I love how it starts off almost playful and upbeat, like she's playing with you and not taking the battle very seriously, but then it becomes darker as if the boss is realizing how bad of an idea trying to toy with you is.

Reilly-K Not so much. She's arrogant and overconfident. The Edge relies on his skill only, while The Burst uses every trick on her sleeve. Or hat. At the end, she loses all confidence in herself, and turns off her aimbot (HAHAHAHHAHA) and gets killed.

Id argue of all of them this is the least personal apart from the secpnd boss The burst treats this as a game, an oppurtinity to test her limits and only near the end does she realise that she is in too deep. This song represents the intensity due to the change of roles. Unlike the hand or the song who are just trying to protect earth. The burst is trying to hunt you down
I loved how some tracks fit with the bosses. 6:24 feels like a ritual, a ritual of initiation... And this one starts like you just got sucker punch'd, and the odds are stacked against you, then the track has a more darker turn at the middle (she starts to "cheat"), and all the sudden it feels more "hopeful" (The Burst is tough, yet not invincible), starts a crecendo and then blows, reaching a mind blowing climax: you just finally pushed her to the edge and broke her facade of control, and NOW she's in despair.
they reviewed it and only gave it a 6.8 basically coz its too hard and the boss fights are repetitive and they have set patterns, even though thats the whole point!
One of the most fun, beautiful, and challenging games I've played to date. I still find myself going back and replaying it from time to time just to get my ass handed to me even though I memorized all bosses move sets.
This is my favorite boss theme in the game, and one of my favorite pieces of video game music of all time. I love how the melody matches up with fight in how they both keep going in circles.
Listening to this and High af rn. Literally feels like the moments where Rider is fighting just to stay alive. As if he's becoming aware of the humanity that exists in his programming. Something that is worth protecting, a self that is more than just a machine. Realising he is more than a killer. That despite whatever he may be to the world, maybe he has a right to exist and decide. It's surely this same train of thought which leads to an ending that isn't assimilation.
I found this song because of a meme that had this section blasting with a video of a cat that had wide ass eyes just looking back and forth all panicked
Architect: Burst, you will be next. Burst: I see. What a shame. Architect: What, you were hoping to be sooner? Burst: No, it's a shame that so many of you will die because you chose to go before me. Song: You know that pride goes before a fall, do you not? Burst: Everything you do goes before your fall. You might as well revel in it. Chain: Ha ha ha! I like this one!
MattheJ1's extra lore adds so much when you're listening to this soundtrack and is emblematic of how interesting the game's characters are despite all of the enemies being on screen for ~10 minutes
0:46 As the 2 Guardians show up, everyone focuses on them with knowing that HE is arriving soon to take the land he wanted, and with his enormous strength just from a scream, the towers are in big trouble. Void/Tower Battles:Battlefront
Even though he was a bit of a pushover once you learn his patterns I lobed the viking-knight dude. I loved his design so much. And he all around my favorite fight. Samurai dude comes after then This sniper bitch. Even though she ran most of the fight the satisfaction of beating her was fucking amazing.
Yesterday, I tried 3 times to beat her final phase, didn't get past the bullet hell segment. Today, in the morning, I decided to give it a try. I beat her without any KOs, and got through her parry phase easily. "Some rely on skill, some on luck. Fools, the lot of them." You just have to rely on both.
You can hear the sweet and satisfying Turbo Killer and Roller Mobster beats if you listen carefully! Carpenter Brut brings some legendary music to the table as always!
This was the only track in game that was as genius as The Toxic Avangers ones, and better that was bad-ass from start to end with no long-winded beggining. Pure A+.
Khalid Faisal I saw her as a cheater b/c sometimes the walls would go down, and since when you get to a wall while she’s aiming she’ll immediately shoot which instantly kills you w/ no way to dodge
@@handsomegrinch6279 Technically, it's been stated that the Rider is somehow invincible, but he still has a limit to the amount of pain he can endure at a time. We don't respawn. We only wake up again.
@@JackOfSomeTrades29 I think it's more like, they cannot kill you because doing so is worse than keeping you alive. If the rider dies, the mothership knows, and would probably launch an attack, killing the planet. If they kept him alive forever, the mothership will continue waiting forever, basically delaying the invasion for so long that it no longer matters.
Idk if you listened to more Carpenter Brut in the 4 years after but I really hope you did because this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to intensity in their music
My favorite boss in the game. She was so freaking fun to fight against, it never felt unfair like with the other guardians, and gosh her soundtrack was so hyping, just as expected from C.Brute.

