    • @HardcoreRC
      @HardcoreRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the Typhon is bone stock expect for the Badland Tires - so its running stock pinion. I like both the Granite and Typhon they are both great and you wont be disappointed in either- i would recommend changing the tires on the Typhon though if you want to jump and do back flips etc

    I'm thinking about doing the same with my Typhon! I've cracked all the original rims, and tires are going bald. Did you notice a big weight difference, and did it help with hard landings/bashings?

    • @HardcoreRC
      @HardcoreRC  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can highly recommend putting the Badlands on, no weight issues and just makes the Typhon handle so much better, easier on the landings, better air control, better clearance. Hands down the best thing you can do to a Typhon 👍👍

      By the way, did you have any issues assembling those shocks? I found that the shock cap wouldn't screw into the shock body because the white disc part of the cap assembly wouldn't go in past the threads of the shock body opening. I ended up just very carefully cleaning around the edges of the small white disc part with a blade. I eventually got the cap assembly in to the shock body. Sorry about this long winded message.🙂

    • @HardcoreRC
      @HardcoreRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On my first set i did have issues and used a dremmel to lightly sand the white disk, however after reading others reviews i found that the white disk does fit but needs persuasion from a screw driver or something to ease it past the threads

    • @HardcoreRC
      @HardcoreRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You will also need to add some fish tank airline or nitro fuel line inside the shocks to reduce their travel - this is what will be on my next video - just have to edit it,
