I swear all the airgun youtubers have the coolest properties and it's making me the good kind of jealous, the kind to wanna grind hard so I can own a place like this one day and build a range to shoot all my rifles.
I know it's amazing. I live in a little postage stamp size apt and the county won't even allow air guns. Gotta get out to the country. You'll make bro.
I have the exact same gun in .22 and thought exactly the same thing!!! It's really well made and put together and that slim fore-end is lovely to hold. I have 3000 euro Field target Steyr `LG110 Challenge and the stock and pistol-grip position is nearly identical to this gun....somebody at Gamo KNOWS what they are doing that's for sure!
I saw no one responded to your question, but I will try to help answer this question, because I've owned many 25 caliber Springer's, Some would be accurate at 50 yards, some won't.
Have you tried any of the rws through this 25 ? I’m just curious if it is a good pellet for accuracy. I’ve been shooting the h&n baracudas has been very accurate at 30 yards in all my gamos. Will definitely try out the jsb!
I have this in the .22 version, its my favorite gun. I shoot w/open sights. Had ro remove the cheek piece, looks funky but it works. Will build a custom when i have time.
I literally went and got one just cause of your reviews and I'm so happy but I'm still a bit new to air guns and we'll guns in general how do you go about controlling the recoil and what the best positioning on my trigger finger and that sorry I'm try hard to not sound dumb here any advise would be appreciated
I have had my wisper gas ram for like 5 years now and well over 10k shots thru it. Still shoots at 735fps with crossman hollows. I was dubious also but this thing has sold me on gas rams.
I have a Hatsan .30 break barrel and I have shot the .22 and .25… they are all pretty good. just a little heavy and kinda “clunky”. I feel like the Gamo is a little lighter and smoother.
I could shoot my Hatsan 25 call with accuracy at 60 yards no problem, I just bought this Game .25 recently, but only had time to shoot 27 yards so far, can hit 1inch target dot very well with u.t.g.3x9x40..scope. I'm pretty sure this game will do just as well..
shit dude. some of the scopes are just total crap right out of the box.. if is hit and miss. I have not been so unlucky thus far. maybe you didn't tighten it down enough or maybe you tightened it too much. ... or maybe it was just a crappy scope. id say to email game and maybe they will send you a replacement... but either way you will eventually want a better scope so take a look at some of the Hawke airmax those are good.
I’ve put a few hundred through it so far. It seemed like after the first 150 or so it smoothed out quite a bit. I imagine after another several hundred it will only get better
Is that Thumb Butte in the background? I lived in Prescott and it looks like it. I think you live in Chino Valley and I'd swear I've driven by your property.
It would be nice if you were to elaborate on the entire process of how you broke the gun in. Did you clean it before using, or after the first few hundred rounds? If so, how did you do so? I've seen a LOT of inconsistent information whether to use Hoppes, Ballistol or gun oil when cleaning the barrels. I've seen posts swearing by any of the above, and others saying to NOT use them. Some even saying that the spring should be modified/lubed to "settle it down". All of the above cannot be correct, and some could possibly even void the warranty. So, rather than merely demonstrating yourself shooting two tight groups, please expand into details, about how the Gamo Break Barrel Air Rifles should be properly broken in, as well as maintained, specifying which protects to use, as well as which ones to avoid, in order to ensure the 5 year warranty, as well as having a reliable pellet rifle, that's enjoyable to use, for many years to come. Thank you!
That Mach one PowerPlant is a piece of garbage for a 25 caliber. As soon as I put a heavy round through it it broke and lost half its power. I have also cleaned it, oiled it, and put it back in its case after every use and it started to develop rust spots. Apparently Gamo is making their rifles out of recycled pot metal.
With break barrels it’s best to rest it in your hand (not on the bag) it’s pretty common knowledge that break barrels like to be held (artillery hold) look it up 😉
