For real! It can totally be life-changing. Just think about how freeing it is to let go of those heavy feelings. It opens up so many opportunities for positivity and growth.
I love the way Mel puts all her ideas and thoughts in a simple and easy way to understand. Her new book is a modern version of Stoicism. Great message to start a new year. Keep up all your great work Mel.
My heart is literally beating at a very elevated yet pleasant rate...I'm not even finished the podcast(around min. 43)and I've had the most profound shift in understanding the Power I have and have always had...thank you both! A challenging year last year with huge shifts and changes in my life but THIS made me finally realized how much Power I was giving others over ME. I had already started walking away from toxic dynamics and setting boundaries but this frames all that differently. Not to mention I WAS having a REALLY lousy day in Montreal before clicking on this. Again, Thank You Mel and Jay.
PLEASE STOP I watch both of you every morning, what a wonderful video and way to continue 2025. LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you guys together. Thank you both.
I finished reading Ann Napolitano’s Hello Beautiful shortly before listening to this…I kept thinking throughout the whole book; why can’t Julia just love William the way he is!
I admire people like Mel and Jay who are so passionate about helping others by sharing their stories and ideas that I’ve decided to strive to become more like them myself. I used to be someone filled with fear and anxiety, but people like Mel, Jay, and others (Tony Robbins, Jamie Kern Lima, Ed Mylett, to name a few) have helped me to become a person who is filled with love for others, free from the fears and anxieties I once had. Thank you so much! I love you, and I will continue to share my own stories and your ideas to help others grow.
Mel, I'm so glad you brought up "the money for everything" line Jay said. What a clever way to look at your personal worth and then where to invest, solely on what is best for you. Your gem Mel, let them be disappointed. Its a compliment you can hold onto when youre sad about the situation. You flipped, what could be a stressful situation, into a positive one! Wow, that total scenario got turned on its ass! Brilliant. I think this is the most insightful and coherent podcast I've ever watched. You two work off eachother well. Thx for stimulating my brain for a change, refreshing. Hey, gonna follow both of ya now. Cheers. You're both worth my energy and time!
I use the just let them all the time. Now. It is your legacy because it has a huge impact in people's lives if they just adopt what you're saying. Thanks for being alive. You're a gem!❤
Such an eye opening podcast, I didn’t know how unconscious we are about our behaviour and wasting energy every single day. Thank you Jay for doing such great work to help people.🙏🌸✨❤️
Thank both of you! ❤❤ "Let them" is a mindful sttategy! When you "let them", it totally removes the urge from the other part to fight against you. You know, if you insist or try to get something, the other part (if is in the mood) creates the opposition or resistance towards your hopes, but if you vibration tells: "Let you..." there is nothing that the other part can resist or oppose. Hopefully I made my point.
Its like Jay just decided to get something for me I've been living my whole life trying to stress out on how people treat me and its been hard to just concentrate on my business and just this year i had this decision of wanting to LIVE for me finally and this is my guidance Grateful to have come here this morning
Thank you so much for writing this book! By the end of the book, I realized that I had learned more from your writing than I have in the past 10 years of my individual therapy! I am going to continue learning more about this on your TH-cam talks…
I love this methode because i've been practiceing it without even realiseing it..... I think life and expirience teaches you this sooner or later, but only if you're willing to go inward.
Agreed. This is the first time Ive heard those specific phrases used but Ive been practicing this forever (my family has rage issues, time issues, travel issues and control issues) and theyre always puzzled why I dont 😂
My friends and family relationships has improved by the let them theory and people actually respect me and it’s two way friendship now. No more draining energy it’s so freeing. I am so grateful for for mel.❤❤
My Dad taught me this same principle when I was a kid and I am now 57. It’s not a new way of thinking. Each person can realize this at their own time in Life. Thankfully, what my Dad taught me has worked well for me all these decades…and still does. ❤
Amazing video.❤ I applied this straight away at work after listening it and feels amazingly liberating and freeing because I had been in this cycle for long time giving my energy away on things which I can’t control.
Great first conversation on the podcast of the year. Great to learn about to take care of yourself & to transform yourself well. Need for as much positivity & growth.
55 min in and it hits home...when my husband passed over I had photos all over the house, it felt like I was waiting for him to walk through the door at any time and then one day I just broke down and I packed away almost all of the photos and layed the others facedown. I needed time to figure out who I am without him.
This is awesome stuff here! Something that is sticking with me... I think it can be tricky, managing that "superior" feeling without letting it get to your head and/or effect the ego's perception, ya know? Perhaps the goal is moreso "Let them" because I gotta stay focused on my climb & the love ahead versus aiming for that feeling of being of a higher status, rank or quality which I'm afraid is usually short lived, anyway.
There's a book called The Gilded Nexus of Prosperity, and it talks about how using some secret techniques you can attract a lot of money, it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal
I have a unique situation where my husband and I have built a small home in an expat community in Mexico where we spend winters. The majority of my neighbors are alcoholics and drug abusers. They prioritize partying over all else. Fine, I can’t control that. The issue is that these people come to my house daily and are intoxicated and want us to party with them. No amount of gates, locks, and very straight forward verbally set boundaries seem to discourage them. It’s gotten to the point where I get major anxiety thinking about being in this environment. Bracing myself for these encounters. In addition to anxiety I have guilt because we worked so hard for so long to manifest this dream that has become a nightmare. Ive basically spent a billion dollars worrying about all the village idiots 😫
Can you start pretending like you are very spiritual person with a strong faith in God and act like a person who stays away from alcohol because of your beliefs.. And slowly set your boundaries. Being an hindu from india it worked for me.. Can u give it a try.
Re: communication with “friends” from the past-can’t happen with this older person-when I had those friends in the past there were no cell phones so I can’t just “text them” now like you suggest. I would love to be able to do that! I moved a lot with my husband’s job. Now he’s passed away I’d love to contact old friends however lost all phone numbers or addresses (which they probably don’t have any more) so no way to contact. Younger ppl like you have that just txt them ability cause you’re born with an iPhone but older folks are lost. Life’s not easy. Thanks anyway
I'm going through a very hard break up with someone that I was very in love with, who according to this video, showed me her true colors. She would beat me down verbally, I think it was too convince me that I wasn't worth anything. So I would stay with her
I know that feeling all to well. Don't let anyone disrespect you and never let yourself be treated badly. Really think about if you loved the person or just the feeling you've got from her when you had a good time
Just always remember that when it comes to the important things in life, no one knows any more than you do. We all have a tendency to think everyone knows more than us or their opinion is more powerful than our own. We're all just winging it in life so why should anyone's opinion matter more than your own if they don't know any more than you do. In many cases, they even know less than you. Let them do what they think is best for them while you do what is best for you. For some people, this stems from religion where they have to ask an idol, a god or a prophet for permission to live their own lives. They are used to giving their own power away to something outside of themselves other than looking within themselves for their own answers. They are taught they will be punished or they are sinners if they believe in themselves and their own instincts. It's not selfish or narcissistic to have control of your own life!
“Why am I making it my job to manage their mood?” That just shook me
Yes and look up external locus of control, if you’re healthy, you have an internal locus of control and don’t blame others for how you feel
For real! It can totally be life-changing. Just think about how freeing it is to let go of those heavy feelings. It opens up so many opportunities for positivity and growth.
Exactly!!! ❤
I like this! I understand it as "Let them show you who they are, don't stop them".
Every single word that Mel says is GENIUS! It’s incredible
And you should develop critical thinking. "Every single word is GENIUS"...Really?
I love the way Mel puts all her ideas and thoughts in a simple and easy way to understand. Her new book is a modern version of Stoicism. Great message to start a new year. Keep up all your great work Mel.

