot to hit me so hard, and this brought back all those memories. your passion and skill is clear to see, thank you for making this :- ) i can't wait to see what else you do!
The manga made me both laugh, and cry- and just made me sit there REALLY confused...I LOVED IT, and the video you made made me feel just as sad, thanks for making it and I hope you make more amazing videos like this in the future
Not gonna lie, goodbye eri was some of the most confused stories i have ever read, i only managed (and im still trying) to understand the ending and the meaning of it, but thats something i love about it!
