As a 20 year automotive guy. They’res no way you can kick out the tail lights from the inside. But. Newer cars have emergency chords or latches to open the trunk lid. Or some newer cars have rear seats that can fold down. You can try to use your legs and strength to push. In summary stay out of the trunk !
Disconnecting a tail light also works, because the non functioning brake light will get the driver pulled over by the police. When they do, bang on the trunk door as hard as you can
