How To Replace Blower Motor Resistor Mercury Marauder | Crown Vic | Town Car | Grand Marquis Panther

My A/C would only blow at the absolute highest speed of the blower mower when using the fan speed knob….anything lower than full blast and the blower motor wasn’t working. Because it worked at full blast told me it probably wasn’t the blower motor itself… the resistor solved the issues
This is for cars with automatic climate control
Fits 98-11 Crown Victoria / 97-02 Town Car / 98-11 Grand Marquis / 03-04 Marauder Replace
Yours may be a little different but mine is a 2003 Mercury Marauder. I did run in to some delays but overall not a bad job at all to do.

@@wlwal1 i personally would not. Two seperate parts with two seperate issues. If your fan speed didnt work at all then i would but if it only works on one setting then just the resistor should do the trick
