      Life Choices
Peterson"s slavish interview with evil Netanyahu
      Peterson spreading Israel LIES
Peterson ignoring Nazi War CRIMINALS committing genocide.
Peterson acting like he is some paragon of virtue and fearless trurth to power when the exact opposite has been amply displayed.
Your channel is excellent but i will pass the sick bucket on Peterson

      Hear, hear 🍻🙌
Edited the spelling. I'm sorry I didn't notice. Maybe now this will not be so confusing..
""Hear, hear" means to express agreement or approval, usually during a speech or meeting, essentially acting as a verbal applause, particularly used in formal settings like a parliament to show support for a speaker's point; it originates from the phrase "hear him, hear him" which meant to actively listen to what someone is saying."

I'm a young medical doctor in Iran. There's a law here that all the doctors must practice medicine for 2 years in rural and remote areas of the country in small government health facilities ( kind of a tax for free university education). You and Dr. Peterson have helped me a lot through these hard times in my country. I even taught many of yor protocols to my patients which are mostly
    illiterate elderly people :)
Happy New Year. Wish you the best.

Glad I'm not the only one who was paying attention to that dynamic 😂😂😂 Huberman managed to get some interruptions in himself also to even things out, though I think he needs to be more aggressive to match JP. But jokes aside, there's merit to both styles of conversation--it's no news that JP loves to run with his thoughts and share this process at the cost of interrupting the other speaker, but this can actually take the conversation to more exciting places than two overly polite interlocutors. The optimum ground is somewhere in the middle I guess... lol nevertheless, they share the common passion in common subjects and somehow make it all work out in the end. Would love to see them keep it going.

As an agnostic, Peterson's "Biblical Series" lectures really helped me understand why the Bible became what it is for the world, the symbolism it contains, and what people find in it. My perspective shifted from "this is stupid" to "this isn't stupid, but I still have doubts about many religious issues." However, the way Peterson speaks and interrupts his interlocutors nowadays makes his newer material completely unpalatable for me

About two hours in, Peterson refers to a poem and knows he misquotes it. He also misattributes it to TS Eliot. He is referring to The Second Coming by Yeats. The line "the centre cannot hold; mere anarchy is loosed upon the world." Just to direct people to it, because it's a marvelous poem and the point he made about it in relation to the corrupt state was interesting.

Mr Huberman, can you please consider co-ordinating a conversation like this with

I’ve listened to this podcast three times now-it’s so endearing and refreshing, like a breath of fresh air. This particular episode stood out because of how earnest you were. Jordan Peterson’s insights are always thought-provoking, and I’ve listened to many of his lectures, which have had a significant impact on my life.
I know this podcast might bring a lot of backlash from certain groups, but I hope you’ll remain steadfast. I know you pray, and my prayer for you is that you have clarity of vision and a clear path ahead.
All the best, and I hope you continue bringing light into the world. Thank you for your dedication to science and for sharing your insights with such sincerity.
Could you also please consider doing an episode on endometriosis at some point? It’s a topic that could use more awareness and discussion. Thank you.

    "Proper prayer establishes your aim."
I felt compelled over the weekend to start learning about Christianity. Having grown up without religion, I feel a bit overwhelmed, jence the reason i came home from Barnes and Noble on Monday with 3 different bibles to compare (one being chronological because I think that format may help my comprehension!) and im really enjoying hearing the biblical references throughout the show. I'm excited to reference them in my new Bibles as I learn how to walk this new path in Christ. ❤🙏 I also appreciate Andrew's questions on the various religions and admitance to being a "newbie" and it almost feels like a "nudge" that I'm meant to see as confirmation that I'm not the only adult "newbie" grasping this way of life in the world! 🎉

Which "old scriptures" suit your bias? Is it the bhudism, Islam, Hinduism, christian, or Asgardism? And can you say a prayer for all the children born into the other religions. We don't want to be selfish in our beliefs, right!? 😅

49:05 props to you holding your ground here, Andrew! Peterson often doesn't recognize when he is interrupting the flow for the listener. I think it's safe to say most listeners want to hear people finish their points of view before a response is given, Dr Peterson!

I am amazed by Peterson‘s gestures. The way he is expressing himself. Not only with words but the way his hands describe everything in its own way. I have never seen someone so expressive with his hands like Peterson. Right?

I really love this podcast. It's important to realize that their is a paradigm shift happening in the world. People are starting to realize that the idea of, "community" has essentially diminished since the internet started. Community is essential to humans and strengthens each person as an individual. We can reference the Asian cultures who rely on their community. I believe rugged individualism, while a romantic idea, is actually a detriment to the person and those around them. Religion is a controversial topic, but it is important because it is a key function in bringing people together and forming a community - something which most places have lost. If you don't have a religion, find your church, find your people, and create your own community - other bringing the best out in themselves while bringing the best out in others. Humans are not meant to be divided on a perpetual basis like we have been. We all know a large enough group can solve most of the problems in the world.
There were many key moments in the podcast - one that stood out was, "if you start from nothing and keep doubling you'll get somewhere eventually". I think nowadays people use terms like passion and mindfulness loosely and they have lost meaning. It's hard to lose meaning in the Truth - your own truth. If you follow something that feels true to you, usually the universe will open up a path for you to follow.
The only other thing to add is that Andrew and Jordan never set out to be celebrities on the world stage, and have transitioned to that in just a few years. I don't expect either of them to be perfect, because no one is. They have both contributed to humanity through their media presence. For those who have a dislike for Jordan, it's important to attempt to see things through his worldview. He almost became a worldwide figure overnight, blew up to fame and made mistakes along the way. He has attempted to right those mistakes by holding himself accountable, (he has an entire podcast episode dedicated for his peers to call him out). I don't believe he has an intent to harm anyone, or any group of people. After working with incarcerated youth for decades, it occurred to me that almost none of them had positive father figures in their life. Jordan has in at least some way, given a positive role model to young men. This is extremely important because it will have a positive impact on their future and ours - it was a huge void for a very long time.
I'll end with sayings I hold close to me:
    1) Knowledge is completely useless without the ability to change perspectives
    2) You get what you put into it!
    Happy New Year!

I think because Jordan tries to communicate in a more neuroscience friendly manner this gives him grounding and shows his philosophical or Jungian analyses can be grounded in reality too. It makes him seem more rigorous.

Dr. Peterson has some interesting points. I laughed though at about the 21m mark of him interrupting Dr Huberman for the 10th time to lecture about how he taught his kid that you have to learn how to take turns or nobody will like you. So much awareness yet so little. Still I just laugh and continue being grateful for the value of systematic insights into humanity.
