Nice final video! I am a bit confused by your conclusions. You said it did pretty much everything right and the footage looked great, but it wouldn't work everyday. Is that due to weight / bulkiness or lack of lenses?
GoPro over here releasing the same thing for a decade straight, meanwhile DJI hits drones, action cams, hits the gimbal competition, innovates action cams with the Pocket, then straight dunks on the pro camera market with yet another innovative product. This company is insane!

This is amazing. No matter what they do, they are always santas helpers. Parker is obviously the only one with the glow of professionalism. I wish he didnt decrease his appearance once he found helpers. I'll go watch Potato Jet now.
Was there a tonne of CA / fringing in the footage esp in outer edges of frame of many shots or was that a deliberate RGB split filter etc you'd applied as a chosen aesthetic to add a lot of throughout? ie even on basic shots like 9:18 look at edges of jeans in lower third of video?? Great video, just curious if that's how the DJI native lenses handle or if there was an additional call to add it in post???? Generally speaking corner sharpness, distortion and vignetting is extremely prevalent BUT again was that added in later in post for a specific look, and to direct the eye with the vignetting and lack of edge sharpness???? I'm thinking it's the lensing.

Great look at the inside of your process. I loved the little thumbnail storyboards on paper. The idea that such a rough and dirty technique ultimately leads to such a beautiful, polished video is great. The camera itself is sick. What a great innovation. It's definitely for someone more pro than me, though.
*Dji should make a 5k or less resolution camera with same sensor size for the ronin 4D so the pixels can be bigger, then the quality will be even better.*

I personally don’t see too much why most would anything different from this I would just say they need to support a long telephoto lens while the gimbal can work with it as well.
Dji really should also make camera for budget one-man band as mirrorless, or little bigger for small production company, with those great image quality 👌 and yeah with and without gimble.
@@sura1422 Also, I am not sure about the a6400, but the image is better than my A6300 though, not sure how but its much cleaner image quality, maybe because of the stabilization.

The biggest issue I can see with this camera is; the lens. It’s looks quite tiny. Does it provide the same aperture control as a more traditional cine lens that has a large diameter and captures more light?
I'm pretty exited about the many cool features on this thing (don't have it yet, might purchase it). But i can't help the feeling that most footage i've seen on youtube so far looks a little too "digital" to my liking, especially wide angle shots. But i gotta admit, many shots in your video look alot better and is a bit of a relief. I guess in the end it's the cinematographer who makes the difference ;) Have you also tried it with lenses from a different brand? How do you feel about the the image itself compared to higher-end camera's like RED?
