Thanks for the feedback 👍
Thank You very much Andy! My 2008 Trailblazer's blower motor stopped completely yesterday and your video definitely helped a lot! You broke it down nicely!
Awesome, glad it helped
@@PhillipsVision Yes. I replaced the resistor this morning and it was indeed the problem! All good now!
Great video. Helped me out today on my 08 having to replace the resistor. I really like how you show you actually disconnecting everything instead of like some videos they explain it, but skip the actual work to show how easy or hard it is to get to.
@@nicedreams726 thanks for the feedback, glad the video was helpful 👍
You are correct and great at explaining. Absolutely the best!!! Please keep making videos.
Thanks for the feedback
Thanks for helping me get this damn'd thing changed! Word to the wise...check the wires on the pigtail that's connected to it! 2 of the wires on my pigtail were melted and burnt! A 1/2 an hour job took me an hour and a half to complete. Had to replace pigtail and re-wire but all is good!
Great job. You went step by step clearly explaining how to remove and replace the blower , kudos to you brother 🎉
Thank you, glad it helped 👍
Thank you so much you broke this video down so easy that anyone could understand it don't get no easier than this Gr8 job.
Thanks, glad it was helpful 👍
Thank You so very much!! I really appreciate you posting this!!! I have fixed the one on my Taurus but opening the glove box was definitely not the same. This was by far the most detailed instructional video ever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you
Thanks for the feedback, glad it was helpful
Thank you for this video. Experiencing the same issues with my trailblazer and really hoping this is the issue. Seems like a very easy fix (especially with your detailed video).
Update: install complete and running perfectly
Great video hope to see you in more videos about working on trucks and cars soon.
You do a very good job of explaining.
Thank you
Did a very great job showing the process mine just went out same day watch the video got it all done thank great video
Awesome, glad it helped 👍
Summers here look likes a easy fix thanks a million
The motor resistor was burned so it took a while to get the main line unattached but got and it was still good. Thanks 🙏. It works. Thanks to you!!! ❤
Muy buen video ! Agradezco bastante por este video, no pedo agradecerle en ingles pero muchas gracias ,su video es bastante claro y no se necesita el idioma para entenderlo muchas gracias y Dios lo bendiga!
That was a big help i have the same problem with my TB thank you.
Excellent video
Excellent!
Great video thx for sharing
Yup
That was perfect, thank you..
Thanks I think that's my problem to do my husband is changing mines
Love your video, I'm going to do what you just did to my 2002 4x4 envoy. Now, only the heat is coming out. Do you think this will fix my problem not having cool Air? Please help me. Thank you for your video
The blower motor will usually affect the switch settings. If the switches are working fine but just the a/c not working, it could be the compressor.
Excellent! Wish you were in Az. Have you do mine
Does it also effect the vent selector once it burns out? I hear no movement when I change selector from floor to defog ect.. & no air started on 5 the 4 died slowly until nothing?
I changed this on my Trailblazer and the blower stayed on even when the car was off. Could you tell me what to do?
How can you tell if it's the blower or the blower resistor
well done andy tks;
Help! I have a 2006 Trailblazer SS. I replaced the resistors, climate control and the blower motor still works. But I can’t control the heat setting. I’ve also checked all the fuse.
@@facethao7983 “can’t control the heat setting” meaning the temperature? Is it not blowing hot?
@ while driving I can still feel the heat coming from the vents but the fan settings from 1 to 5 is not working. In other word I can’t control the fan speed
@ check the connections and wires between the blower motor and resistor
@@PhillipsVision we’ll do thanks.
I did mine worked for like 10 min . But once started driving 5 stopped working then 4 , and now it only works on 1 to 4. . Weird smell is coming out too. Tried the Ac pro ting and wouldn't take it. Any thoughts that can help .. thanks
The smell could be caused by a dirty cabin filter or a leak in your a/c system. The failing controls could be a bad or poor quality blower motor resistor
#5 is on a separate circuit. It's fused separately. That fuse would blow if your blower motor is drawing too many amps.
My HVAC controls are automatic, which I hate. Do you know if it's possible to remove them, and swap them out for manual controls like your car has?
I’ve never tried it, but I’m sure it’s possible with the right engineering and knowledge
Followed step by step, but my 4 isn't working still. I thought it was the resistor so i took it back and installed another. But same thing. What could that be? I mean the others work so not the biggest deal. Just wonder could i have done something wrong?
Is the wire to the resistor get hot while you turn on the ac
You the man sister has heat
Thanks
my blower ain't working on no settings 1 through 5 but also my lights on my air button and the light on my rear defroster ain't lighting up either I checked all the fuses in both boxes under the back seat and under the hood so I wonder if this still would be my problem ?
It could be the Resistor, but could also be the blower motor itself
Do you have to disable the passenger airbag? Or can you just do it as is?
I just did it as is
So I recently replaced the same part you are changing on a 2007,
No what is a burns out the next day.
May have been a defective part
Old one looks like automatic climate control digital version. New one looks like the manual style. You get the wrong one?
No, that is the exact GM replacement
Mine blower goes on and off while driving the blower will turn off it won't blow on low high medium nothing