Frantic, yet hopeful. Isn't that how this entire fight feels? The Burst may be clever, but only because she'd be nothing without her weapons and gadgets. Her win streak is coming to an end - it's not a game anymore.
Dukurow It starts in a quite ominous and frantic way. Then by 4:00 it feels like there's a light at the end of the tunnel. And then, by 5:27 hits the climax. Interestingly enough, if you watch a fight against The Burst with no player's KOs, you'll realize that part sounds when the bullet hell part of her final phase ends. Perfectly fitting, as is the sound of turning the tables in a fight that was set the odds against you.
Whatever people say, I enjoyed this boss the most even despite the last phase bullshit. It was such a nice twist on the formula making you the hunted one.
Interesting tip: your parry is bound to the boss's position at all times, so you can use your parry to find which direction she ran off to.

The burst treats this as a game, an oppurtinity to test her limits and only near the end does she realise that she is in too deep. This song represents the intensity due to the change of roles. Unlike the hand or the song who are just trying to protect earth. The burst is trying to hunt you down
"On a scale of 1 to 10, she's an 11, and she'd give herself a 12."
" lets take this to the next level!"
+Melon Man hated that part soooo much
I like the way you take me out of my comfort-zone
Thats such a good line.
+Bradley Hayes It really is.
I love this game. It made me feel like a bad ass taking on all these powerful guardians. The incredible music was icing on the cake :D
Indeed
BlazeWolfdx90 Yup definitely!
+ro32643 u sound high as fuck
abominator13 maybe
Such an awesome song. I loved this game so much. Shame it's not getting much exposure. Even IGN hasn't reviewed the game yet for some reason
yeah really strange!
they haven't beat the chain yet
They probably can't beat the game to review it that's why :P
Haha probably
they reviewed it and only gave it a 6.8 basically coz its too hard and the boss fights are repetitive and they have set patterns, even though thats the whole point!
The choir in the background near the end is SO GOOD.
One of the most fun, beautiful, and challenging games I've played to date. I still find myself going back and replaying it from time to time just to get my ass handed to me even though I memorized all bosses move sets.
Lol! She is good amirite?
Oh cool now I don't have to keep watching the trailer to listen to this.
Right this song was the reason i went after this from the trailer :)
Trailer's version is actually a little bit different than this one.
Still blows my mind after 7yr 🤯🤯🤯how amazing this game is
This is my favorite boss theme in the game, and one of my favorite pieces of video game music of all time.
It's surely this same train of thought which leads to an ending that isn't assimilation.
.This IMO is the best boss theme.any person who beat this game know all too well her desperation theme when it kicks in at 4:33
2:43 *GOD* i love this part.
I found this song because of a meme that had this section blasting with a video of a cat that had wide ass eyes just looking back and forth all panicked
That part has to be the best part of the song next to 5:25
Yes. Just Yes!
Furis such an underrated game
Architect: Burst, you will be next.
Burst: I see. What a shame.
Architect: What, you were hoping to be sooner?
Burst: No, it's a shame that so many of you will die because you chose to go before me.
Song: You know that pride goes before a fall, do you not?
Burst: Everything you do goes before your fall. You might as well revel in it.
Chain: Ha ha ha! I like this one!
This comment is Gold! 😩😩
MattheJ1's extra lore adds so much when you're listening to this soundtrack and is emblematic of how interesting the game's characters are despite all of the enemies being on screen for ~10 minutes
Listening to this song without having played Furi, hearing Burst and Architect in the same sentence made me think of Ghostrunner first thing lmao
0:46 As the 2 Guardians show up, everyone focuses on them with knowing that HE is arriving soon to take the land he wanted, and with his enormous strength just from a scream, the towers are in big trouble.
Void/Tower Battles:Battlefront
bruh i CANNOT escape this game
"Our arrows... will blot out the sun!" ".....UH-OH"
What's funny is this is the first game where I can't choose a favorite boss fight I loved them all
Even the Sewer boss? I hated that one.
Yes lol even him
Same! Each and every one was very unique and awesome.
+Kroatowa loved*
"I like the way you take me out of my comfort zone"
*Taps Square Furiously*
Heh, at least take me out to dinner first, lady.
This is a good comment, I’m copying it.
these comments though xD
There is a line between video game soundtrack and absolute banger, carpenter brut snorted that line
That line is very often non existent
Yesterday, I tried 3 times to beat her final phase, didn't get past the bullet hell segment.
