These older games are so much more creative than the newer games. They did way more with much less money.
I had syphon filter 1,
2, and 3 for the ps1 when I was younger this brings back so many fun memories
I was pretty sad when Teresa died, and I spent months stuck on missions.
Me too
I was sad too. Not sure if you played Syphon Filter 3 but if you remember back then, she faked her death to pursue Mara Aramov.
@@EdnovStormbrewer my god!! , great memory you have freind , exactlly she wasn't killed , she was just injured
@@EdnovStormbrewer how she fake death?
@@kingarthur7276 Her funeral was staged out to look like she was killed.
Man childhood memories 90"s after omega strain syphon filter just disappeared nobody knows what happend I hope they bring the series back this was one of my Favriote games along with metal gear solid

_Gabriel Logan:_ Great... more ducts.
A strong sense of sarcasm. Heating ducts are filthy, full of airborne dust, critters, and other elements.
A remaster of this series would be so dope. And I mean a real remaster not this other bullshit they call "remastered".
You mean remake
one of all-time best games ever! thank you for upload, feeling so nostalgic
You can still get the Syphon Filter games on the ps3 for $5.99!
Rated Arrr Pfft a real gamer still plays the original game on the original console! and on a CRT TV also

Dfactor Longplays I better say no true scotsman for things like that now! :P
Never had the chance to play Syphon Filter when I was young (only the demo versions). Recently I just finished 1 and 2. Loved it!
The clicking sound is so satisfying
I love this game, so amazing memories.
The graphics are obviously so advanced today but there’s something about those old school PS1 and even PS2 graphics that made these games that much more special back in the day.
It took me so long to figure out how to kill chance in the last level. I actually believed I had a bad disc or there was a glitch preventing me from killing him. Games used to be so raw back in the day when they didn’t tell you what to do, you just had to figure it out
I'm actually playing this game atm since I never got to play it much as a child.. Man it's still fun as hell after all these years, I'm currently at the mission where I went back to the Expo Center from the first Syphon Filter, the music still kicks ass especially during stealth missions..
Love the Lian and Gabe unresolved romantic tension.
Thanks for the video, my husband was mad he did not know how the get the grenade from the tank at about 40 minutes. I told him to reach me the game so I can type in the name of it to see what I can find. He too excited you have this up here. He finally on the next board. lol
3:16:42 the body of Anton Girdeux killed by Gabriel Logan in the first game
Wow,i wasnt remembering Gabe being such a cold-hearted bastard :P I guess those scientists had it coming!
+toubapatouba Yeah they did. Especially for working for Dr. Weisenger smh. Making the Syphon filter virus smh. Biological warfare sucks.
+Deon Davis
plot twist:
In SF3 flashback misson "Aztec Ruins" Lian saved Weissinger from Rhoemer's soldiers.
many years later Weissinger became one of the main researcher of Syphon Filter virus that infected Lian.
fate is cruel even in video games.
I never played number two... definitely glad I watched this playthrough. It was quite the epic game for its time it seems. Looking forward to watching SF3 now :)
This very game was my whole childhood
Its bringing back so many memories and a feeling I cant describe with words
Logan: They're wearing full body armer! I can't hit them!
Teresa: Aren't you're Gabe Logan right?
Logan: Right
Wow. This vid is nearly ten years old, and nearly has a million views. Wonder which milestone it'll reach first!
BTW, cheers for adding the chapters. Makes it easier to watch in chunks. Much appreciated!
This is one of my favourite PS1 games of all time right next to Tomb raider 2. Screw all the new terrible ones that everyone's playing! This is awesome!
Thank you so much for playing this properly, the nostalgia is wonderful. It's nice to see all the hidden weapons and stuff.
I Remember the first time i played SF2 back in the 90s when Pizza Hut was giving the demo disc away with the small pizza that demo also had Toney Hawk's pro Skater on it... 🔥
gabe saves the swat chick and she just turns around and starts shooting, wtf ?? he just did you a favor!!!! LOL
He resisted arrest.
@@humansvd3269 what crime did he commit ?
This series was so far ahead of its time
This game is like a lesson in geography and history while having fun. I missed it so much. Friday-Sunday all nighter in early 2000s
PS4, Nintendo or Xbox need to remaster part 1, 2 and 3 these are some of the great games of its time...
It's a Sony game so it would be remastered on the PS4 or PS5
"Gabe: Listen, I don't have time for this and your out of ammo"
Female cop: oh really (busts a few shots in him) 😬😆
Well that didn't work like in the movies.
Thanks for this bro, brought back some awesome memories!
Right
syphon filter paved the way & gave the blue print for games like (splintercell) to follow
