My whole family gets so excited when you put out a new video. We love your family!! Thank you for teaching my teens about gardening. The garden they built from watching you has been a huge blessing. I never would have thought that growing our own food would help to heal my health problems, but it did. I am grateful. Thank you!! By the way, our neighbor asked permission to take pictures of the garden because of its beauty. Makes me laugh because we look like farmers in a Subdivision. But, the kids used what they had. My husband was always worried about what the neighbors would think. Now the neighbors are taking pictures because of the beauty ( a garden wrapped in a present of flowers and song birds in a small Subdivision backyard- and a healthy mommy). Thanks!
LOL, good thing Buggie has big brothers! I led a perfect childhood thanks to my brother. He took me places when he hung out, and treated me with courtesy, even though there was a 5 year age difference. He taught me what to expect from a gentlemanly date and told me to expect nothing less than the best. When I came of dating age, he took aside the fellows and "eddu-kated" them on how to behave before he was allowed to leave with me. My dad worked two jobs six days a week, so he delegated this important role to my bro. I count myself as blessed.
Starting the podcast with Millie and Sketch just trolling along, lets me know "All is well"... Buggy is showing "Big Girl Traits" so great to see... All the little piglets, Mother Nature at her best... sure brings a smile... All those healthy young men... And then that beautiful, beautiful baby... We are all so grateful for your family and farm... And for sharing it with us too.
I always chose the runts in any litter I was shopping for. Best dogs I ever had and my cat lived to about 24. Pigs are adorable. So are all of you. ❤❤❤
Buggie is such the big helper on the homestead, always ready to join in the fun. Hearing Ben call the baby "little parrot" was too cute....next summer Birdie and Buggie will be running around the farm together!
Missed you guys. Thanks for checking in. Love seeing the pigs and all they do. I’m going to need some schooling on the whole clearing process. Buggy handling that runt was quite impressive.
Omg yess this heat is NO JOKE .,Tx I’m only doing early early in the morning and then I’ve been doing 730,8 at night at eight at night is so hot. I’ve been coming in drenched been so busy with my little garden. We’re doing home projects as well and then tonight I hear we’re gonna get really bad rain Hopefully I can sleep better. I’ve been having a hard time sleeping so much…💚🌱
I was literally aching to hold that precious baby and do what my husband's granmother called, "the grandma jig." It was a little back and forth dance that she swore by. She did with all 3 of our children. Ohhhhh how sweet!
Your property is so mystical with all those beautiful green canapy trees and bushes❤ Lordy, lil piggy time again, the years are flying by!! And you're right Ben; who doesn't love a good baked tater?? Baby is looking rolly polley🍥❣. Another lovely video, thanks y'all 🎉
Love how Buggy, gets right in there to help outdoors and now in the house too, great parenting Meg and Ben. Little one is growing fast also. Boys are fine young men. What great loving family ❤
Buggy has grown so much. She loves helping her daddy, just as much as her big brothers do. Baby girl is growing too. The heat of summer has definitely arrived!
All those baby American Guinea piglets are so adorable! They're black as coal! Elizabeth is so beautiful! I think she looks exactly like her big sister, Lillyanna!
