I have been thinking about getting some too, to play with, but have been concerned about the fire danger here in Colorado over the last few weeks. As you mentioned, being a firefighter yourself, you are prepared for this. What did you do to prepare? Just wondering.
Where did you purchase the targets? "Advanced Weapons" in Westcliff is the only distributor in Colorado.
Also, nice new RedWolf! I love the stock! Is that part of your winnings from EBR?

To prepare I basically just grabbed my response radio in order to stand the responders down in case anyone called it in. I get these online. Advanced Weapons is right near me. I've been in there but, their prices seem to be high. The Heritage Red Wolf is not from my winning at EBR but, the fact that I won with a Red Wolf pushed me over the edge to get myself one. Glad I did too! Happy Shooting!

Tom, does the daystate redwolf hp electronic programmer also work in the heritage version?
Yes. The heritage has the same board in it as the non-heritage versions.

Hey nice video. Question, I got me some of the 65's, but 4 rounds from my Benjamin Marauder wouldn't set them off, even from like 30 feet away. Pellets either just stuck in the cases or cracked it. I was using hollowpoints .22 pellet rounds... Any advice or thoughts on why mine didn't explode? Gun not powerful enough? Hollowpoints bad? Thanks!
What were you using for a backstop? These need to be stuck to a hard surface, like metal, to work properly.
@@Atoyota25 thanks for the quick response… I actually attached it to one side of my solid metal outdoor pellet trap. I only tried one exploding disc so far because it got dark here but will try some more tmmrw
I actually got it to work by using a different pellet... it didnt seem to like the hollow points. I tried with a Gamo Hunter and holy s*** - these things are LOUD!!! Like so loud there is no way I can shoot these around my house.... but was worth it !

Tom, the Heritage looks gorgeous. Which model accu tec was that?, I have the Red wolf hp and Saber buddy clamp, but can’t decide on which accu tec to get to finish it off, yours looked the exact right height for a bench👍
I believe that's the BR4-G2 in the video. I used the BR4-G2 to win EBR in 2021.
@@Atoyota25 Hi Tom, yea I’ve watch the video on how you won and you said you left your fc-4 g2 in the truck. Have you seen the prs extended rail for the Red wolf. Better than drilling that quality stock.

does it blow apart the 2 by 4 when they explode?

I think my covered deck amplified the sound. Once I figured that out, I realized I technically should have had ear protection on.
Will these work with .177 ?? What is fps you need to make them work? Charlie's blasting caps are nice to if you get that 100-125psi the swat team came asking where is my fully automatic 😆 I told them it was only pellet gun. They must draw straws cuz 1 came up & I come outside with my hands up all sudden 4 more come out woodwork💩 I'd like sample those side by side with my blast caps🤘
I don't have a 177 to test them with. I would suspect they would have a hard time with a 12ftlb rifle but, I think a 177 traveling at around 900 or so would activate them due to the way they are designed to work.
