@@NikolasKatsenis I don’t think it is, in some of the early dlc promo images it showed p in the some of the areas. I honestly think Dorothy is the next game.
@@NikolasKatsenisI doubt the dlc brings you a totally different controllable character and setting etc., I think the dlc will still be p. I think the sequel will be oz :)
Yea I’m just annoyed that big TH-camrs got sponsored by lords of the fallen so they were crapping on lies of p to boast lords of the fallen. Sellouts like fighting cowboy and ziostrom
Feel exactly the same, i don't know that i can ever go back to any Fromsoft game except maybe Bloodborne. Lies of P simply fixes almost all my qualms with Fromsoft's and Miyazaki's sadism.
This game makes me feel something I have never felt. It makes me yearn for a time period that I wish I was born in. I was never aware of the French period where pretty much everything in that area at the time was peaceful, perfect, yet even overindulgent. Such beautiful music. The emotions, the brilliance. This game is a bastion of love and perfection within the team that has crafted this. We are spoiled.
There is no rush on the DLC at all. I am stoked for it and can't wait but the main game was so glitch free and well made, it took me back to the days before constant internet updates and early access were the norm. Lies of P was the first game i had played in a very, very long time, until Wukong, that felt like a genuine labor of love and not some product. I love the original so much i played through it over ten times, getting the platinum on PS5 and all the achievements on the Xbox X version too. Take your time, Neowiz.
Let them cook! I mean , the games i have been so hyped for and it took many years to come alive never disappoint: lies of p and black myth wukong are a solid example ❤
Right the more time put into it the better it should be Black myth was pretty mid overall but compared to recent games it dunks on most games released the past 2 years
It's been a while since I played Lies of P and I only finished it thrice to get the platinum, looks like I need to brush up my gameplay to prepare for the DLC.
In the base game, there is a stargazer that is inactive. It is rusted, green and has a crow on top. This will more than likely be where you access the DLC. The stargazer further gives away the Wizard of Oz theme. It is rusted, like the Tin Man, has a crow on it, to give a semblance the Scarewcrow (also the “patient” you meet at the Abbey) and it is green, like the Emerald City. Having said that, I’d rather see a Wizard of Oz theme as the next main game instead.
Guys, think I'm crazy, but I think I know where the lighthouse is! If you stand on the Bridge of Sins before you go to the Chapel of St Frangelico, you can see the Venigni Works and part of Krat. When the Venigni Works are in front of you, look to the left. There you will see an area with buildings that we don't go to in the whole game and if you look very closely, there is a lighthouse on the coast. Does it sound plausible that the DLC will take us there?
No one calls him "P" in game, true, but the game directors and devs call him "P" in interviews and promotional material. If it works for them, it works for me.
When you go to the broken stargazer there is a golden bird on top of it whick reminds me of the golden bird tale from the Brothers Grimm it could be a clue
Isn't there a children's story about a lighthouse wonder if its based on that like lighthouse keeper or something like that. Just a theory on why there is a lighthouse in the image
I preordered this game after playing the demo and it is some of the best money I have ever spent. It became my favorite game ever made, beating DS3 and Sekiro. So whenever I get the chance to pre order the DC I'm doing it!!!!!
Let them cook, but i really hope dlc bosses are not based on nameless puppet difficulty. Even the electric boss was a skill check for most players from her insane speed. Challenge does make for better reward but i dont wanna feel more stressed than entertained to the point i only complete the dlc once then never go back to it. For example Elden ring upped the anti abit too much for me so i finished the entire map ove 2/3 playthroughs but now i tend to avoid that dlc map on future play throughs since was too stressful.
Rapunzel!!!! Or at least that would be my guess Since we know that they are taking inspiration from old Fairy Tales and stories Rapunzel fits this perfectly.
We better get it in 2024. As much as I ADORED lies of P, every game company has to earn trust for me. I trust they CAN make a great game, but absolute silence on dlc for an entire year and then the potential of it being delayed are NOT very untrustworthy actions. They are not fromsoft and they have not built that level of trust where they can get away with stuff like that without frustration and resentment from fans.
@@theeliteterrarian1888 an announcement to your investors, esp from a business perspective, IS a public announcement of release and arguably an equal obligation as an actual date would be to fans. They have told the public that the dlc is to release in the second half of 2024. Just because it’s directed at investors does not exclude it as a public announcement for fans as well.
@slimcognito7777 I gotta disagree in this case. The context in the earnings report, its presentation, and its disclaimer make pretty clear it was an estimate and nothing concrete or binding. Even with that, had they put a specific date in there, I'd lean more to your side. But such a wide range as "second half of 2024" just screams guesstimate.
@@rickytebbe okay, agree to disagree. You give a time frame you don’t meet to release a product, you disappoint. Not just in games industry. That’s my perspective. Makes no sense to do if you don’t actually know. I do not see it as a trustworthy act and it’s hard to see how you could qualify it as one.
Looks like we've got a release window narrowed down from 1st half to Q1 of 2025 th-cam.com/video/HbP0RW7FetU/w-d-xo.html

Take all the time they need to make a quality DLC to go with their amazing base game. Patience is a virtue. Don’t push out something undone.
DUDE I CANNOT WAIT FOR BOTH THE DLC & SEQUEL
Lies was such an amazing game
Lies of P is quite literally my favorite souls game ever. and yes, souls, not souls like; Lies of P stands amongst Fromsoft Greatness in my mind.
Agreed playing it again I'm like on my 7th play through love this game!

I will always prefer the "Let them cook" than "GIVE IT TO ME NOW!" mindset. Patient gamers make for pretty products (that're actually functional too).
Lies of p is my first soulslike game and the experience was the mind blowing i never had experience this much fun in any game ❤❤❤

My twin dragon sword is ready to parry all the new bosses.
I played Lies of P in UEVR on a quest 3 with a 6900xt and it was incredible.
I would love when the DLC is about Carlo and his death