I am a teacher and this is the most challenging thing to do. I will be practicing this every single day.
I am too, I was thinking to practice this as well!
PLEASE STOP I watch both of you every morning, what a wonderful video and way to continue 2025. LOVE LOVE LOVE to see you guys together. Thank you both.
Me too!!!!
❤❤❤
I have this written on my bathroom mirror, so that I see it frequently....
"Peace begins where expectations end"
Romans 8:18 is on my mirror 😮 reminded me of this quote
“I am not what I think I am,
I am not what you think I am,
I am what I think that you think I am” 💯
Ooohhh yes, Jay AND Mel, I’m loving this combo
❤❤❤
"learn to love people as they are" that's they key ! working on this
I finished reading Ann Napolitano’s Hello Beautiful shortly before listening to this…I kept thinking throughout the whole book; why can’t Julia just love William the way he is!
Or accept and move on
I admire people like Mel and Jay who are so passionate about helping others by sharing their stories and ideas that I’ve decided to strive to become more like them myself. She is so right about the difference between 'let it go' and 'let them' . LOVE MEL ❤ thanks Jey for this ❤
Its like Jay just decided to get something for me

So many gems and jewels dropped in this podcast wow. Can't wait to get into this book!
My Dad taught me this same principle when I was a kid and I am now 57. It’s not a new way of thinking.
Each person can realize this at their own time in Life.
Thankfully, what my Dad taught me has worked well for me all these decades…and still does. ❤
This isn’t new at all.
@@nadsclaire4696might not be knew but I assure you there are many that are hearing it for the first time.
Common sense isn't so common anymore, it got lost, took a wrong turn or something, over the years.

I woke up to this wonderful message

Don't ask to someone what can i do for you. Just do something to get better his/her situation😍😍😍💯Tremendous👏👏👏👏

@reef2980 I'm not sure man. I think on my end I loved the future I saw in my head. But how could I love someone that was so nasty to me
I know this. It took me 4 years to leave. You have to decide your worth.
Just always remember that when it comes to the important things in life, no one knows any more than you do. We all have a tendency to think everyone knows more than us or their opinion is more powerful than our own.
