    Flaxseed to lower blood pressure, when to eat it, how much, how often?
    Randomized double-blinded placebo-controlled clinical trial showed adding ground flaxseed to your diet every day can reduce your blood pressure as much, or more than, prescription medications.
    As part of a high blood pressure series I'll explain what happened in the study when participants ate ground flaxseed daily; and show you how to add this food in your diet. I know with small changes you can start realizing some of these amazing effects and live your healthiest life.

    Started adding two tablespoons of ground flax to unsweetened applesauce a few weeks ago after hearing about how doing so could lower blood pressure. My BP isn't terrible, but the systolic number was creeping into the mid-120s. Tested my BP yesterday and it was 112/69. Talk about easy!

    I add freshly ground flax and pumpkin seeds, 1/4 cup each, to a wild blueberry and casein protein powder smoothy every day. To make it easier to drink, I use a reusable "boba straw", which is an extra-wide (1/2 inch) drinking straw.

    Thank you so much for this information! I had bought some flax seed meal but didn't know what to do with it aside from putting it in a smoothie, which I just don't make everyday. I love your starting small approach in your videos - it makes it so much easier than making huge changes that I end up giving up on. I can do this!

    I'm just learning about Flaxseed and how Amazing it is for your Health ❤️ Great video! My Dr just put me on a Cholesterol medication yesterday.. I would really love to just try flaxseed Everyday. Do i have to talk to my Dr about switching to flawseed?
