I just got this game yesterday. I'm at rosa Isabelle St. but it's my first souls like game, and it's been pretty challenging so far, but damn the story is not only good, but the gameplay is awesome.
A TH-camr that goes by The Inhuman One. Suggests that the DLC might revolve around Frankenstein. From the pictures, it seems it's near the Arctic. With the Nothern Lights and frozen environment being a dead giveaway. However, I wonder if the DLC might include Toy Land or the Monad Charity House. Since those two places are only mentioned, we never set foot in either location. However, if it does take place in the Artics. Then it would be a strange place for Toy Land let alone an orphanage house.
@dutchdragongaming8676 haven't seen the video, but I've seen the theory. One of the interesting things in the stills to me is P doesn't have Gemini attached to him. And the frost brings my mind back to the first cinematic trailer where Krat is snow-covered, and Geppetto is going to find something in a graveyard. It ends with Geppetto waking up his puppet. Maybe time travel shenanigans where we go back to that time and Geppetto takes the role of Dr. Frankenstein?
@@rickytebbe I think that Gemini might be taken, in fact, by the Legendary Stalker or perhaps someone else. And that we need to level up differently with a different power source. Kinda like in the Elden Ring DLC where you need to gather those Scadutree Fragments. Perhaps the Lies of P DLC will do something similar. That could also prevent players from being overleved and steamrolling the DLC. And I don't think Sophia's powers reach outside of Krat. Because that broken Stargazer is the only one that has a Golden Bird instead of Blue Butterflies. So perhaps Sophia's mom (Isabella) might be our Listener for the DLC or someone else. And we have to use the DLC's unique currency. But I don't think Geppetto is Dr. Frankenstein or that there will be time-travel stuff involved. If anything Geppetto might want to learn from Frankenstein on how to bring people back from the dead.
Looking down towards Krat from the path to the cathedral, you can see an area on the far left that matches the DLC concept art. All the areas you can see are accessible in the main game, but that area is the only one you can't access. You can see snow-covered mountains behind that area, and there is a ship floating on the nearby shore. I assume that the DLC background was already created during the production of the main game.
I beat it about a week ago and it was amazing that should take time and make it polished like the base game. I got no doubt it’s going to be really good.
Just started playing Lies of P last week and it has become one of my favorite souls games. Funny thing was I was wondering if the studio would make more souls like games. Off the top of my head, I thought Wizard of Oz could be a cool take, and behold it is teased as a potential sequel or spin-off… Other ideas though were taking on the darker stories from classic children’s stories; such as Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast, etc…
I absolutely adore this game and I'm really anticipating the DLC. I'm sorry curious to see if they can improve. I just really hope they don't pull a SotE and put difficulty before fun.
@@Mamotraxer21 I don't really have an issue with any AoE attacks in ER. I'm talking specifically about things like Radahn X slash combo, Metyr laser and just an overall lack of polish that becomes increasingly more apparent as you increase the difficulty. Things like the elevation in Radahn's arena making certain attacks unavoidable in certain situations or Bayles fire breath bouncing and hitting you in ways you cannot prevent. Basically, my thing view is make it as hard as you want but FFS make it fair and consistent. That's all I ask.
Thats an atrocious take bro elden ring dlc except mesmer and radahn was easy af if you just explore instead of charging in headfirst to the final boss at fucking scadu level 7
@@rickytebbe I think they are avoiding the timing of the ER DLC and waiting for the hype of Wukong to die down which is coming soon. I'm looking forward to hearing something at Gamescom on August 20th.
@Littlewings_P Gamescom is definitely a big one to keep an eye on. Lies of P had a big presence there last couple of years, and NeoWiz is going to be there again this year

Just got the game 11 days ago and already beaten it 3 times. It a very well done soul like game. Can't wait for the dlc.
Lol I swear Ive been playing the game on and off for almost 2 months hah. Defo gonna beat it a couple more times after I beat it tho...

I predict a trailer for DLC will come on the games anniversary on 19th september.
Weird that there is still no trailer, it's probably coming in 2025
Well tbf, they just released LoP anyway. So I won't be too impatient
it's said it would release in second half of 2024. I'm predicting it to come in november and a trailer to come out in september or october
It will be ready when it's ready!
Bought it a week ago and already got 45h on it. I really hope we'll see more of Lies of P.
Elden ring bloodborne and lies of p have a special place in my heart and in my opinion the greatest souls game ever made
Appreciate the effort for this video and the info you crammed.
Perfect timing for this video. I just finished my second playthrough.

After loving the ER DLC I’m incredibly hyped for the LoP DLC as well. Feels like a great time for ‘soulslikes’

P really is a beautiful game. I hope they come up with something soon.
Probably not this year since we haven't gotten a trailer or pretty much anything except the two pictures
They could drop the trailer on the one year anniversary, though I feel like that could make sense
@@GnatGames that possible too I thought that lies of p was already 1 year old no?
