R-tech is the best for MK5 GTIs they know their stuff took mine to them for stage 2 for my MK5 GTi BWA engine owned her for 2 years and still love and enjoying every minute of it!
Has the stage 2 been reliable for you? Mine is currently on stage 1 (240BHP) but thinking about going for stage 2, as I've already upgraded my downpipe, intake and plugs.
@@Max34557 it has been reliable yes with the right amount of maintenance as a stage 2 requires more maintenance then a stock and a stage 1 id recommend going to only Rtech performance as they are the best with mk5 gti engines they know their stuff and will give u a safe map with safe numbers for the engine and keep it healthy by the way my old gti blew up because i went to a cheap remapper and had crazy pops and bangs and wasnt safe for the engine but it was a learning curve and im now running stage 2 with r tech for a long time and ive had no issues with my gti
@@Max34557 please do consider doing a balance shaft delete from VIS MOTORSPORT thats mandatory otherwise your engine is at risk of seizing up and be sure to change your cam follower
Is there any point stage 2ing a stock gti? My turbo is stock but I have an intercooler, turbo cat back with dump pipe, muffler delete, blow off valve etc. But someone is saying the stage 2 is working the turbo to much with the k03. Should I go back to stage 1?
did r-tech not suggest you to put an intercooler in when hitting the stage 2 mark? , I like my dv+ will they still map the car with it on as an advisory or do they not let you keep it on at all?
I have bought a pcv valve by Febi bilstein, with no stamps or data on, so i imagine that's not genuine? Also like ypou i fitted a cam follower, unsure if that's aftermarket, i might be good if you can do a video on where to get some genuine parts at good prices. Diverter valve i haven't bought yet, great video mate, always liked your tasteful mods

Congratulations bro. #gti
Awesome video man, the price you paid for all of it is awesome considering just for stage 2 in the states is $800
That’s not a bad price tbh - for the work involved

How come they didnt let you record inside?
For insurance and health & safety reasons.
