I scored a GX CS3-I brand new for $259 on Amazon. I think it was a typo because it was like 5:30am and as soon as I bought it the price changed to $359. Got the compressor and a 4 year warranty for $292. My back is smiling for the next 4 years. Great video brother. Have a wonderful weekend!
Love your content JC. Personally Ive had nothing but nightmares with PCP like Friday the 13th lvl lol to the point when I rebuild my collection I may stick to break barrel but your explanation on everything is great for everyone at every lvl of air gun experience thank you for your detailed content
And that 31 Mpa of course is 310 bars..😁 Good save there JC. 3000bars sounded lots. Would definitely wantna compressor someday. Not yet though gotten myself to look enough around to make a decision of which one to strive for to buy. Many good compressors out there - but many also may cost quite much. I'd might well to with one of these in the video. Would be interesting to service one, if/when needed..
I have been using the water cooled version for years. They are now under $300, and the rebuild kits are on eBay. Something you could rebuild with your eyes closed👍😉
After 6 years of using Yong heng ac compressors I have destroyed at least 4 from stupid mistakes like not plugging in the water pump to opening the valve on the tank before pressure is equal but with that said there is not a faster or cheaper way to fill our PCP tanks. The last YH compressor I purchased was 200$ on an Amazon Black friday sale. I have had no less than 7 of these compressors and at the moment have 3 working. You can not shoot without air...it is that simple. Owning many PCPs and having many shooters in my family not to mention 2 LCS SK-19s that not only consume air but also lead...AIR is life for these guns. You can't beat these compressors for the money. Synthetic oil, keep them cool, and do your maintenance. I fill 4 tanks and all are Ace Care brands. ZERO issues with these tanks. 6.8 LTR is ideal size but having a 1ltr for a back pack for a day out hunting or pest control is very convenient. I do recommend a dual gauge on your tank. Awesome video and ifo bud. Stay blessed.
Honestly, I'm surprised by the acecare compressor. I've used their tanks, but I've always been reluctant about any small compressor. You're doing a good deed for both , Acecare and we the shooters. Good job.
Couple questions, why do you never fully deplete the take pressure on the gun? Just no need? Not going to lie seeing air bubbles come out as it’s leaking at that psi is skettchhhh. Can you easily over pressurize the gun? How often or common are catastrophic failures ? Interested in getting away from break barrels and going to a Benjamin marauder pcp but the fx guns are super nice. Just not sure I want to get into this thing into the thousands .. great video!
hey JC in the video for the 2023 shot show Stoeger at 2 min into the video you were looking at a wood stock under lever, cant find any that look like that, love the stock on it, i have a s6000, but not that type of stock, any idea who sells those? thanks
Thanks for the great info, I was wondering what the process was for filling tanks & firearms. Awesome video, a lot of valuable info. That's all I got, see Ya's.😄
Can you pleaseeeee do a review of the co2 full auto broomhandle? I know it’s an old gun but you are by far the most accurate review channel when it comes to bb/pellet guns. I’m interested on ur thoughts on the power considering it’s one of the only guns that can empty a whole co2 cartridge in 2 mags!!!!!!
Hi JC may You make a video on how to set up the acecare air compressor and how to use it properly please. After watching this video I bought one and having a issue filling up on my airguns. Thank you for what you do Sir.
Hey JC, have you ever had issues on gamo rifles ( swarm maxxin gen 2 and swarm magnum gen3i both 22cal) in particular with the scope stop pin. Mine on both wore a groove in gamos recoil reducer ,while that happens the scope never Stays zeroed in
The problem is that Gamo's pin is a "V" cut and is never deep enough. It needs to have a round based pin. I usually go to aftermarket two-piece scope rings, and I drill a new scope pin hole in the front portion of the RRR. Never had an issue with that setup. Email me and I can send you photos. info@airgundetectives.com
@@AirgunDetectives thank you very much for responding, right now I have a bsa outlook 3x9x40 on it . I am just surprised I haven't heard other people with the same issues, thank you for your time . I would like to see your setup so I can possibly do the same in the future.
What do I have to do to shoot the gun and tank tathered the whole time? Because there is 300 bar in the tank and 300 bar in the gun, can I just let the valve open the whole time or would something bad happen?
Hay JC AM GETTING A AIR VENTURIE. 2 gen . I need an air compressor . I don’t want a fancy one. It I need one that last for under 300.00. Can you recommend me some option . Get back to me thx
I know this question is off-topic however thought I'd ask anyway. I'm new to PCP rifles. I'm looking to find out what mfg rifle and caliber one would choose for white-tail deer and hog hunting. Average shot between 100-150 yards out. I've been archery hunting for years but the big bucks I see are always 100 yards out. Unfortunately, I'm not legally allowed to use a rimfire rifle due to being a felon from 30 years ago. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
HI. First. You won't find a air gun today to humanely dispatch large game out to 150 yards, maybe 100 if a good shot placement and expect to track the game for perhaps some distance. Air Guns don't work like high velocity powder burning rifles do. Being sub sonic it takes a shot to vital organs, much like archery, not a hydrostatic shock like a high velocity 2000 +feet per second rifle would produce. Consider airgun hunting akin to bow hunting. But reach out a "bit" more. Depending on the game and the gun, say, medium game, wild pigs less than 50 pounds,30 Cal PCP with right shot placement should be adequate. Also,if you have the availability and funds, contact a attorney depending on the offense of your charge of felony you can get your record sealed and expunged and your Second Amendment rights restored. I know many that have .
@user-zn4tq6ib6r Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I was disappointed to hear what the OP stated. I've read good things about the Airforce One and it being capable of shooting the 45cal out to 150yrds. If money wasn't a concern would you still choose the Challenger AEA Pro? If not what would be your go-to for NA big game under 200yrds? Once again, thank you.
@user-zn4tq6ib6r U seem to know a bit about airguns, my question is does a new PSI Air tank come already filled or do I have to get it filled after I buy it?
AEA rifles can generate good power, the Classic Style 32" long barrel, .30 cal shoots 100 gr. slugs up to +/- 1020 fps at 4500 psi , that's 231.08 foot pounds at the muzzle, it's required 215 FPE to legally hunt deer in some states where large game airgun hunting is allowed; please correct me if I'm wrong. The AirForce Texans in .257, .357 (300+ FPE), .457 (400 +FPE)and .50 cal can generate way more power than the AEA .30 cal but the AEA Zeus .58 cal will give you up to 1000 foot pounds of energy ; now if you go for the .72 cal Zeus, you will get up to 1500 FPE depending on your projectile's weight. Accurate enough for 150 yards without a doubt.

How loud is that pump? Any idea/
I have a CF tank that is "timed out"... that is the date is over 10 years old, so how dangerous is it to keep using???
All high-pressure tanks should be hydro tested every 5 years. Scuba shops provide that service.
I looked again, it is dated 5/2006, so over the 15 year limit for CF tanks, and it's never been hydro tested, time for a new one.
