Sample from 0:16 to 1:05 to is from Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, Transition 2 (around 6min mark +-10 seconds, measures 90-100 in the first draft of the sheet music, and just at the start of part D in the final draft, piccolo flutes and violins)

@@fadyk85someone in the fandom once said this saga is pretty much the dark section of the "Final Fantasy" multiverse. If that's the case, I wished "Kingdom Hearts" would meet this saga in canon.
@@fadyk85stay tuned for my fic then. I don't directly include "Drakengard" in it (for the foreseeable future at least) it's true, but I include more mature versions of the tales, including "What if" scenarios of "FF" stories and some of the Disney worlds that were too happy going to my liking in canon. For example, this "Drakengard" chapter's OST is what imagine playing at the Hollow Bastion level in my "KH 1" take, in which the Beast Sora partners up with after being deserted by Donald and Goofy is Rumplestiltskin from "OUAT" (one of the most manipulative, greedy and sadistic villains there can be), and they have to face not Heartless, but actual flesh and blood people (some controlled by Maleficent and the Vizier from "Prince of Persia", some true believers), many of them slaughtered by Rumple in front of Sora in order to give the young man the incentive to learn how to steal hearts in order to control people and not have to murder them. Also, the Maleficent here is actually Aurora from the movie "Maleficent", from a timeline in which the OG Maleficent (her equivalent to a Fairy Godmother) was murdered by her father, prompting Aurora to turn herself into a dark fairy of immense power whose goal is to reach Kingdom Hearts and reshape the world into a world of peace without suffering or greed, which as you can imagine, is Eldritch to our human nature, not to mention ressurect the original Maleficent.