Ben, I've always said that you could use kudzu in warfare. First, Phase 1 would be air-dropping broody poop, a killer to the nasal passages to prime for Phase 2. Then, for a long term devastation, drop kudzu seeds throughout the country and it will take over even folks sleeping on their porches. Yep, that's the way I'd do it. 🤣They make kudzu jelly so maybe worth a try? Those pigs look supremely healthy to me. My grandfather raised Angus beef, chickens and hogs, not sure the breed of hog, but we used to call them Hogzillas. You have the best little farm assistant, would love to borrow Buggy for a day! She's da bomb! I wouldn't mind borrowing a few pigs either to clear some especially bad areas on this property! If only deer would eat what we want to get rid of, sigh. We have a huge population on our land here, some almost tame. It's in our dastardly plan to make sure they feel uber comfy so when we need venison, it will be easier to take it. Your kids are a bunch of good-looking peeps. Blessings to your family~Cynthia, N. GA mountains
Love piglets! Wish for more females next time! I am amazed at animal personalities in the animal kingdom! Thanks for your time! Always enjoy! Happy Days! 😄👏🤗🥰🙏
Cute little piggies and always nice when the pigs clear off some more land. Exactly who doesn't like baked potatoes. I usually smash them after there baked slather on the melted butter, cheese and I add either chopped up BBQ pork, beef or chicken add salsa and sour cream yum. Ben, it's been almost a hundred w/ humidity around 70 ugh so I get up about 4:30 a.m. when it's about 69 and a slight breeze after 8 a.m. I'm in for the day but, then I'm old 😅. Elizabeth is so cute, well goes without saying so is Buggy and getting tall. Blessings to you and the family. 😊🇺🇲
Hey Hollers 👋, Happy Father's Day Ben 🎉❤. I sweet baby🤗. My neice had her baby that Thursday ! It's a Boy 🎉Van Thomas. We were born and raised by the harbor , salt marshes and beaches. Van means marsh wich is his back yard😊. JO JO IN VT 💞
Tks for video.Ahhhh loved seeing baby piglets and Buggie holding the runt, so cute. Really enjoyed morning feedings driving golf cart, use to have golf cart and they are fun. Liz is such a sweet baby and hungry....lol. Much love to ya.
The summer working outside hours are in effect for many farmers/homesteaders. That sun is hot, and strong. We don't need heat exhaustion, or cancer from the sun. Those Kune Kune's are so adorable, perfect size, and not as aggressive as other pigs.
FRIDAY SHOPTALK 52 YES🎉🎉🎉❤ EXCITED FOR YOU 3. ONE YEAR🎉🎉🎉 This week we're in the 🥵 🔥 90S to 105 . Next week, cool 80s. It was great to meet the piglets. 14. Thank you for sharing. GOD BLESS YOU. SE MICHIGAN 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏
I keep hoping that eventually you all will get a farm dog. You just can't beat a good dog for deer control, predation protection and security alarm when anyone shows up on your place. It doesn't necessarily have to be a LGD, but one who can happily live out in all weather. I know a certain lil Buggie that would be a great trainer :)
Hello, that looked like so much fun! I haven't seen baby pigs for well a very very long time. On the farm when i was a child, pigs were my favourite. The mama pig used to let me scratch her back with a stick! I love the sound that they make! I remember them sticking their whole face in the wet feed my family used to make for them. Thank you so much for sharing. Have a lovely day!
Wonderful video. As always, my favorite part is the family time around the stove and dinner table. Sweet Elizabeth Rose is growing so fast. Beautiful family!
Always love seeing baby piggies! Wow only 4 girls, that's going to be a lot of castration . Jason needs practice, get him to help. I can't believe how big Buggie is getting, she's just Daddy 's little sidekick.
Hello Hollar Family! Vividly remember kudzo while living in NC. Had a long dirt driveway and it would grow over it completely covering. Way too many spots where it was not controlled and it took advantage. It literally would grow halfway across in a day. The trees were completely covered, no tree could be seen. Glad I'm not battling that now.
Afternoon is time to move inside ordinarily. Today temps dropped here to 80 with an 11 mile wind. Worked in the garden weeding, training vines and removing more tomato suckers.
Love that you show your faith, I too have three older brothers but now Buggie has a sister pretty cool, I also how you don't complain about the weather it is what it is. Love you all
Thanks for the extra work taking us along on your day .. Melting up here in Ontario Canada .. probably normal for you .. but heatwave for us.. 😂 Buggie getting fussy sweaty Daddy ❤❤
Hey, I remember a delicious Mennonite buffet we used to go to had pork roast, pulled apart, floored and fried, maybe deep fried and it was so good. Another way to have pork!
We had a tiny runt from a neighbour who was going to put it down because its litter mates had already bitten its tail and some of its ears off so we raised it. It became a bully and we had to be very careful feeding it (we were quite small) it made beautiful bacon 😅
