I love the idea of a break barrel that has multi shot capability. That being said…having close to a dozen PCPs and multi pumps that sadly I don’t even use anymore since buying regulated PCPs…I want one but can’t justify getting one sadly. 55 years old and bad shoulders…these would have been a game changer 20-25 years ago. They are awesome and if I only had pump guns and no PCPs yep! All day long I would definitely buy one or two. .22 caliber would be my choice obviously for pest control and hunting. If these guns were around when I fell down the rabbit hole of PCPs…I would have bought one or more. They are amazing for the money and no compressor/air cylinders/hand pumps needed…with the same velocity and accuracy out to 40/50 yards..heck yeah! These are the way to go. If you don’t want to spend over a Grand just to shoot a PCP and want something reliable…this is it for sure. It will do everything it was designed to do.💯🤷♂️ Great review as always milady. Thank you.
I've been wondering about this rifle. THANKS for reviewing it. I like power but I cherish accuracy more. Looks like this is not one for me since I enjoy off hand target shooting. Always striving for doing 2 inches at 50 yds. Saved ME from neck, head and body aches & PAINS. Quite possibly the next one will be more to my liking. Again THANKS. I'll keep watching.
Excellent review , very honest and complete. For starters you are a very strong person, I have the same gun and the most continuous shots I’ve made are 20 , it’s a beast, definitely can injure a shoulder if used for a lot of plinking . The way I get it to group better at 20 yards is to hold the grip very tightly and the forearm firmly, I don’t use the artillery hold. Mine produces 910 to 930 fps with the CP 14.3s and they are accurate from 20 to 35 yards rested. Off hand I would stick to 20 years , in my case a good backyard gun for iguanas. The Gamo 15.43g wadcutters are accurate at 20 yards and they produce a explosive impact. I had to put an extra rubber butt pad on my gun because of the recoil. The stock is good solid plastic at the grip , but is hollow at the back- I filled mine with oiled rags tightly compressed so to eliminate the hollowness. The Gamo 3-9x40 scope , mounts and rail works very well , I find the scope very clear and precise for the range I mentioned. As for the open sights you are spot on , almost completely useless unless one is a contortionist. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍

That's interesting with the GR name. I saw this advertised and was thinking it meant (G)as (R)am. Mostly being interested in spring guns I passed right over it and didn't bother reading up on it.
Nice to see them RWS Hobby pellets being tested lately. I've been shooting lots of them with my Virtus - which ain't an accurate thing either. But the Hobbys been the best choice for me so far. Good up to about 25meters for me. The magical number seems to be 3 - so 30meters starting to deteriorate the group noticeably..🤣 Yea.. Hobbys good for the Virtus at close range shooting - but seemingly not a good choice for you more serious target shooter's at longer distances. But thanks to AA for even testing the Hobby pellets!
The cheek pad is removable, I have one. It's designed ro use a scope. But you can remove the butt plate with two screws, then remove the pad, then screw the butt back on. It looks weird. But you can do it. It would be nice if you could buy a smaller one for those who want to use the iron sights. The sights are pretty good. I might try to make a custom pad sometime.
The open iron sights made almost useless by a bad stock design? A magnum size con in my books... And that cheek riser of course ain't made adjustable - and removable - as some technician woulda made it, if it woulda been up to them... But I guess some boss/engineer got their way..🤣🤣

After exploding a Gamo gen1 mag I am all about that single shot life haha!

Me too, but I have one of these and it's very quiet and smooth! It feels and sounds more like a gas than spring gun.

Highly agree most PCP' s can be boring after a while . These guns challenge a person to be a better shot .😁
