My son, Bill, goes to gorgeous, tiny, little special needs school for gorgeous special children. Bill and his friends there all need just a little more care, attention, love and guidance to help them access friendships and education. Bill has autism (and a variety of other issues such as Sensory Processing Disorder, ADD, Dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay and Klinefelters Syndrome) and most of his school mates have similar challenges as well as Dyslexia across the board. Bill's school is woefully underfunded for a variety of reasons that would take pages of text to explain. The teachers aren't well paid yet they are constantly buying supplies the children need that most pupils don't require; such as pen grips and fiddle toys to aid concentration etc...I have been fundraising for a few years now and with your help have managed to help subsidise school trips, buy sensory room equipment, Occupational Therapy equipment, outdoor tables and chairs, a trampoline...and a mini bus!! #billsspecialbus 🤩 We have a lot to pay for as the school moved premises and taken on more pupils. This is all amazing news but means the pressure is on financially. All this fundraising helps a phenomenal school that has given so many children a future they would not have been able to access. Thank you so much for any kind of support you give us.

We have a farmer in the making. My brother in law works on a farm. My 7yr old nephew is obsessed with tractors and farm machinery, so much that some of his bantams are named after them, ones called loader and there's John Deere and I think Massey? Anyways my sis, brother in law and my nephew were having a natter with brother in laws boss. The boss asked my nephew if he was going to work on the farm for him when he was older, to which my nephew replied "oh no, I'm going to do your job" 😍 I love that boy 🤣

If the yarn is superwash maybe warm/hot water will melt the wax as well. It may be worth a try for the small balls of yarn.

I enjoyed your walk in the woods in the rain as my husband and I did exactly the same yesterday! It rained all morning and by early afternoon we were fed up of being indoors so walked up to the woods and the smell was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Pick off what you can then spread out + cover with brown paper then iron it. The wax should be absorbed in to the paper.

I too hate these dark mornings! Normally in the summer I can be up before dawn without any problem but as it is darker now I get up later and seem to lose half a day.. So upset for your yarn. I hope you can save some of it. I think freezing it is a good start. Please let us all know how you get on dear Cuckoo. This video was such fun and a lovely catch up too. Have been missing your videos too. I hope your decorating goes well as it is so hard to cope with everything scattered in various rooms and trying to find something in the midst of it all. Half of my home is already packed up pending my house move which is taking so long with this backlg in the housing market which we currently have. Never mind, it will happen sometime but not right now! I have also fluffed up something on TH-cam so am using another computer to leave my comment. Oh Gayna, your poor yarn! My first thought was freezer, then maybe gently soak it in some hot water so the wax melts and floats to the top? Hope you manage to salvage some of it! xx
Oh dear!! So sorry about the leaking wax!! I once poured the melted wax from a candle into/onto my daughter's very nice suede Hobo handbag 🙄😬😒... Accidentally, of course! It never recovered! Good luck with the yarn, Gayna!

So lovely to see you, oh, no, not your yarn! Yes, think the freezer method then greaseproof paper and iron or maybe immerse it in a bowl of fairly warm water with washing powder x💕
Try the microwave oven for the little round bits, for liquifying and then unrolling it in a mini skein for the ironing technique with an absorbing paper ?

What an absolute delightful surprise to find these videos today! I can't wait to get caught up! Also, I have to tell you that I was planning to finally make your yorkshire pudding recipe this Sunday when we received an unexpected invitation for proper British afternoon tea with some British neighbors! I'm so delighted. Obviously I just knew that Sunday was supposed to be a day of celebrating "across the pond" style one way or another. :)