Why do people care so much about a group on a paper Target.. . . His skill level and his gun are completely different than you and your gun . . So good or bad . . no matter what he does and his gun does you and your gun are completely different . . I just don't see what the fascination is . . . And you people eat it up like candy . . Why . . . His skills and his gun performance are going to be completely different than you and your gun and skills . . . So understand you are not him and his gun is completely different than your gun . . . Guns can be the same make and model but each gun is different in its own way . . Just because he might be good with a gun doesn't mean you had the same skill level he does . . . If you want to test your skills and see how accurate your gun is try shooting an egg at 50 yards . And if you can hit that egg at 50 yds your gun is pretty well accurate and you have some skills. . . But you people are nothing but your a bunch of paper killing maniacs . . But you people seem to have an orgasm every time somebody gets a five-shot dime-sized group . . But that's him and his gun that's got nothing to do with you and your gun . . . If I'm going to watch somebody else shoot a gun I would rather see them shoot something interesting . . Rather than sit there and watch them shoot paper and care about how many shots he can make in a dime-sized group . . . Everybody has a different skill set and a different gun . . What him and his gun do have nothing to do with your skills and your guns ability . . . I just don't understand why so many people get a hard-on about shooting paper and getting five shots dime-sized groups . . At least try to make it interesting try shooting a garden pea at 40 yards . . Guarantee you that would take a lot more skills than just shooting paper .
Do you have a Federal Firearms License? No? Gamo won't sell you any parts for their rifles. You have problems, you have to ship it off to Gamo. Shipping a rifle will cost you about $50-60 dollars. You won't get the rifle back, they just send you another rifle off the pile. You have to start all over again. Gamo doesn't want you to fix their rifle, they want you to buy another Gamo. That crunch crunch grind grind when you cock it sounds like there's gravel inside it.
Everybody hold your breath and stand back . . He's going to shoot a piece of paper from 50 ft away . . . Witg his super duper scope . . My God from 50 ft away with a super duper scope he's going to put five shots within a dime-sized group . . . What skills he has . . . To shoot five shots close together 50 ft away with a super duper scope . . . Hahaha 😂 . . . If this guy is such a good shooter . . . Try showing some real skills and shoot a grape from 40 yards away . . . Because if you can do that that shows you have some skills and your gun is very accurate . . . It would be better and be more entertaining than watching you shoot paper 50 ft away using a super duper scope. . . . I bet every time this man walks by a piece of paper . . He gets a hard-on and things to himself Lord I wish I could shoot that paper . . Because I think I could get it five shot dime-sized group on that paper . . . This guy gets and has so many different air guns and makes all these videos . . . And with all the different ways to test your ability and your guns ability . . He mainly 98% of the time just wants to sit at the table with his super duper scoop and shoot a piece of paper 50 ft away in . . And he's getting well paid because you bunch of fools get a hard-on watching this guy shoot a piece of paper . . . Anybody should be able to get a dime-sized group especially when you're using a gun with a super duper scope on it.. . And the targets only 50 ft away . . . This guy's got it made all he has to do is shoot a piece of paper to make a living . . . Watching these videos will not help you . . Because you must be a real bad shot if you can't hit a piece of paper in a dime-sized group using a super duper scope 50 feet away . . . These videos like this or nothing but a borehole . . It's like watching paint dry .
Cause people like me (us) prefer a springer to gas pistons. There's a market there for us too. You can get it in .22 Magnum gas piston with the 10 shot mag.
I swear all the airgun youtubers have the coolest properties and it's making me the good kind of jealous, the kind to wanna grind hard so I can own a place like this one day and build a range to shoot all my rifles.
a city boy cant shoot at the street , thats why
Agree

