I remember playing this when it first released, i was 22. Had a 12 pack of Dew, a few beers, a pack of smokes, the window open to my room, warm summer breeze blowing through as evening set in. Little did I know that those would be the last of the stress free years. The last years when friends were still close, still living, life was an adventure waiting to happen, and games were the break you needed between work. Life was soemthing so sweet.
Now 44, divorced, in debt, most friends from then moved on, passed on. But watching this, well, it takes me back to those sweet days and nights for a bit. If no one said thank you for posting this, thank you.
I was 7 when I played this back in 2003 onwards up until around 2008 to 2009 those where the days had a good childhood, I'd spend time between there and a girls home nearby she had a Nintendo 64 I think it was mario games, didn't really interest me much, but those were good days Syphon Filter 3 Spiderman on PS1, C-12 final resistance, Tekken, Aladdin, oh those were great times.

Syphon filter the only game where a stun gun can reach across a street into a window on the top floor
And its also the only game where you can get an aimed head shot with a SHOTGUN. I know, I’ve done it!

I remember I had an appendectomy when I was 7 years old. When I recovered and got out of the hospital, my brothers got me this game as a gift. Seeing this game again after all those years brought tears to my eyes.

The original trilogy is all that matters when it comes to Syphon Filter.
The CG was improved a lot better than previous SF.

Yeah in the cutscenes the first one and see Levin have similar fist hands.
In this third iteration they really step up the quality of cutscenes.
I spent the whole 4 hours just watching the playthrough for both SF 1-2! It always feels like a movie. No words to describe the feeling. Obviously will do the same for this one. The Y2K problem was resolved by Gabe!!
I still play this on my psvita ,i have finished it so many times but i cant let it go such good memories ,kids these days will never understand

The Syphon Filter games on the PS1 were super games, though one gripe I always had was the way characters were animated and ran. It's as if though they had been stuck with a severe stroke.
Logan's voice actor made syphon filter realistic even with a crap graphics ;). When will they do a REMAKE this game has some serious potential

Nice walkthroughs! Syphon Filter 1, 2, and 3 were awesome. Omega Strain, DM, and LS were okay but I wish they hadn't departed from the original feel and gameplay...the first 3 were far superior.

Love these games; used to play them a whole lot with my best friend in our early teens.
The music, voice acting, sound effects, it's all the perfect mix of early 90s action and stealth. I hope one day we see a new addition to the SF series or even some remasters.

I was a lil kid when I played this SF series, my mom always made some cookies and cold lemon juice for me when I play it on sunday, now that my mother has passed away, this game will be more iconic to me.

Back when people didn't pointlessly complain about games being the same every year...
But every game was different: Different settings, new weapons, new situations, a mission editor, multiplayer, etcetera. This game was a beast.
Because we didn't have a reason to complain- because they WEREN'T reskins. They were TRUE sequels. Now go play your Des-TINY reskins.
Oh please leave destiny alone. They ain't even the worst. We both know we should focus on the three axis of evil: Ubisoft, Activision and EA. Assasin's Creed, CoD, and Battlefield.
I'll give credit where it's due. They actually do appear to have put forth actual effort with "Forsaken." That's more than anyone will be able to say with Black Ops 3.5: OW Edition, or "Odyssey" being a blatant reskin of "Origins" when it comes to AC. I don't really play Battlefield, but EA earned their bad rep.
I'm sure if we were getting something like yearly syphon filter games people would be complaining because at that point it would be clear that the focus is on making games and making money rather than making improvements.

They had 3 for the PS2. I do not know which order they came in but._. Syphon filter The Omega strain was the official one for the PS2 and later Logen' shadow and dark mirror was ported to the PS2, those two originally came out for the PSP though.

you gotta love that tazer i wish they remaster all 3 games specially the first one i fell in love of that game the story was great and the missions two what made it great was the fact that it was a long story you dint wanted to end and both endings made the game even better i would rather play this old games then some of the new ones they lack potential greats graphics dont make a game successful its the story and game play
