I love the part about leading the way towards affection and more communication styles. I've struggled with dating people who have a different lifestyle, people who aren't into self development. I can't imagine how people from different religious backgrounds get together

good points all around but I like how you pointed out the difference between standards and tactics and how the ego comes into play. One thing I would like to point out about being vegetarian or not is that both non vegans and vegetarians are partaking in the cruelty as the dairy industry is even more cruel than the meat one so vegetarians are either really misinformed or just posers. Speceicism is a great documentary I invite all of you to watch and maybe you could interview the director as it's astonishing whast someone that young pulled together, and unlike earthlings, it is not as hard to watch......but still hard. I don't eat with non vegans as to me it would be the same as eating with someone who abuses children, simply unacceptable.... so I meet the people after so they can enjoy their cruelty and I don't have to partake in their satanic ritual. Non veganism is not a personal choice as to be non vegan one has to take someone else's l ife and that is why I talk about it here. This is also why real vegans never use pharma, they test on animals and of course, real medicine has been around for thousand of years, unlike pharma. My body my choice.... it's sad seeing all these platforms trying to sell them as the only way we should all accept. Another discussion for another day~ Lastly, pointing out pain and suffering are not the same thing and they can't be used interchangeably. One can google the difference and it is quite well explaiend. I know links are usually blocked or I would share one. But it was great, the rest was priceless~ Thank you.

First, people need to know what matters in a relationship: connection, actual intimacy (feeling safe to be vulnerable and let someone in while knowing you will be heard and not judged), trust, compatibility, willingness to work and grow together, empathy for yourself and the other, reliability, consistent loving behavior, etc.
A lot of people get into relationships looking for someone who looks good with them/to them and to have a source for sex. Some get into relationships to validate that they're wanted. Some are hiring applicants for the job of their partner, meaning they're looking for what employers are with education and accomplishments, which validates their own pursuit of those things.
These are all versions of getting another person so that _______. People might not be aware of their own motives so starting there might be a thing.
My experience has definitely taught me what a relationship isn't. I have had to create standards so I'm clear on what I will not tolerate. I also had to figure out why I kept entertaining similar people.
I'm figuring it out still but I definitely waste less time when I find out this isn't it.

Thank you both for this. What struck a necessary chord with me was Matthew's comment on being on a growth journey and rejecting anyone who is perceived as not being on the same journey as yours. Just because their journey doesn't look like mine doesn't mean that they also aren't doing something wonderful and enhancing for themselves that can also benefit me and the world. Needed that.

5:26 vulnerability. Sometimes ppl think they are practicing vulnerability when if someone asked them if they’d be open to feedback about themselves they would shutter at that. Because they don’t want to feel vulnerable or aware of themselves.
7:14 instead of being aware of raising a real relationship is so much more interesting and fulfilling.
8:14 people who aren’t emotionally mature think peaceful is boring. When ppl perceive passion and ups and downs, always exciting and unpredictable as a good relationship, but this is lack of maturity in relationships.
10:41 A peace that isn’t by any means boring because you feel at home. You feel This person gets me. And how they deal with that conversation and how they deal with it.
32:42 if you ignore your real needs you won’t feel safe you don’t feel acknowledged your needs aren’t being met they don’t provide empathy, you don’t feel settled.
38:00 egoic unhealthy standards because a lack of personal compassion
49:09 it’s more important how someone thinks then what they think. Now i crave it in look forward to it not being able to have healthy conversations is a turn off to me not when it just stays surface and there’s no working through anything. I now know how someone deals with challenging conversations. Or if they can’t have them at all. You see how they deal with the conversation itself, bc you should need that. Someone who can acknowledge things can’t grow, they can’t aviniéndote how you feel or how their behaviors affected you, that’s a key component of narcissism. Not being able to acknowledge or take ownership of their behavior not taking steps to correcting their before you’ve brought forward. Not being able to empathize with what you bring up.
Another area people think they are simplifying life, avoidance when they avoid conversations. But they really make their life more complicated.
47:35 Having a conversation about why a person does something is more important than what they do
56:46 create your own culture because most people have gotten into a passive state with relationships. Just like in business, what’s the culture I want to create, instead of passively letting things happen.
1:16:18 The rat experiment 🐀 of choosing pain, choosing to go through it, vs begrudgingly being forced to do it. Choosing it shows positive markers of learning and growing, not choosing it shows all the negative markers of stress. We have choice and it has its benefits. Anyone who don’t choose you cannot be for you, because they don’t see you. They shouldn’t be desirable for you if they aren’t choosing you.

The heartbreak portion was great. Found myself yesterday missing my ex that I ended things with 3 years ago. We talked briefly after and I tried to repair but she decided to move on and I’ve blamed myself for a long time. I find it helpful the part about them being here and choosing not to be with me. Also neither of us are who we were 3 years ago so the person I miss doesn’t exist. I haven’t struggled for close to a year, but yesterday couldn’t get her off of my mind and this helped. Most people don't know how to have Confrontation I used to think it was yelling and screaming because that's how I grew up its just a simple conversation its being vulnerable its telling your partner what you need and giving them the road map on how to meet your needs without blaming or shaming them its own your emotions and if you make a mistake its ok to talk about it by being vulnerable and just saying I'm sorry that wasn't my intention in a healthy relationship Confrontation can help the relationship to become stronger also Reassurant Appreciation being patient with each other being present in the moment of what you're doing together and listening to each other listening to understand not Reply being excited to see each others always go on dates always make time for each other ❤🥰

No matter what has happened in my past relationships I will not project that on to my new Relationship by Separating myself from my past and present because what I experience I can learn from and grow I can choose to forgive and heal because everything is an experience and I have a choice my first step was to fall in love with myself every day that allows me to heal we all have love inside of us love is everywhere Love is magic Love is beautiful love is patient love is kind love is respect my Second step was Reprogramming my brain to know what love is because i know what love is not I starting with my childhood Wounding I also worked on abandonment issues and I heal my Relationship with my parents because I'm not a little kid anymore I get to choose and create that life I want i know my parents did the best they could with what they knew i love them both I'm grateful for what i went through as a child so I could become a better Parent to my kids ❤🙏🥰

Sure, I'd be happy to tell you more about being a relationship coach! As a relationship coach, you provide guidance and support to individuals or couples who are seeking to improve their relationships. You help them navigate challenges, communicate effectively, and strengthen their connection.

I love how all these men go hurting so many before they “ realize” then they meet a woman when they are better and marry them.
But they have a list of so many women that didn’t deserve their poor and neglectful treatment. This includes Hussey and Lewis Howels who dated one of my friends…
The pain he brought to my friend was unbearable .

"The One" implies a lack of choice. Predestination. And if we decide it isn't a CHOICE to love someone EVERY DAY, then we set ourselves up for failure. We wonder why this ONE person is failing us. It's too much on them and on us. Love is a choice. Relationships take work.

He who trully loves you will give you confidence in yourself .
Absolutely not the one that takes
away your self - confidence and nake you feeling small and wothless.
I know that from my personal experiences .