I do enjoy the sound of the impact of a 25 on it's target.
Can't wait to see hunting videos on this pellet gun
Great shooting Ben, Another awesome product from Gamo!
Bro we need 75 or 100 m . Please do a video
Hope they make a gen. 2 with a magazine then I might buy it!
Also keep the iron sights.
Would this be the same as the gamo hunter extreme. 25 just one polymer the other wooden stock?
After getting the gun broke in do you think it would be a viable option accuracy wise out to 50 yards for small game hunting?
I saw no one responded to your question, but I will try to help answer this question, because I've owned many 25 caliber Springer's, Some would be accurate at 50 yards, some won't.
Nice groups man!
Thanks!
I have that thing shooting awesome at 70 yards
What pellets are you using?
Have you tried any of the rws through this 25 ? I’m just curious if it is a good pellet for accuracy. I’ve been shooting the h&n baracudas has been very accurate at 30 yards in all my gamos. Will definitely try out the jsb!
Glad you said this, it reminded me to buy some for my gamo 25 caliber, and 25 caliber Cometa.
I have this in the .22 version, its my favorite gun.
I shoot w/open sights.
Had ro remove the cheek piece, looks funky but it works.
Will build a custom when i have time.

Check out Airgun Detectives. He sells a trigger kit for the Gamo that really smooths out the trigger pull.
Shoots pretty smooth for a 25cal.
I wish they offered more metal springer options. Not a fan on the longevity of air pistons.
I have had my wisper gas ram for like 5 years now and well over 10k shots thru it. Still shoots at 735fps with crossman hollows. I was dubious also but this thing has sold me on gas rams.
My Gamo Urban .22 is a absolute tack driver!
How loud is this compared to the swarm magnum? Thinking of getting this but I am a little scared of so much sound
Honestly I think the 25 is more quiet than the 22 cal.
@@ShootingGearReviews wow ok thanks for the feedback
How do you think it compares to the Hatsan .25 break. barrel? (If your familiar with it)
I have a Hatsan .30 break barrel and I have shot the .22 and .25… they are all pretty good. just a little heavy and kinda “clunky”. I feel like the Gamo is a little lighter and smoother.

@shooting gear reviews hey man was hoping you could help me out on picking the best scope for the .22 magnum? What's your favorite?
U will think Gamo will make a 10x reloader for this but no just a single shot?
It would be nice if you would mention where were you aiming at and where the pellet eventually landed
Are the .25 barrel breechblock madd from steel or plastic.
steel
Speed?
What did you do for break in?
Just shoot it?
So I was tryna break this in but first 3 shots my scope decides to crack on me? What did I do wrong?
shit dude. some of the scopes are just total crap right out of the box.. if is hit and miss.
Why Gamo don’t make the multi shot version of this gun? It doesn’t have to be 10 shot.
Hey Ben how many groovy shots to lead it in man ? Thanks my friend. Pete
I’ve put a few hundred through it so far. It seemed like after the first 150 or so it smoothed out quite a bit. I imagine after another several hundred it will only get better
@@ShootingGearReviews sure will get better
does it auto safe every time break barrel
No
Does this produce more energy than my first gen Gamo Swarm Magnum??
No, about the same if yours is a .22, little more if .177
Is that Thumb Butte in the background? I lived in Prescott and it looks like it. I think you live in Chino Valley and I'd swear I've driven by your property.
@metalhead9849 no its not thumb butte but it is a look alike that is nearby

Literally all I did was shoot about 300 times and it seemed to break in and shoot more consistently and smoothly.
Why don’t you show the fps?

The real way is to take them appart to get rid of the moto oil and tractor grease they put in there!
Both of my gamos were filthy inside
25 yards is not to far iv gotta hit 50# yards for ground squires i do 50 to 75 easy with my hw 80 and hw 98
i don't see the difference of a "target pellet" or a so called "hunting pellet". I've tested both in water and they act the exact same way.
Nice..👏👐
Thanks 😊
Brasil manda uma desta pra min
interesting
if you rest the gun on your hand ,there will be a bloodpuls from your hart, so the gun is even better then the group thats produced here
With break barrels it’s best to rest it in your hand (not on the bag) it’s pretty common knowledge that break barrels like to be held (artillery hold) look it up 😉

Great grouping, too bad you can't hit the target. 😓
I had it sighted in for the 25.39 and the Hades hit a little high right. .
so if I was using the Hades I would just dial the scope for those.
There is no "break in period". Just clean the greasy gunk out of the barrel of a new gun, or you will waste a tin of pellets.

All metal breach? My Magnums breach is PLASTIC!! 🤬
Springer ? Why would they do that when they have some badass piston technology made for these already. Something they need to fix
Cause people like me (us) prefer a springer to gas pistons. There's a market there for us too.
You can get it in .22 Magnum gas piston with the 10 shot mag.