Today, in the morning, I decided to give it a try. I beat her without any KOs, and got through her parry phase easily.
"Some rely on skill, some on luck. Fools, the lot of them." You just have to rely on both.
You need only skill. Her pattern is completely fixed. Sometimes it helps to charge your dodge a little to jump over two waves at once.
The music, the fight, the cocky opponent, how could I not love this?
I gues I'll have to buy this game now
It's free for ps4 if you have ps plus.
if your a member, hurry b4 the offer expires
Just freakin' love the parts at 4:05 and 5:26.
Not to mention the first ten seconds leading up to the latter. Good stuff.
0:46 1:54 so do i
I don't even know what Furi is. I just love this song.
I love how this song pushes me out of my comfort zones!
On a scale of 1 to 10, this song is an 11, and I'd give it a 12.
Underrated comment
Literally every Carpenter Brut song/remix is epic. This is no exception. 😎
Damn straight!
fucking A !!!
Best show I have ever seen. Face melted off. Now all the kids make fun of me. 10/10 Would do again.
Ok, I'd give this comment a like but the emoji really ruined it for me!
@@catmaster7370 reddit moment
You can hear the sweet and satisfying Turbo Killer and Roller Mobster beats if you listen carefully! Carpenter Brut brings some legendary music to the table as always!
This was the only track in game that was as genius as The Toxic Avangers ones, and better that was bad-ass from start to end with no long-winded beggining. Pure A+.
That the track suddenly turns intimidating and deeper makes it stand out.
2:40 3:35
How strange, that I never noticed it while playing.
"You beat her at her own game! Meh. She was a cheater anyway."
It’s a bite ironic cause where the ones respawning and all the bosses don’t respawn when they are killed
Khalid Faisal I saw her as a cheater b/c sometimes the walls would go down, and since when you get to a wall while she’s aiming she’ll immediately shoot which instantly kills you w/ no way to dodge
Cheating*
@@handsomegrinch6279 Technically, it's been stated that the Rider is somehow invincible, but he still has a limit to the amount of pain he can endure at a time.
We don't respawn. We only wake up again.
@@JackOfSomeTrades29 I think it's more like, they cannot kill you because doing so is worse than keeping you alive. If the rider dies, the mothership knows, and would probably launch an attack, killing the planet. If they kept him alive forever, the mothership will continue waiting forever, basically delaying the invasion for so long that it no longer matters.
3:11 i’ve never heard a more intense thing in my life. This part of the song kicked my balls off and demanded my apology
Idk if you listened to more Carpenter Brut in the 4 years after but I really hope you did because this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to intensity in their music
this game is a masterpiece, it gaves me some much great feelings i never felt before. thanks for everything furi, sincerely.
My favorite boss in the game. She was so freaking fun to fight against, it never felt unfair like with the other guardians, and gosh her soundtrack was so hyping, just as expected from C.Brute.
In my opinion this is the most beautiful musical theme of the whole game; it gave me an incredible charge; amazing ...
God I love the switch up at 4:04 so much
Ok, can we all just agree it's one of carpenter BEST SONGS ??..
The final bullet hell phase combined with the last part of the song is the best experience in this game
4:05 one of the best things i have ever heard. feels like moving with high speed
Dunkey giving this game the recognition it deserves. Glad he also praised the soundtrack highly.
I'll never forget this game, or its soundtrack, it introduced me to a bunch of awesome music artists
The best Boss fight after Boss fight game that has ever existed... and the music is sublime..
Astounding. I have no words.
Let's take this game to the next eargasm level.
This is popping up all the time on my TH-cam channel and I listen to it at work way too much lol. Still haven't even played the game but I'm gonna get really excited when I get to this part when I DO get it
Frantic, yet hopeful.
Well, SHE was in despair at the end of the fight, since you the player ended whooping her smug ass.
Whatever people say, I enjoyed this boss the most even despite the last phase bullshit. It was such a nice twist on the formula making you the hunted one.
I love what he does with the bass in this
This song is absolutely insane and amazing at the same time
why do I like this crazy song so much, cant stop the endless replays, battle theme deluxe
This track is one of the reasons why I bought this game.
5:13 IS FUCKING INTENSE definently my favourite part
Never played this game but I'm obsessed with the soundtrack!
one of the greatest boss fights in gaming history. excellent music combined with great mechanics.. just wow
Thanks TH-cam for putting this is my mix.
1:54 Best parts of the song, wish this was used more in it.
