A lot of people saying there's luck involved in the second phase, particularly with avoiding the fire attack - but here's how to consistently approach it (the same way I did in the video). The boss can cast the fire attack at roughly half HP or below, and is pretty much guaranteed to do so when you stagger the boss. So at that point, you want to space out your heavy attacks and make sure you don't stun the boss during that time. As soon as you see it casting the fire attack animation, go for the stagger and fatal attack, this will cancel the fire attack, and allow you to do the fight safely without it. I used this approach multiple times, and it works the same every time.

From what I noticed his weapon was a lot like the tonitrus but still pretty cool. This game is the best souls game I see so far after ER
Yeah it was nice to see a souls like game that isnt medevial fantasy
With his technique I finally managed to kill him. with that you got my sub!
Pinocchio really wanted all the smoke
I just sucked ass for at least 25 tries at first, and then here comes this guy, making it look ez...
Get your PHUCKING hand away from me! -P 😂
I tried doing this and he killed me in 2 seconds.
For anyone also wondering what the song the King of Puppets reaches his hand out to it's Coppelia Act I Valse. Just wish there was an extended version of it. Also does anyone know what instrument is being used?
Also the ballet it's from is about a man who falls in love with a lifesize dancing doll x3
Why are people saying "it's luck"? He could very easily defeat the boss, even taking damage. He has his merits!
Alright. Imma try your weapon combination and legion arm. Looking good 👍🏻
Dang. So good ole dodge left, huh? That I can do and frankly, am embarrassed for not having tried.
Their battle will be legendary
King of Puppets: respectful that invite you to dance without attacking or something else and a fine person
P: disrespectful slapped the king hand he only invite to dance without attack
SPOILER ALERT: this hits a whole new wave of depressing when you learn Pinocchio just killed his best friend. especially since he warned you of gepetto's plan.
The 2nd phase is the combination of Radagon, Malenia and Maliketh
+Blackflame Friede
I beat this boss last night and turned off the game, when I walked into my bedroom my wife said hello gigachad for some reason, when I looked in the mirror I noticed my chin and chest grew several inches after beating the King of Puppets 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
He makes it look so easy
The ost in phase 2 is something from legends
I'm still stuck to this boss. I don't know how this guy's timing is insane
Eso must be part machine himself 😮
Damn what a fuckin beat down.
His second phase just ruins me but I have been dodging right instead of left lol
How do you dash like that instead of rolling? 😮
Love to see there's someone beat this boss by dodge darksouls-bloodborne game style
1:37 was my favorite moment in this game :D
I’ve been losing for the past 3 hours so here I am ❤
Beat this guy 3rd try somehow. I don’t know what possessed my body but perfect parried every single attack 2nd phase😂 Never happening again.
Man, I would love for this game to have a a Jedi Fallen Order/Survivor sandbox mode where you can drop characters in and practice fighting them with certain parameters like infinite health or something. Just to practice attack and defend methods/perfect guards, etc. outside the context of the game.
When I tell u my yaw dropped during the second phase. It gave me Ludwig vibes.
Romeo feels like a good old bloodborne boss
Holy shit that Romeo phase
You got seriously lucky RnG in that 2nd phase
I don’t understand this game. And I like it.
I wish Romeo's boss theme was on the OST
I always figure the king was trying to warn us of what gepetto had planned. Maybe induce us to join him
BRO SAID I WANT ALL THE SMOKE
I was struggling so bad. Try beat the first phase with the spectre and electric coil stick then in the second phase i used the cube to revive the spectre. With his attention is on him i just threw acid bombs and everything else i had. Yes im a big P**** 😂 but got him done 🎉
A kill is a kill 👏 👏 👏
@@IconOfSin thanks 😀
How u use cube to revive
@@willscooter277 the dude with the hat beside the gold coin tree sells a thing for 2 tree coins that doesn't revive the phantom but allows it to survive death & heal, works "for a fixed time" after using the cube.
You have to be hyper aggressive in the first phase to get the phantom to survive all the AOE etc. Then I imagine pop the cube right at the start of phase 2. Dodge to your left always.
@@IconOfSin yes my bad doesn't revive him but heals the spectres health
Daaaaamn bro you make it looks like EASYYYYYY
Anyone know the cutscene song when king of puppets lands on the floor? 1:24
Coppeila-suite act
