I care for my daughter with severe schizophrenia #tappedandskipped it’s extremely demanding and depressing. I always question if I could be doing more. I need positive encouragement.
I care for my mother, 86, who has Alzheimer's disease. You are absolutely right. No matter what you do for your loved one, the moment you fail, you chastise yourself so harshly. I suppose that mindset is part and parcel of being a caregiver. I mean, if we weren't so hard with ourselves, we wouldn't have become caregivers.

Absolutely ❤ this conversation. It is helping me as I walk this professional pivot path towards clinical mental health clinician. Learning through teaching really resonated because I have struggled with retaining information in prep for licensure exam. Thank you.

One of the most insightful & relevant talks I've heard in a while. LOVED the bit about *self promotion vs. promoting the IDEA*. Makes it not personal, but rather something I actually want to defend. You guys are dynamite together - thank you both!

Hey Jay. The point about having the same teacher for multiple years reminded me of my martial arts training.
